The 1 hour always flies by as we were trying to figure out all of the clues. We chose the Speak Easy puzzle which was great. We had to ask for multiple clues to get started however, once we got in the groove it was smooth sailing. The speak easy room was 4/6 difficulty so it made for a fun time. By the end of the session we were exhausted from scrambling around but it was worth it in the end. We were able to complete the puzzle however, the last two clues did not work so the staff had to come into the room to help us. From her knowledge they just redid that room and all the clues were not set up correctly therefore, we could not truly complete the quests. Overall, it was a good time. Great team building exercise. I wish they made sure the room was fully functional prior to allowing customers to book that space for the 1 hour session. I recommend checking this establishment out if you are in the area. Cheers!

Every room is private so it was just the 2 of us and they let you connect your phone to their system so you can listen to your own playlist while painting. They give you ample and quality gear - poncho, coveralls, gloves and goggles. And then they send you into the room with plenty of paint, 1 canvas per person and whatever else you ordered (paint bombs, paint guns, spin art, stencils, etc). We also got the bear pour as an add-on and I'm super excited about it! (Note that the bear can't be taken home that day though so we paid for shipping). You can paint wherever and however to your hearts desire. Our room also had plastic axe throwing and a drum with paint on it to splatter. I LOVE taking pictures so I also very much appreciated that they come in constantly to take pictures and send them to you a few days later. When it was time to go, they give you pizza boxes that hold the canvases perfectly. We laid down a sheet in our trunk underneath but it wasn't necessary (and our canvases had A LOT of paint on them so we we were impressed they didn't spill - and made the 1.5 hr drive home without getting ruined). It was a fun way to celebrate my birthday and I would definitely go back with my 3 boys! Afterwards, we did their target zone with BB guns (they said age minimum is about 10 which makes sense). I wasn't sure if we'd do it but I wanted to extend our day to more than just the hour so we went ahead and did it. VERY WORTH IT! Ron helped us and was a great instructor - very nice and happy to be there. We tried their airsoft rifles and then their handguns and both were very different and fun to play with. My husband and I went head to head making it a fun competition and it's pretty easy to pick it up quickly. Overall, great experience and really friendly staff!

We were a group of 20 people that were divided to two groups and toured the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The tour was out of the ordinary which made it fun and funny. I've done the GCC for two years in a row and plan on making it an annual tradition. You will rack up a lot of steps, work your brain and learn a lot about the rich history of New York City. Some of the challenges are hard, some of them are extremely hard (binary code and interpreting braille) and most are fun. There's even delicious treats that are added in the mix. Upon stepping ONE FOOT into this facility with food alternatives for this child, I was SCOLDED, insulted and spoken to in a completely unprofessional manner IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN. The facility could not have inside the alternatives I brought (who knows why) and the child was immediately embarrassed, ashamed and wanted to leave. The overall tone of this party was not one I'd expect when teaching a class of 18 6/7 year olds. Although the owner did apologize once the party was almost finished, I highly do NOT recommend. The two stars are for the way the class ran which was fairly smooth and the party options like karaoke and the Photo Booth. What a shame.

From the moment we walked in, the space had such a chill, artsy atmosphere. The instructor was not only super talented, but also so kind and helpful. He walked us step-by-step through the painting, demonstrating each part on a sample canvas and checking in with everyone as we painted. He kept our mimosa glasses full and refreshed our paint palettes There were also fresh pastries and fruit to nibble on while we painted, and he even helped us take photos and videos throughout the class Whether you're planning a cute date, a girls day out, or just looking for something creative and fun to do in NYC, this is such a unique experience.
