Took the train from Austin to Burnet last weekend to shop/play. We visited this lovely family owned coffee shop to get out of the rain. Not only were the drinks/food great, but the staff was extremely friendly. We felt appreciated as customers! We will return for sure! read more

We came for the coffee and amazing apple fritter but discovered other delicious baked goods to try. I was thrilled to see some gluten-free options and decided on the pumpkin bread. It was quite tasty, even for gluten-free! My only complaint was that I couldn't taste any flavor in the coffee that I ordered with sugar-free vanilla sweetener (still needed to add a package of sweetener to it). Staff were very friendly though, and the rustic decor fit the Burnet setting. read more

Made a quick pit stop while doing some antique shopping and am so impressed. For such a small town that you wouldn't think had quality baristas, the espresso was perfectly pulled, neither bitter nor sour and almost creamy- didn't need anything added. The cold brew coffee was also delicious. I've several years experience as a barista and live in Austin where coffee shops are a dime a dozen. I'd recommend this coffee over any I frequent there! I'm not sure if they offer fair trade organic coffee, but if so I would consider making the trip back! read more

Love this place!!! Their brownies are the best I have ever tasted. I usually get a machta frappe when I go there and it's always delicious. All of the staff are so friendly. I love the fact that it is a Christian owned business. The crosses and scriptures all over the walls make it a warm and welcoming place. read more

The owners are friendly. The atmosphere is rustic, inviting, and family-friendly. There is free wi-go. The desserts are exquisite (I recently had a baked apple fritter loaded with pecans, heated, and slathered in butter that was sinfully delicious)! My only qualm is that everything is served in paper cups or cheap paper plates. It's functional, but doesn't scream "stay a while." And good coffee is best served in a big cup where a discerning drinker can more fully experience the coffee. It's located on the square, so parking is limited. read more

Wow! Best cup of coffee I have ever had. I ordered my usual - iced coffee with cream and they actually made an espresso. The coffee was amazing. I never really like Starbucks coffee because it is so acidic, but this Unshakable Grounds coffee was honestly the best I have ever had. I always grind my own organic beans at home and am very particular about my coffee. But this place makes me want to just go there everyday and have them create my perfect cup. Yummy! I had a scone and an americano. My friend had a hot cocoa. The atmosphere is so positive. A great place to sit and rest a while; or grab a cup of joe to go. My son was running in a marathon and we decided to venture out for lunch and support a locally owned business and chose Unshakeable Grounds. Everything we ordered was AMAZING! Chicken salad sandwiches, brownies, and poppy seed lemon bread were all fantastic. Although we did not try any of the coffees they have a great selection. This little coffee shop is a marvel. The coffee is better than the name brand icon. The atmosphere is friendly and authentic. The owners are nice and personable. They also serve cakes, snacks, breakfast items. My husband had a fresh fruit smoothie and I, of course had a great coffee! You must try this place.
