This was my first time to the restaurant with my family. We ordered cheese sticks and a large pizza. The cheese sticks took 40 minutes to get to the table. We were traveling north from Key West and were looking for pizza. This place had only 3 1/2 stars, but it was convenient and there were some 5 star reviews. The pizza was great! We had the vegetarian w/o the veggie mix. The crust was very good, the veggies were good, the sauce and cheese were great. Upper Crust Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Key Largo, Florida

Ordered 4 Slices of Pizza, 2 with toppings and 2 Regular. The toppings were just thrown on top of the slices. They literally fill off once you picked up the pizza. They did not put any cheese on top of the toppings so that it will melt onto the toppings keeping it intact with the pizza. Really pathetic. The slices are extremely small, they looked like something from the grocery store frozen section. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else. read more

Ordered pick up after reading reviews about cold delivery. It is in a local restaurant - bar - friendly staff. The pizzas (pepperoni & Mushroom and a Pepperoni & anchovies) were very good, thin crust, piping hot and cooked well. Some of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. We ordered the seafood pizza I asked if the crab meat was real or fake and the waitress looked so embarrassed to tell me it was fake. I asked if they could substitute the fake crab for shrimp and I would pay the difference. The waitress went and asked the owner, who then came back and said no they wouldn't do the substitution. So I asked for a couple mins to look over the menu to pick something else. The waitress comes back over and says the owner changed her mind and would now do the substitution. Great so we ordered the seafood pizza and an eggplant pizza. When the pizza came out the seafood pizza was so wet it made the pizza soggy, there was very little toppings on either pizza. Neither pizza had good flavor. The other disappointing thing with the seafood pizza was the tiny bay scallops on it, this is a restaurant in key largo right next to the ocean why are they using bay scallops and fake crab meat ??? Oh and the price to substitute the shrimp on the pizza $9. From the minute we walked in it felt like a place the locals go and it seems from the terrible service, they don't care about the tourists. read more

This was the best meal I've had in 3 weeks down here in the upper keys....a 16" cheese pizza!!! The pizza was delicious and the price was reasonable....so much better then a couple high dollar "seafood" restaurants in Key Largo I'd eaten at recently. Great service..very polite and was right on time with drink refills and to go boxes for us!!! We will be going back there to try some of the other options on the menu. Plus: they deliver and are affordable. Cons: cold when delivered- pizza leaves much to be desired- crust is very dry - cardboard like, and toppings are sparse. For a easy dinner when traveling the convenience is there, but a little more effort with the food would be great. read more

Sat at the bar on Tuesday night Jan 30th, 2018 with my wife. Ordered drinks from a very rude bar tender. The pizza order and questions about silverware and napkins were also met with defensive comments. Pizza was hot but not great. Much too thin. The bar tender received next to nothing for a tip so I saved money. I don't recommend this place to any unsuspecting tourest. Stay away. read more

I had read on TripAdvisor that this pizza restaurant was recommended so, after a long day of boating, we decided we needed a break from cooking. It was convenient calling in our order to Upper Crust Pizza. The delivery arrival was earlier than we were told which was wonderful. We ordered just a simple medium pepperoni one-topping pizza. It was delicious and the crust was very good. The eight piece size was perfect for us and we even had two pieces left for breakfast the next morning. The next time we are craving pizza in Key Largo, we will definitely call Upper Crust! read more

We stopped at this place to take sub sandwiches before going to John Penny Camp Park. The girl taking our order was not the least bit friendly but that's another story. We got 4 subs to go at a cost of $33 and all 4 were HORRIBLE!! The bread was literally stale making it inedible . The two turkey subs had 1 single thin slice of meat and a speckling of lettuce and tomato. I have to wonder what we would have gotten had we dined in. Certainly they couldn't pass off that crap had we been dining in. Don't give these people your business!! read more

Food took forever. Service was terrible. While eating, a roach climbed on to my lap and was crawling all over the place. My family could not finish their food. I alerted their manager. She came and killed the roach on the bench (being held by duct tape) with a dirty napkin and left the guts there as a souvenir. The pizza is tasty and the crust is good. The chicken tender meal was only tenders and no fries or chips. And they tasted like they had been frozen and unfrozen multiple times. After staying in Key Largo for a few days, we wanted pizza. We saw a few ads for this place and decided to try. It's got that old pub feel, which I like! Now let's get this out of the way. We're from NJ. Jersey pizza is the best pizza out there. I have tried pizza in many places, and nothing is as good as home. Upper Crust is a thick crust pizza, but the sauce is superb. For being in the Keys (and Florida in general), we were really impressed! We had an order of garlic bread for an appetizer and we loved the marinara that came with it. The waitress was also very friendly and welcoming! We will be back next time we are in the area! read more

We were in Key Largo on vacation and we had been told by some people we met that the food and beer selection were both excellent. Wrong on both counts. We ordered slices and I'm guessing the pie they came off of was sitting for a couple hours. We also ordered some pasta and sauce. The sauce tasted canned, very little flavor other than canned tomato. The beer selection was likewise unremarkable. We are beer nerds so we might be more picky than the average person but we were hoping for better after it had been talked up by people we assumed know about these things. Service was ok. I have driven pass this place a million times and I should have driven by it again. If you like pizza that you were served when you were in school then you'll love the pizza here. This pizza might actually be worse then school pizza. Instead of ordering pizza here,just chew on a piece of cardboard and you'll be set:-) . There is a strange smell when you walk in as well as the T.V. blasting. The decor is outdated but the old school beer lights are pretty awesome. We were disappointed with Upper Crust Pizza. From the reviews it sounded like a perfect little family pizza place. However that was not our experience. The first thing that catches you when you walk in the door is the harsh smell of cleaner. I've been to many great pizzeria's and none of them ever smelled like Zep tile cleaner. Next the $10.00 greek salad was a small amount of mixed baby greens with a few chopped onions and fewer sprinkles of feta cheese. The grand final is when you realize that you just paid 20.00 for a pizza that is bland at best. The final trick of the night was when we asked for a to go box and the lady piled five pieces of pizza on top of each other in a clam shell instead of giving us a cardboard box. So my teenager couldn't even eat the left overs. The only thing good I have to say about this place is that it was clean. read more
