They recently bought the land next to our neighborhood - it was all mapped out for residential homes and looked great. They quietly and underhandedly sold 4 adjoining lots to the NDPA jr high (a charter school) for them to divert their traffic through our small quiet neighborhood from hill field. This was so disappointing. We tried to get the City Planning to enforce the school to not have any access to their property in our neighborhood and they can't do anything for us. The school won't respond to any of us as we ask them to be good neighbors and not have an access point in o it neighborhood. Sadly, very disappointed in your Symohony. Next time you think about building with Symohony, please keep this in mind - they don't really care about us having our nice neighborhood. They want to make a buck.

Building a home for the first time can be exciting and daunting all at the same time. Our builder…read moresent us to Creations West to look at their plans and find one that would work for us. I'd actually already designed my own set of plans, which I brought with me at our first meeting. When we came in, Caden met us and brought us into their conference room and offered us some water. We showed him the plans we'd drawn up, which he actually was impressed with. He then explained that they would be happy to use my plans, however, to help us save money, we could take a similar plan that they'd already created and modify it accordingly. He then brought us 4 or 5 different plans that he felt would be easily modified to fit our design needs. Sure enough we found a plan and with Caden's help was able to tweak it to fit our layout. He took our plan and reworked their existing plan and quickly had a working draft of our new home. Then our builder went on vacation and we had to wait to sell our existing home to put the money down to really start the ball rolling. During that time, my wife and I would re-examine the plans and think of something to change or modify. Each time, Caden was more than willing to make those changes for us and did so in a very timely manner. He often offered some suggestions that we hadn't thought of like adding a door at the end of the basement hallway before the stairs, to help keep noise and heat in the basement. Caden even took the time to go through different online images of vaulted ceilings and fireplace settings to see what we thought would look best. He was very patient and we felt he genuinely cared that we were happy with our plans and totally understood our need to "get it right" instead of living with regrets after the fact. Creations West has hundreds of plans to choose from and as I've stated, are more than willing to help their customers design the type of house they'll be happy living in for a long time!

This company said they needed a deposit which I had no problem with as they assured me it was refundable. That was a total Lie they set us up right away on a payment plan and said they needed money to go over the plans with us I told them at that time I was not yet sure who I was going to go with and again they assured me that it was refundable. Again that was a lie they had locked me into a contract and were actively charging me for services even with no deal in place and knowing that we were still looking for the best deal. Well it turns out we went with a different company that is building a unit twice the size for half the cost. and now this company is claiming they can't refund my money because they have already spent it on paying there employees. This is not good business other company's bidding on this have charged me nothing. and done just as much. if you are looking at this company for building don't pay them a dime until you are absolutely sure that you are going to use them. they will Lie to you thought the hole process. James Sanders Is as dishonest as they come. He acts very nice and professional and makes you feel like he cares but he will Lie to you to get your money and really that is all he cares about. He even told me that Murray city would not allow the plans we already had and tried to get us in a much smaller unit which would not work for my Daughter. That is the plans we are going with and there has been no problem getting the City to approve them. Beware they are real jerks if you choose not to go with them. And they will steal your money for nothing.

Suffice it to say there was a small hole drilled in it after we hung a picture (I had no idea the pipe curved ‍). Enter Woodside warranty team, and specifically our guy Johnny with Woodside. Now remember, this was my fault... but they hooked us up and made sure the pipe got replaced, the hole got covered and the wall got repainted just like new. In this day and age I am used to getting brushed off and told to fix things myself. Woodside stepped up and showed us how they take care of their people. Since day one they have showed us that they value their customers and consider them family. Johnny even hung around and fixed a ripped weather seal on a door.
