    White bean pesto salad

Relaxed, local cafe with deli salads and sandwiches. Everything was super fresh. They had a high chair for our son which was very helpful. There were a bunch of local flyers and posters by the front door which made it feel like home. Very casual and great spot when heading in or out of town.

Really good food and very friendly service.... definitely a 4 if it were a little more affordable.... 2 sandwichs and one side of couscous was $35 for lunch.... Very good quality

I love this little deli! Amazing food and espresso. I stick to the hot sandwiches, my favorite being the Cuban

Falafel sandwich and fries with aioli

This a local deli type restaurant in an area of TC that is going through some gentrification. It's about 1-2 miles from TVC airport, so stop in and get food for the plane!! The menu is small but the sandwiches as big! Somewhere between a panini and a quesadilla, the sandwich ingredients are rolled in a piece of grilled lavash type bread. They also offer a few pasta dishes and some deli salad items. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you on the porch or inside at a table. The falafel sandwich was perfect. They were definitely homemade patties, had plenty of flavor and weren't greasy at all from the cooking process. All I needed was half for lunch, second half will be for dinner with some salad! French fries were made to order, golden brown instead of yellow and perfectly crispy on the outside with soft potato on the inside.

This is a decent place if you are looking for sandwich or pasta. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is clean and quiet. The food was average and could use a little more flavor. The Cuban wasn't the most memorable dish. The rigatoni felt like it was missing something, but I did enjoy the house made pasta. I do love the charming atmosphere and will come back and give the food another try.

The best pasta! Fresh, and healthy especially for those who have gluten sensitivity. A bit pricey, but it is worth the cost for quality.

Amazing fresh bread with my muffaletta...tasty and fresh. Quaint seating and friendly staff as you can expect at a deli style restaurant.

Fantastic . A low key eatery with vegetarian options. Had a wonderful bean soup and a savory turkey tart with a delicious crust.

We split a braised beef and a mushroom gnocchi and found them to be a wonderful balance. The braised beef was recommended from our table neighbors and did not disappoint. The sprouts add a pop of freshness to pasta dishes that, somehow, do not make you leave feeling heavy. Topped off a lovely dinner with an espresso-tini for dessert. Yum.

The service was very friendly, and the food came out promptly. The small Italian chop salad ($8) was ordered to start the meal. It came with brick cheese, pepperoncini, sweety drop peppers, croutons, parm, and an Italian vinaigrette. This was very good and fresh. There was enough of all the ingredients, and they mixed well with one another. It was lightly dressed too. For dinner, two pastas were split, the pesto ($16) and scallop ($21). The pesto had creste di Gallo pasta with toasted pistachio, basil, and parm. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, but the pesto sauce itself seemed to be missing something. Everything was definitely fresh and the crushed pistachios were a nice touch, but it just seemed to lack something. The scallop had gnocchetti, roasted corn, marinated tomato, white wine sauce, dill, and sunflower sprouts. This was top notch. The sauce was very flavorful, and again the pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente. The fresh corn and tomatoes just enhanced the spectacular white wine sauce. Will I go back? Easily.

The Oliver (triple) was exactly what I'd been craving in a Michigan-style olive burger. The pimento olive spread was generously slathered on to the crispy lacey-edged smash burger patties topped with Swiss cheese on a nicely toasted brioche bun. The olive spread was perfect...just enough to be bursting with flavor, but not so overpowering that it dominated the entire burger. The fam tried The Junction and The Laura, both on lightly toasted Gluten Free buns. The Junction (Glendale's version of the classic Oklahoma onion burger) was very good, and the GF bun was met with positive reviews. Glendale even offers GF fries, which were excellent (their normal fries are seasoned & battered; but the GF fries were a bit better). If you're looking for a thicker, juicier burger, this is not your place. These are straight up paper thin, crispy smashers. And if that's what you're looking for, I'd recommend no less than a double, if not a triple. Drink selections include bottles of various Northwoods sodas, sparkling water, and other choices from the cooler. Glendale presents as an old-school diner, with cool decorations and some posters of Saginaw heritage (the owner's roots). Speaking of the owners...the lady working the register and delivering food to everyone was one...and she was super sweet and nice. It made for a great experience right out of the gate as we were figuring out what we wanted to order. You walk up to the counter and order, then they deliver to your table; or you can sit on a stool at the counter, just like a classic diner. Plenty of seating, but when they get busy, it fills up quickly, yet the service remains fast for the cooked-to-order burgers & fries. Décor is fun (they have a Big Boy!) & fitting for the diner vibe. The entire place is extremely clean and well kept. Pride of ownership shines through in the entire experience.
