PLEASE TEACH THESE PEOPLE HOW TO DO IVS! I came in with numbness in my toes and fingers and they took blood work, put in an iv, did an ekg and a cat scan. All came out normal EXCEPT for the IV which they clearly dont know how to put in correctly or take out correctly! They took out the iv and then I started to bleed all over my clothes, my purse, my car. I had to come back in to have them redress it... there was so much pain and so much blood! And they had the GAUL to tell me, "oh this happens all the time." WHAT? ALL THE TIME? Someone needs to hire a whole new crew, Cause these folks have no business near a human being. read more

Horrible. Avoid at all costs, especially the ER. Do they even have actual doctors or does a NP run it? Either way, it's poor.

My BF came in very sick, waiting room was full. He was triaged and taken back to be seen. During triage Ashley started a IV line and started pulling blood work, Kim came into help, then here comes Rose. Everyone from check in to discharge were wonderful. Med Surg nurses were wonderful, Taylor, Ashley, Rose and Techs were fantastic. Rooms were clean, the entire hospital was clean. I would bring any of my family members to this hospital. No stars to be given - the place needs reform! DISCRIMINATION AT ITS FINEST ***** this ED will ignore you and treat you worse if you are pregnant**** This ED is one of the worst places to go to in a true emergency. Since covid, staff is so short and the knowledge is even shorter. Bedside manner and all over the care is nonexistent. I was there March 2nd of 2022 around 9am - due to chest pains/shortness of breath and passing out (I am a 26 year old female & 37 weeks pregnant). I waited a good 45 mins to even be seen by the intake nurse for starters by that time I was having some contractions while my chest pain was still at large. She was very rude to me. She took my blood, inserted an iv, and ran a quick EKG. I then was asked to wait again in the waiting room for another 45-60 min wait. By the time they called me back to a room and see a doctor, some physician approaches me because I was walking slow (I had chest pains and clearly wasn't feeling well at that point) she insisted I was in active labor and put me in a wheel chair and escorts me to L&D. L&D checked me out and it was obvious i wasn't in active labor, luckily my midwife whom I was familiar with (she delivered my twins in my first pregnancy) was concerned about my health and obviously babies health. Once baby checked out, she asked me what was going on and I told her all about my chest pains and shortness of breath. She then took notes and talked with my OB. They then sent me back over to the ED to get my blood panel back and see what else what going on. My nurse was Gage. He took a urine sample and I then again explained all my symptoms to him - he gave me a bag of solution through my IV and some Pepcid (because apparently what I was experiencing was "just heartburn") and hooked me up to a heart monitor which required leads - The doctor came in my room to explain my results. She was very rude to me, very forward, and didn't make it sound like my symptoms were nothing to be concerned about. She verbatim said "it's heartburn." My panel came back with high levels of possible PEs. The doctor told me we should run a CT to rule it out. She didn't go into side effects, if it would work or not, nothing of the sort - Again, she made it sound like I didn't have a choice. She then asked me, if I was open to being admitted to the hospital because she was talking with my OB and they wanted me to stay for monitoring either way. I told her "yes" this was now around 12pm in the afternoon when she said she'd get started on admitting me and getting me a room - I agree because of the results of my panel, it was the only test to rule it out since they weren't preforming V/Q scans anymore (that's what the doctor told me) I went back for the CT scan with a technician named Kirk. He was very awkward. He unhooked my IV solution I was receiving and wheeled me off. He explained about the test and I did everything he asked. When taking me back to my room, he said they got over 160 images and that it would be 45 mins until results were read. He then chuckled and told me to expect a separate bill in the mail from them- (which was weird) I get back to my room around 1pm and the doctor came in and said the results of the CT scan were inconclusive and she blamed myself and my baby for "moving" TURNS OUT after my midwife, OB, and my primary physician looked at the results (I have the portal on my phone and got all the results as they would put them in, so I reached out and messaged my primary to look at results) the tech or whoever took my CT scan gave me the dye at the wrong time and didn't get ANY good pictures of my chest so we couldn't rule out PEs. WHAT A HUGE LET DOWN!! After that came out, I didn't see another doctor or nurse from 1:15pm until about 8pm at night even though I rang my call bell a bunch of times. I was sick of waiting and waiting (I was very pregnant and had to pee and no one was coming) I had to take off my own leads and plug them back in. There's so much more to this story on all levels of oversight, I truly got screwed over and over again. I've never been this upset over lack of care in my life. I could totally see how people were dying of "covid" there when that most likely wasn't the case- lack of staff, care, and knowledge will be the end of that place or any place really. Wake up people, fight for your rights and care!!! read more

I feel sorry for my self to lived near this hospital where the treating patients in this hospital is probably a joke. I waited in the waiting area to be called for over a five hour just me in the waiting area and have to come home sick and untreated. I wish I could rate zero for this hospital and I recommend going extra hour far hospital rather this one unless I wanted disappointment. read more

I had a very bad experience here, waited over 6 hours, asked all the nurse how long the wait no one have the answer, I recently moved here and this is my first time ever have to wait for this long at the hospital. The longest i had ever waited is 30 minutes. My advice is drive a little further hospital that have good reviews. You will waste 5-6 hour waiting. read more

Specifically the crisis department. Absolutely the WORST morons. Claiming they are an independent company. David the "supervisor" and his condescending little assistant Clair were ABSOLUTELY ignorant during this already stressful time with my family member! Zero and I mean ZERO communication causing hours of aggravation and chaos. All that could have easily been avoided had they done their jobs correctly. They should be fired!! read more

By reviewing the hospital boilerplate responses on other sites, it is clear that the hospital does not take this seriously enough. Uncaring and surly people are in charge. Long waits and excuses are common. Don't waste your time filling out a form...write to the president, Mr. Jonson, or go to the Sentinel or Patriot. This place is a joke. Absolutely worst experience at a hospital EVER!!!! No communication with us to let us know what was happening. 33 hours and counting without medications even for the things they diagnosed. And when we got so irritated that we asked if we could just leave, we had more than 6 hours waiting for a telemedicine discharge with a psychiatrist on call. Still no meds. Then I asked what would happen if we just walked and I was threatened with a call to children and youth. Rang Bell to use bathroom bc not allowed to go without permission, bell was ignored and turned off twice. read more

Spent some time in the ED the other day. Staff were great. Dr. Ortiz, nurse Allison, ultrasound tech Erin, triage Lisa were all fantastic. Even the young man pulling trash was very nice. It pains me to report how dirty the place was. Evident by the pictures. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not take anyone to this joke of an ER. My friend is having an allergic reaction and they told her go sit down. Over an hour later as she was passing out we got her out of there because they wouldn't do anything for her. I waiting on the phone trying to call and tell them she was passing out for over 25 minutes with NO answer. What are they playing at. Letting her die in the waiting room. read more
