Food was amazing, this bread was nice and soft. The staff was very kind and made sure to check in. It was well maintained/clean. Definitely would come again!

Whenever I pass through Manistique I make it a point to stop here. It is consistently good and such an amazing alternative to any other fast casual type of lunch option! You can order ahead on the website and pick up if you're in a hurry, but if not there is plenty of seating inside as well! I've tried many sandwiches but my go to is usually the Georgia Reuben. While Donckers in Marquette is hands down the best turkey Reuben I've ever had, this is a good one. Today I happened to try the chicken dumpling soup - it was the thick, somewhat gelatinous version with diced veg vs more of a creamy one with homemade dumplings and shredded chicken. I would just ask ahead if you are a little more particular like me- wouldn't order this soup again. This is a bright, spacious and airy building with fun little shops in the Trader's Point complex. If you are in the area, it's your perfect lunchtime option!

We're camping in the UP for the first time and read another traveler review of the Upper Crust and decided to give it a try. It was a fabulous decision because it's terrific! It's cute as a button, clean and welcoming. I had a BLAT on sourdough everything bread and it was really good. My husband had the homemade Pioneer Hash and cleaned his plate so I am guesstimating it was pretty tasty! If the weather is fair they have lovely deck with a water view.

Friendly service, delicious food! Try the Schooner. Nice little view of the water. A must stop when visiting Manistique!

Yum!!! I was on a road trip, and needed to stop somewhere for lunch, and this was the perfect place! I got half of the best ever turkey club, and the Wisconsin cheese soup along with the salted caramel cake. And one thing, I usually only order turkey to be healthier, but the sandwich was perfect! The Wisconsin cheese soup was a nice touch for the cold dreary day. Everyone was kind and service was quick! And if you want to eat inside, they have beautiful big windows that overlook the water!

Stopped in for lunch before visiting Kitch-iti-kipi. Attentive and friendly service. Very well executed cafe experience with high quality soup and sandwich offerings. Nice deck out by the water as well. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch!

Awesome homemade soup and sandwiches I had the Rueben and cream of broccoli soup fantastic

Cute little deli/cafe on the waters edge. We stopped for lunch and the wait staff was friendly and helpful, they have a well rounded selection of menu options. I was recommended the Granny Smith sandwich which consists of turkey, provolone, pesto and Granny Smith apples, I thought the bread (my choice of sour dough) over powered the flavor of the sandwich so I took the bread off (delicious) wish I had a nice glass of Pinot Grigio to go with it. My husband had the Haywire on pumpernickel, which had turkey, provolone, tomato, lettuce, Canadian bacon and mayo piled high. He loved it! Would love to try this place for breakfast too bad we are passing through. Give this place a try!

A wonderful little spot off the beaten path. With delicious food and a friendly staff. Stopped by here today for a quick bite to eat. Had some of their delicious blueberry cheesecake. I didn't know this place even existed in Manistique. Will definitely be back. Girlfriend said the bathroom was very clean as well. And we enjoyed this spot very much with some beautiful views for indoor dining.

Fresh food. Sunny, attractive setting. The line was a bit daunting when we walked in, but it moved along. Would like more coffee options.

So crispy they could double as Olympic gymnastic rings (if you could stop eating them long enough to try). The vibes are right up my alley.. there's a shaggy shepherd "watch dog" who clearly runs the place from his post on the deck. Don't be fooled, he's not just there for security... he's making sure you don't drop any fries. The person who took our order was hilarious! 10/10 would let her roast me while handing over my food again. The Lions game was playing next door and we were able to watch while still eating outside. If you're looking for good food, good laughs, and a side of doggy cuteness, this is the spot.

I love hotdogs and like to think of myself as an expert. I will drive hundreds of miles just to try one. In this instance, I drove 200 miles round trip, just to try Toby's Windy City ( Chicago dog ). Also ordered was a chili dog for my friend and tour guide and a plain, no bun dog for my friends dog, which there was no charge for! My friend and his dog gobbled theirs right down! Me, I was trying to get my phone to work so I could take pictures. No luck with that . Anyway, I would call my Chicago dog exceptional with just a few things needing to be done. 1. Toast that bun! It keeps it from getting soggy. Mine totally fell apart with the first bite. 2. It was on a regular bun not poppy seed. Maybe that's why it was called a Windy City dog 3. The dog could have been a bit hotter for me, I like mine well done. With those few things, I would still have to say that Toby's Dog House, is in for another visit from me!
