I've trained muay thai for three years and trained at four gyms in two states. Jaguar is by far the best gym I've ever been to. The only thing I love more than the high quality of the training itself are my teammates who push me to be the best fighter I can be! Jaguar is the high point of my day and if you're interested in training, this is the place to be.

    Great private coaching by Josh

I enrolled my son at this establishment just shy of a year and couldn't handle the way the kids…read moreprogram ran anymore. The coach has ZERO patience for children and let's them get under his skin very easily. The idea when enrolling a child in a gym is to have them let off some energy while obtaining some basic Muay Thai skills. His idea of discipline is to waste not only time but money sending them to kick a bag for 30 minutes. Not to mention he only has class 3 days a week for roughly 40 minutes. You can enroll your child an exit away where they charge you less for not only more Muay thai, but coaches that actually care about the littles, have patience for them, and WANT to see them improve in the sport. If your interested in watching your kid practice and it's hot outside, you better be prepared to sit in a room that's just as hot. The whole time in the summer there wasn't any ac so you have little kids practicing in 100 plus weather while parents have to sit there with them. Older kids and young adults may be ok with all of this but in my opinion, its absolutely no place to sign your child up.

I've been doing some form of martial arts/boxing since 1998, and have seen a lot of gyms all over North America. This one is awesome, for so many reasons. First: I'm a girl. That means my gym experience (especially in the testosterone-fueled boxing industry) usually sucks, thanks to creepy guys attempting all kinds of nonsense while I'm trying to work out. Everyone here was super-respectful, and focused on their own business. Two: The owner Steve, who was friendly and accommodating from the first. Also, the place is supervised by an amazing gentleman by the name of Reuben. This guy is old-school polite, and was beyond helpful with my training. Due to some health issues/injuries I'd been out of Muay Thai for a while, and he was super patient in helping me get back into my boxing routine. Three: The gym itself. All the equipment and bags you could need, plus a great ring. (Bonus? Next to Rick's Dessert Diner, if you need to replace some calories. Just saying'.) Looking forward to coming back to Sacramento soon so I can continue training here!

Hasn't claimed his business via yelp or google... to avoid accountability. Doesn't answer or respond once you try and "leave". Very unprofessional and SHADY. gym is small, and overpriced with poor service. I have run into multiple people experiencing the same experience. Don't sign up unless you know for sure you never want to quit. Otherwise you'll have to call your bank to actually stop getting charged.
