Not only did they give us a great price, they paid amazing attention to detail leading up to the big day. They both spent a lot of time and back and forth with us to ensure we were on the same page as far as what type of pictures we wanted, with who, how many, etc. These ladies are very friendly and easy to work with, and have since become personal friends. On the big day, and days leading up to it, they were above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and getting the coverage we needed. Communication was a bit tough in Mexico seeing as our phones did not work, but they were readily available and willing to cooperate and get things done. On the day itself, they were professional, efficient, and did whatever it took to get "the shot", including Shannon practically laying in the water to get a beautiful angle of my wife and I standing on a beach cliff. She got nailed by a wave, but still got the shot, and did not care one bit! The most important part, of course, is the actual photographs, and they were AMAZING! Don't have a single complaint in the quality, the professionalism, and getting exactly what we wanted. The post-wedding transaction to get the photos was easy and straightforward, with Shannon supplying a nice wooden box with a thumb drive, and all of the photos readily available on her website. She even edited a bunch of pictures for us upon request, to get things like rogue jet-skis out of the background of a few pictures. I will end this as I began it. In our search to find a photographer for our wedding, we came across this company. While I was…read moreimpressed by their prices and the presentation, I was quickly turned off by their customer service. We were sent out a contract to read without a deadline as to when it was to be returned. As I was going out of town, I set it aside to be handled upon my return. When I came back from my trip abroad, I had four voice mails over the course of a week asking me about the status of the contract. I was only out of town for a week. Then, I checked my email to find a message from the photographer with CAPS used throughout the entire email explaining her annoyance that I have not returned her calls. I find it unprofessional when someone types an email with a style similar to a 14 year old. In addition, the photographer asked us if we were not getting back to her or if (this is a direct quote from the email): "date is cancelled or the really sad news that we have saved this date for you and lost out on another job and you have decided to use an unexperienced camera." First, the use of another company would be worse than our wedding being called off? Who says that to potential customers that they are still trying to sign a contract with? Second, just because we are not going with them does not mean we are incapable of finding someone just as competent. It is as if she is remarking that we too are incompetent. I would also like to add that not only is the above sentence poorly structured but the work "unexperienced" is not found in the dictionary. I am happy to say we will NOT be signing a contract with them. I hope they like my use of the CAPS. Oh, and PS, they have won an award from the Knot, which is how they pull you in. Do not be fooled by the award on the wall.

Some are in B&W and others have select items in color. There was not a family member, guest, or part of the event that was missed. One of the best things is having the ability to do whatever we want to do with the pictures. I was able to go on a web site and create a special memory book. There was no pressure at all to buy a minimum order or an album. This is a great feature. The x 2 comes in that we made a gift of this photographer and her services to our son and his wife for their wedding. I highly recommend this photographer!

We had our engagement photos done by them around the urban ecology center in Milwaukee. It was the perfect setting, rustic with flowers and trails . I loved every single picture they took. They made it so easy and comfortable as my husband isn't a huge fan of pictures but we laughed and laughed with them and it was an awesome day getting to hang with Gloria and Ron. Fast forward to 7/7/23. I couldn't have asked for better photographer/videographer, every single picture I wanted whether it be with the bridesmaids or family or my husband, they were there. We even added on an hour so we had them for a total of 8 hours. It was worth every penny and every minute to have them. We are more than grateful to have found them and chose them as our photographers. They were patient with everyone and they made everyone laugh. The best decision you could ever make!…read more Where do I start we met Caroline at a local wedding show called WedMke and chose to meet with her as her energy seemed to be everything we were looking for. She is extremely personable and took the time to get to know us where I would say we have grown into a friendship. After meeting with her we were sold as not only did her packages have the greatest value she was reassuring and excited to be able to capture our story through her lens. We did our engagement photo shoot and my wife and I were a little nervous but she walked us through poses and helped us capture the exact vibe we wanted and did I say she completely understood lighting with shooting people of color which was huge. She brought her brilliant Brazilian vibes to every shoot we had and helped to not only coordinate on day of wedding but to tame the crowds as we all know sometimes taking group photos can be a challenge. However she did that and so much more. She truly was the gift that kept adding as she even gathered up a special surprise for our wedding day making it even more special. Joanna's photography style is all encompassing without being over bearing. She made the photography part of the day 100% non-stressful. Everything I wanted captured from our wedding was photographed without ever having to ask. She made clear that between her and her assistant, the day would be covered--there was no need to ever track down the photographer when you wanted something captured. Her hands-off, blend-into-the-scene style resulted in many quality candid shots. The day of the wedding I was already getting compliments from people on her style and work during the day. Her work on the standard church ceremony and family shots were beautifully done. I chose to let her choose what proportion to do as color vs. black and white, and was pleased with her selections. Given the number of pictures you get back, most series (vows, family, toasts, cake, etc) had both color and b/w pictures. Joanna was more than just accommodating of our winter wedding--she was excited for it! She did some recon the week before the wedding to find some great outdoor locations and good snow cover and lake shots to make the pictures the day of the wedding perfect, without having to hunt for them the day of. She left the choice of going outside entirely up to us, and was willing to stay outside and trek through the snow for as long as we chose. I appreciated that the payment schedule is broken up in three, with money due on signing the contract, just before the wedding, and when the photographs are completed. We had our photographs finished and delivered to us within 4 weeks of the wedding. We do not have our photographs in digital or online format, which seems to be more of a concern for out of town family looking to order than it is for us. Overall, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work, especially for the low price we paid.

Tyler and Mary were/are such a great couple and photographers! It was the best decision to hire them and have them capturing all the special moments with their magical touch and sense of art! Weather you need a photographer to capture the spontaneous moment or help you pose, Mary and Tyler got you covered! They are the perfect team to have for any occasion/event you're celebrating or hosting! You can tell by just talking to them that you're talking to right people and LOOK no more and no further for any other photographers. I wish I can rate them on Yelp for other categories to give them 5 stars for every and each single aspect of photography. The communication was great and smooth from the beginning and the whole thing went very very well! Oh my Goodness, the speed of delivering the photos back to us was almost the speed of light! Well, that was an exaggeration apparently, but what I mean here is that other photographers will take at least 45 days to 3 months (in a lot of cases) to deliver the photos back to the costumer. It took Mary and Tyler less than a week! Image quality was fantastic. Sharp and colorful photos with a great on spot focus. Mary and Tyler made sure that we're happy with the results they provided. they responded to our questions, explained everything clearly and accommodated us based on our needs. I can't recommend them enough and we're very happy that we chose them. We will choose them again for any other event as I/we highly recommend them.
