FRESH is what comes to my mind when eating here. This is a small, sexy, order at the window kind of place with a sweet quaint outdoor seating area. My wife had actually eaten here before and recommended that I tried it so here we are. I ordered the chicken bowl because it was what they recommend for us first timers. It didn't take long and our food was ready. It was nicely presented in a degradable bowl and looked amazingly fresh. When I dug into it, the chicken was super tender and the rice was the most moist I had ever seen. There were pickled onions and cucumbers with a white tzatziki sauce on top. The chicken had a great perfectly seasoned flavor and was complimented by all the other fresh flavorful toppings. I would definitely recommend you try this on your first stop here. I visited this restaurant today for the first time around 1:30pm today for lunch. The location was convenient, parking was on the side of the road next to the restaurant area, near the police station across the little "street", and in the little parking area near that and was all free, the lay of the various buildings and structures related to the restaurant were kinda confusing to figure out, after a minute or two I figured out where to order food, it was difficult to actually visually see the restaurant workers as they had two pieces of white-painted wood covering both the ordering window and the receiving window, their menu was big, bright and clear right on the little porch where you order, there were no employees of the restaurant outside in the various spaces, tables, etc., out on the outside premises to give customers guidance on where to sit, answer questions re ordering, etc., Hannah, the lady who took my order pleasant, friendly, and efficient, my lunch order was the Chicken Bowl which was the restaurants suggested choice for all first time customers!, prices were reasonable, the chicken bowl was delicious and healthy, there were able three different areas, kinds of seating, etc., where customers could eat their ordered lunch (you receive your food on the right-hand side window on the porch area where you also get your ordered drinks) basically outside on a hot, steamy summer day. Having followed Up North Fields on IG in prep for vacation, I was eagerly anticipating our meal here! Unfortunately, I'm not sure it lived up to the hype. The good: Food is fresh, veggies good quality. Yay for being gluten free! Easy parking and seating, thankful for covered seating! Friendly staff, I think the owner or manager chatted us up a bit. The could be better: Needs a wider range of drink options - it's either water, or something with cherry in it. Though I'm all for supporting the local cherry farmers, and enjoyed my drink, my husband doesn't. Though he's a big Diet Coke fan, even a plain iced tea would have made him happy! Possibly not enough protein and toppings? Though you can order extra protein, I did not, and felt I needed more protein, even with adding hummus. It also felt there were just a couple toppings, definitely needed more! And an alternate sauce option, for those that don't like ranch or tzatziki. On IG, it's advertised in a bowl, did not come in a bowl, so a bit of a bummer. Love that it has a u pick flower area! Sadly there were none to pick when we were there. All in all, Up North Fields is a healthy and fresh option, but be careful to not leave hungry! read more

Went there based on reviews. So disappointing. We ordered 2 chicken bowls and 1 hummus plate. If you've ever shopped at GFS or Costco you know this is where the ingredients come from. The chicken was meh; and definitely was from a bag (yes it had grill mark; no it wasn't done in-house). Tzatziki sauce- again tastes just like Costco's. That's about it in the bowl: store bought chicken, tzatziki, chopped cukes and onions. $13 But we orders extra chicken: $5 negligible amount. Ridiculous. Extra sauce : $1.65 for about a tablespoon. So one bowl came to $20 and we left hungry. The Hummus plate came with a tiny (about 2 tablespoons of hummus), salad probably from a bag and 1 small naan(again, u buy these at Costco). $18.65!!!!! PS- no cooking smells coming from that hut. Everything tasted like it was from a bag and put into take out containers. Tried it. Never again. read more

Clean, delicious eating. Friendly workers. Outdoorsy & relaxing. My husband was diagnosed with celiac disease two weeks ago. Prior to his diagnosis, one of our favorite ways to connect was over exploring new and tasty food, but the idea of eating out since his diagnosis has been daunting. This was one of our first times eating out. He had so many options at Up North Fields. I had the chicken bowl, he had the brisket bowl, and we split the spicy cucumber salad. Both of our meats in our bowls were tender, veggies were fresh and flavorful, and the sauce tied everything together. On a 75° day, sitting in their covered outdoor eating area next to the flower garden was the relaxing lunch ambiance we were looking for on our weekend staycation. If you're looking for a filling meal that doesn't feel too heavy especially after day of swimming, biking, hiking, or soaking up the sun, Up North Fields is the way to go. Saw this place on TikTok and decided to add it to our vacation adventure. It did not disappoint. The service was outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious. The day was perfect to sit in their garden to enjoy the food. My girlfriend and I are extremely happy we added this to our day/vacation. 100% recommend. read more

Delicious food bowl! We most often order the ribeye steak bowl, with extra sauce, and love it. My only complaint is that the amount of steak is skimpy, especially given the price of over $17. This food was absolutely delicious! I had the hummus plate and my husband and daughter had chicken bowls. We were all 100% satisfied and will definitely go back! The quality of the food was good. Very tasty. Portions are tiny. After eating, we went home and made food. We each ordered the chicken bowl. Again... Tasty, but tiny (and very little chicken). If you haven't tried a bowl from Up North Fields, you are missing out! The bowls are fresh, flavorful, and so delicious. I am obsessed with the chicken bowl (with veggies, rice, and a yummy white sauce) but can't wait to try the hummus plate on my next visit. A vegetarian option is also available. The menu is simple; and everything is so fresh! Also available on site are beautiful bouquets of sunflowers, mixed flowers, or you can even cut your own from the adjacent field. This place is super cute, has outdoor seating (in the flower garden if you like!) and a simple menu. Just like any successful business (an eatery or otherwise) it's best to stick to what you know instead of trying to please everyone with too many choices, none of which are done right. The combination of flavors in the chicken bowl is spot on! I would, however, ease up on the amount of rice and substitute with more protein. The pickled onions are too big , far exceeding the size of protein pieces --diced would be better. That said, it's very good clean food and I will be back! read more

We visited for lunch on August 30th. It was just perfect. There are several picnic tables making it a lovely setting to eat the delicious food. We ordered the chicken bowl and it was very good. Staff was incredibly friendly, even had a special sticker for our 3 year old. We walked the garden and picked a few flowers which our daughter loved.
