Delicious food bowl! We most often order the ribeye steak bowl, with extra sauce, and love it. My only complaint is that the amount of steak is skimpy, especially given the price of over $17. Having followed Up North Fields on IG in prep for vacation, I was eagerly anticipating our meal here! Unfortunately, I'm not sure it lived up to the hype. The good: Food is fresh, veggies good quality. Yay for being gluten free! Easy parking and seating, thankful for covered seating! Friendly staff, I think the owner or manager chatted us up a bit. The could be better: Needs a wider range of drink options - it's either water, or something with cherry in it. Though I'm all for supporting the local cherry farmers, and enjoyed my drink, my husband doesn't. Though he's a big Diet Coke fan, even a plain iced tea would have made him happy! Possibly not enough protein and toppings? Though you can order extra protein, I did not, and felt I needed more protein, even with adding hummus. It also felt there were just a couple toppings, definitely needed more! And an alternate sauce option, for those that don't like ranch or tzatziki. On IG, it's advertised in a bowl, did not come in a bowl, so a bit of a bummer. Love that it has a u pick flower area! Sadly there were none to pick when we were there. All in all, Up North Fields is a healthy and fresh option, but be careful to not leave hungry! read more

This food was absolutely delicious! I had the hummus plate and my husband and daughter had chicken bowls. We were all 100% satisfied and will definitely go back! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the hummus was garlicky, the naan was warm, cucumbers and tomatoes were amazing, the salad dressing was a little sweet and so, so good! The quality of the food was good. Very tasty. Portions are tiny. After eating, we went home and made food. We each ordered the chicken bowl. Again... Tasty, but tiny (and very little chicken). If you haven't tried a bowl from Up North Fields, you are missing out! The bowls are fresh, flavorful, and so delicious. I am obsessed with the chicken bowl (with veggies, rice, and a yummy white sauce) but can't wait to try the hummus plate on my next visit. A vegetarian option is also available. The menu is simple; and everything is so fresh! Also available on site are beautiful bouquets of sunflowers, mixed flowers, or you can even cut your own from the adjacent field. This place is super cute, has outdoor seating (in the flower garden if you like!) and a simple menu. Just like any successful business (an eatery or otherwise) it's best to stick to what you know instead of trying to please everyone with too many choices, none of which are done right. The combination of flavors in the chicken bowl is spot on! I would, however, ease up on the amount of rice and substitute with more protein. The pickled onions are too big , far exceeding the size of protein pieces --diced would be better. That said, it's very good clean food and I will be back! read more

We visited for lunch on August 30th. It was just perfect. There are several picnic tables making it a lovely setting to eat the delicious food. We ordered the chicken bowl and it was very good. Staff was incredibly friendly, even had a special sticker for our 3 year old. We walked the garden and picked a few flowers which our daughter loved. Overall absolutely perfect place for lunch, definitely will return. read more
