We ate here in 2020. We're back in town tonight and needed dinner so we came back. We arrived at 7:45 and they close at 8. We asked if it was too late for service and without hesitation they said "Come on in and take a seat. The wife ordered a BLT with Fries and I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. The food came out quick, fresh and just as we ordered it. The waitress was attentive while helping clean up the joint and prepping for tomorrow. We both agree our food was very delicious. They offered desert and it sounded awesome but we couldn't even eat all the food on our plates. I usually grab the waitresses names when it's good service. Tonight she was so busy I didn't want to bother her to ask for it. Great food great service and great value! When we are hungry and back this way we will stop again! read more

Arrived into town on a Friday night and our other options along the way were closed or had a 1 hour wait. Three Seasons was open until 10 p.m. and we had a great whitefish dinner (chose broiled) for $20 that included the soup and salad bar. Pasty dinner also included the soup and salad (a great deal at $12?) [great last pasty on our trip - includes gravy boat] Our server recommended only the pies as the cake options were getting slim (not as good). Went with a peach pie with a sugar crystal crust top that better than expected. Salad bar had prepared salads along with make your own. Late night was down to just tomato basil soup which was fine with me. read more

The food was delicious and hot. Service was great. Family-owned local diner. Both dinners came with a salad bar. Pasty, gravely and soup and salad bar for $12.99. Took half of the pasty home and the waitress brought a to-go side of gravy as a courtesy. Hubby said the broasted chicken was the juiciest chicken he's ever had. Would definitely return. read more

Great diner style roadside eatery with lots of dine in tables for small and large groups. The pancakes are some of the sweetest I've ever had- almost like a dessert cake batter poured on the grill. Hearty omelettes with plenty of fillings. Big crusty homemade white bread that lands more like Texas Toast. Hash browns can be served with or without onions. Lots of rich butter flavor throughout everything from the grill. Only missing a star because we're in the upper penninsula and don't have REAL maple syrup available. read more

Recommended this place by family, and now we can Recommend it to you. Great little family diner with great prices and great food. We had the cod and the walleye fish dinner and they were cooked just right, one broiled and one fried. The place was packed, but the 3 servers were doing an excellent job. We wanted to try the pasty but we didn't have enough room. I got the senior size cod and it was very filling. After owning my own small diner, we truly appreciate all the hard work that goes into this type of business. Great job. read more

A few years ago I rated the Three Seasons Cafe three stars. However, the items I wasn't pleased with previously have been improved upon. The menu offers several choices for each meal, the food is tasty the portions are good and the staff courteous. A good place to eat while visiting the wonderful town of Manistique. read more

The 10% off coupon provided by the adjacent motel was a red flag. But, I went in anyway and was pleasantly surprised! First, the prices... very fair for a resort area. Plus, the 10% off! Next, the food... much better than expected. The veggies in the omelet were fresh and plentiful. Nothing canned or frozen. Excellent! The atmosphere? Well, typical for a roadside diner. Neither good nor bad. Finally, the server, Sara. She is the highlight of the experience! Friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. And, for those of us with hearing difficulties, her voice is clear and understandable. Bless you, Sara! Last note: The restaurant is for sale. Two things on that: If you're in the area, hurry in before new owners/managers take over. They will surely raise the prices and maybe lower the quality. I haven't looked it up, but the real estate listing probably doesn't mention the highest selling point: Sara. She really makes the experience special. This is a very convenient breakfast spot if you find yourself wandering across the U.P. I wouldn't call it "great" or a "must stop" because it's pretty much your typical breakfast joint with typical food. Let's face it, you can only do so much with normal breakfast food unless you go to some fancy restaurant with options with menus that include words like compote, poached, currants, glazed, ricotta, and creme fraiche. If, on the other hand, you want hash browns, eggs, bacon, etc. then there are few exceptional stand-outs in the dining world. There are some, but not many. As far as this restaurant, it's good for what it is meant to be: a friendly little breakfast spot with warm, satisfying, filling breakfast food. The food was disgusting...Philly cheese steak was unflavored hamburger at best and not proper at all, fries were hard, soup had an odd spice that ruined it...and pricing was high for sandwiches!! I was so excited to be able to order real chicken and it's delish! Darling cafe with real homemade food. We went to the Three Seasons Cafe today, Sept.24. I have wanted to go there the last couple of years and it just never came to pass. Our waitress was named Christie and she was phenomenal. We sat down and she was right over, introducing herself and took our drink orders. Diet Coke and water for my husband. We both got the Hot Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy all over the entrée. It also came with the salad and soup bar. Absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. Christie brought us extra napkins without us even asking her. She always came by and checked if we needed anything. We were almost finished and she brought us a piece of carrot cake. I'm usually not a big fan of carrot cake but, that was so delicious, I could have ate another one even though I was stuffed. If I don't get back again this week, I will have to come again next year when we are up here. Thank you again Christie your service was phenomenal. read more

I can't get past the liver and onions with home fries. I've had it maybe a half dozen times and it has been really good each time. It's a little loud in here during peak hours, but a fun dinner out! Wait staff is very good as well. I've been for breakfast and the coffee is very good. Always happy when the fourth season is over(closed for winter). read more

Wow. This locals only little diner on US Hwy 2 outside of Manistique has a warm and inviting staff AND incredible food! We had fresh locally caught: pan fried whitefish and broiled walleye. My better half has a severe allergy to dairy and they were more than happy to accommodate him with a well seasoned (lemon pepper) and simply broiled fish. While nothing looks impressive on first glance, the salad bar with their homemade pasta, vegetable, and bean salads were quite tasty. Homemade soups are also included with your dinner, and I dare say it looked like handmade noodles in the chicken soup. Bathrooms were also extremely clean. I got their daily special- for $11 I got two pieces of baked chicken, soup and salad bar, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, and green beans. Pretty dang good deal if you ask me! Their salad bar was stocked and fresh, and included a few extras like cottage cheese and macaroni salad. Their chicken and rice soup was amazing! The real highlight of the meal, I have to say, was the gravy. I am incredibly picky about gravy and almost never like it, so I ordered it on the side. But WOW am I glad I didn't just assume and skip it!! It's a beef gravy, and it's FANTASTIC. I put everything in that stuff. If you're in Manistique, this is a must stop for dinner! read more

Driving from Escanaba back home to lower Michigan I was looking for a place to stop for breakfast. Found Three Seasons and reviews were good so decided to give it a try. It's obviously a local place, the kind where if you aren't from around the area they all know it when you walk in. No wait, quite a few tables. Waitress was very fast and attentive. Ordered their Farmers omelette. Cheesy, soft full of ham and other stuff. Ordered a side of bacon, the bacon was cooked to perfection. A little pricey but the food was good and it was a quick stop. Great homemade food in a homey restaurant right on US-2 as you enter Manistique coming from the East. Excellent salad bar that comes with the dinners. I love their sweet potato fries that I get for my potato choice. They used to have a great rib buffet on Thursdays but that stopped last year. Bummer. But regardless, it is my favorite restaurant in that area of the UP. read more
