This place was fantastic ! I had the caprese salad as an appetizer and the brisket panini as my meal. The caprese was good! Nothing too unique but tasty! The brisket was one of the best briskets I have ever had. The sandwhich also has 3 sauces which were all delicious! I cannot stress enough how good this sandwhich was. Others at my table also got the meatloaf sandwhich and the pork belly sandwhich. They both really enjoyed their sandwiches as well! Would recommend ! read more

Super friendly and very accommodating staff. The staff were so nice to let us dine in even though they were closing in 20 minutes. We order an app with warm pita bread and red pepper hummus plus balsamic fig sauce for dipping. The balsamic fig sauce was amazing that we had to ask the staff if they had them for sale. The Cannon River Feisty Bitch semi sweet wine was easy to drink. The hot apple wine was only ok. I think it would have been better if the wine was mulled a bit longer or the temperature could be hotter. My husband enjoyed his sample of the guardian of the beam beer. They had a very nice patio as well with live music until 8pm. They were voted one of the best wine bar in MN according to Star Trib. We stopped in on a warm Grand Rapids day for a adult beverage. They have a variety of wines and beers - all from Minnesota. I had the Lift Bridge mango blonde. A soft flavored beer with just a hint of mango. I liked it, it was very good to sip on a warm afternoon. My SO had a flight of 5 tasting wines, she choose a variety of red wines. Unfortunately she said that they were mundane and not interesting wines. Service was on the slow side but we weren't in much of a hurry. They serve food but we didn't go that route so I can't assess it. I'd come back for the beer and to try the food. read more

This place was so cozy with beautiful scenic art of the area in the wall! The stuff was so friendly and welcoming. The owner was present and very pleasant. They found out it was our wedding anniversary and treated us to a delicious cupcake stuff with apples. They sent us home with an unwind wine glass too. I came here in August of 2021. I can't say enough good things about this place. A few highlights 1) They serve only Minnesota made wine. I was a bit skeptical of the quality of Minnesota wines but I had a tasting of several and 9 of the 10 were amazing! 2) The staff was so friendly! They were super helpful, informative and just super welcoming!! 3) The interior of the shop / wine bar is so cute but the outdoor patio just offers good vibes. As a vegan, there aren't many places that I can have a great meal up north, but Unwined pleasantly surprised me with the beyond burger "the Superior". By far my favorite place in the Grand Rapids area. Their niche is local (Minnesota) wines and they do it very well. There is always new wine and beer in rotation , so you always have the opportunity to try something new. Even if you're not visiting for the wine, DEFINITELY come for the food. I have yet to order something from here that I didn't like. The meatball grinder may be my new favorite though! Great wine & food. The prince flatbread is wonderful. The charcuterie board is very good as well but we added more food to it. Wish it were a little bigger for the price. The service was not that great. Our waitress was not very friendly and said less than 10 words to us. Took her 5 min to even acknowledge us and the place was not busy.
