What a gem of a place for littles! A friend assisted us in getting a free week trial. We went a little further out of our area due to the great reviews and the fact that you can start as young as 3-years-old! At first I didn't know if my little guy would be able to do it..but the staff was incredible--they knew just how to include him and when to give him space to warm up. It took a few classes but he started participating more towards the end of our trial. They even gave him a little turtle stuffy with a white belt and the most adorable and appropriate book that illustrated all he was feeling! We read it for several nights that week and I honestly think it helped. I was blown away that this place literally thought of every way to support children. We signed up our youngest to boost her confidence as we were having issues at her new school. Moving to a new area took a bit of an adjustment at school for her. She was hesitant because we previously had her enrolled to Karate but did not like the constant kicks to correct stance she did not strive. We did a trail and since day 1 she has really enjoyed it and has been striving. Every day afterschool she checks the schedule and reminds us what time we have to leave. This family owned establishment is Amazing!!! Jung and his lovely wife Anna are the owners of this Martial Arts School, they are very welcoming and loving. They are very knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. I love how they motivate the kids they keep them engaged by incorporating fun ways to learn karate, the front of their establishment has big open windows, the lighting is great a big and spacious floor planed area to spar and the kids have lots of space to kick, punch without having to be to close to each other, they also have one restroom. We came here for a Birthday party and it was so much fun, all the kids had a blast. They played games and did an obstacle course, the Birthday Girl and Boy gave a wonderful demonstration on all the karate moves they learned. Their form was impressive and you can tell their instructors taught them well, I will be bringing my kids back for a trial they offer to see if they are a fit for your family and let me tell you they already felt like they were after meeting them just once, Im positive my kids will want to sign up and become students for sure lol.
