Second time coming here, best pizza in Clifton Park area. Staff was super nice. Pizza is always good, sauce is the bomb, and very cheesy.

Out of the many times I have been here it is amazing. They have very creatively made slices and I…read morecan also see they are very efficient. I find this place to be the pinnacle of a successful local pizzeria. The ambiance is also good. Their restaurant section however could use some cleaning on the floor and the food did take a little bit long to arrive, however with their vast menu and busy days I would like to give them another try at the sit-down experience. Would come back again and again for the slices though, for sure.

Since we moved out of Clifton Park in 2016 my quest for a great local pizza place has run its…read morecourse and left me disappointed. I am looking for a location that sells a good variety of slices, has sit-down tables which you actually want to sit in (no rocking tables and dirty floors for me), and has friendly staff. We recently came here again while in the area and I rediscovered it. It is definitely the best... bar none. They expanded next door into a location previously used by H&R Block, and the increased dining space is wonderful. The variety of slices they had at lunch is staggering, and not just the usual suspects either. They had eggplant lasagna pizza; chicken Fra Diavolo pizza with hot peppers (yum!); mac & cheese pizza with or without Buffalo chicken; salad pizza; etc. All looked good, and my Fra Diavolo pizza has become my favorite here. Of note: their Hawaiian pizza is a white pizza (no sauce), which is extremely unusual, but they provided a cup of sauce on the side which restored balance to the galaxy. I should point out that every Italian restaurant has their own style of red sauce: some are too acidic, some are too salty, some are too heavy with dried herbs, and some don't use enough. This place has a sauce which is similar to my Grandmas (the best!), and it is salty and acidic and oily and delicious. I could see myself parking in a chair one afternoon with a good book and slowly trying slice after slice. Since we live only about 20 minutes away, I think I will need to make the trek up to here more often.

The subway of pizza spots if you will. 5th or 6th time through and it's the same story in a good way. The build-your-own setup keeps things easy, and the fast-fired oven still gives that solid char you want. For a non-traditional spot, it hits above its weight. The ingredients tasted fresh again, and having full control over toppings makes it hard to walk away disappointed. Service stayed quick and efficient, no slowdown, no issues. It's not trying to be a classic pizzeria, and it doesn't need to be. It knows its lane and executes it well. BEAST Breakdown: * Consistency: Same quality as the first visit * Crust/Fire: Good char, quick cook * Ingredients: Fresh, customizable * Service: Fast and reliable Final Verdict: 4.0 / 5 - "Back-to-back solid visits." Not a fluke this place is dependable. The BEAST says if you want fast, customizable pizza that actually tastes good, this is a repeat stop.

A customer let them in and the group ahead of my husband was served, and my husband was told after waiting in line that they were closed and was sent out. That is how we treat customers before closing time? We let them stand in the line and wait for others to be served before telling them they are not serve served? And it's hard to ignore, it was the black customer that was not served after waiting in line.

FACT. i hadn't tried any of the pizza yet, but a few days ago, i was very hungry, and needed a pick-me-up before i got home to cook dinner. sooo, i opted for-after MUCH contemplation and debate-a slice of mushroom w. provolone cheese. often, pizza is...well, pizza. wasn't sure of what to expect. i was just borderline 'hangry"-but omg, the mushroom flavor permeated the entire slice, with each and every bite. was it a different kind of mushroom, not so typically mainstream? (no, i didn't see pink elephants...) and the PROVOLONE ! what a great combo. as well, and the flavors otherwise, whatever herbs/spices they used in the sauce/creation, made it the most EXCEPTIONALLY good single slice of pizza i have ever had. impressive. thank you.

Right out the gate, you're dealing with a clean, crispy New York-style foundation. The crust has that light crunch on the outside with enough give inside to keep it legit. Not overly doughy, not cardboard just balanced. That's how you start winning points with The BEAST. Now let's address the big talking point--the sauce. There's been some chatter on Yelp about inconsistency, and while that concern isn't totally off base, this visit leaned more positive than negative. The sauce had a nice tang with a slight sweetness, and more importantly it actually complemented the cheese instead of disappearing. Still not elite-tier locked in, but definitely better than average and trending in the right direction. Cheese + toppings? This is where Bella Lucia separates a bit. Good coverage, solid melt, and everything tastes fresh. No grease overload, no shortcuts it feels like they care about what's coming out of that oven. And let's not ignore the menu depth Stromboli's, sandwiches, etc. this isn't just a one-trick pizza stop. There's some versatility here.
