Best Pizza in Islamorada 11-Star Experience! South Island Pizza delivered one of the best meals we've had in the Keys. Amanda and her family run this place with unbeatable kindness, speed, and true pride in their food. The slices are huge, the crust is perfect, the garlic knots are addictive, and even the burgers are next-level good. The service is lightning fast, the dining room is spotless, and you feel like family the moment you sit down. If you're anywhere near Islamorada, stop what you're doing and try this place you'll be glad you did. Highly recommended!

From Southern California, visited friends out who live in Key Largo this is one of the last of…read morenumerous restaurants we went to over the course of a week out in the keys. And yeah while I gave it 3 stars. It's actually a good 3 stars. Mainly because felt as though most of the food in the keys was pretty average. While it kind of was here as well, good things I can say was the place inside was nice and a good size considering it looked small outside. But inside it was nice, our service was whatever. Waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there. But did her part to take care of us. The sushi was good and more on surprising side . The food is reasonably priced, especially compared to how most things in the keys are little more but it's understandable. Price didn't really matter too us but was something I noticed. It was a safe bet and glad we actually enjoyed it compared to a lot around. So yeah lean towards recommending if you are in the mood for sushi.

Easy parking, handicap accessible, clean bathrooms nicely decorated restaurant, this hit I all the check marks We were quickly seated for lunch, and our server brought over menus, and a fresh picture of water. My friend ordered the shrimp fried rice, and I ordered the chicken stirfry hibachi. The shrimp fried rice is self-explanatory and was a generous portion. My chicken stirfry hibachi consisted of about a cup of chicken, diced, a little overcooked, along with some delicious fried rice and some soy sauce based fried vegetables. These fried vegetables were delicious, the rice was sticky enough to use the chopsticks with. Sarah, our server suggested an angel roll, which consisted of shrimp and some other goodies, including avocado on top with fish roe. This was on point and absolutely delicious Sarah was very kind, and answered all my questions, thoroughly. So if you're traveling through the lower keys, looking for a lunch spot, this might hit for you. I really enjoyed it. My friend really enjoyed it. So this lunch was about $43 and I left a 25% tip because she one of the best servers to help me in a long, long time

The food came out quickly and was delicious. I'm giving 4 stars because the service was a little slow. It took a while for our server to greet us, and they didn't bring clean plates after we finished our appetizer. We also asked for our sandwiches to be cut in half, but ended up having to do it ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the beautiful atmosphere. With a little more attention to service, this would easily be a 5-star experience!

The salad was creative and tasty and the grilled shrimp were perfection, large and flavorful. French fries are perfect and crunchy. Heard from others how good the spiny lobster is(although very pricey). Service was great and the area is beautiful. We were excited to go again and decided the shrimp tacos and Mahi Mahi tacos would give us more of the same. Really nice live music was happening and again service was great. Tacos were a huge disappointment! Trying to find the fish was almost impossible, tiny pieces! The shrimp was bay size baby shrimp that couldn't be tasted through all the other stuff. Big disappointment. Fries still good. Would go again but keep our expectations to what we have had and not more

The rich club like décor I am guessing was inspired by the Long Key Fishing Camp built by none other than Henry Flagler and a favorite stay of Zane Grey. Until I read Grey's 1919 "Tales of Fishing," I had no idea of his interests in fishing and generally attributed all of his writings as boing and rather mediocre westerns. But in fact he established the legendary "GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP Does Not Consist in A BIG CATCH. But in The Use Of Light Tackle and a REASONABLE CATCH" moto. He also implemented the world's first catch limits and catch and release programs. But of all fishing, his obsession was with Bonefish of which he wrote: "If I spent another month bonefishing, I would become obsessed and lose my enthusiasm for other kinds of fish. Why? My reasons range from the exceedingly graceful beauty of the bonefish to the fact that he is the wisest, shyest, wariest, strangest fish I have ever studied . . . As for the speed of the bonefish, I claim no salmon, no barracuda, no other fish celebrated for swiftness of motion, is in his class. As for the strength of the bonefish, I actually hesitate to give my impressions. As for his cunning, it is utterly baffling. As for his biting, it is almost imperceptible. As for his tactics, they are beyond conjecture." So, if you have a love of the Keys, its history, unsurpassable water views, good food and good service, a stop at Zane Grey Long Key Lounge is a Five Star must. Oh, and when I was there I had, and would suggest you try their Signature Margarita, and by all means, their Smoked Wahoo Dip which really has the true taste of the Keys.

The service was friendly, and you can't beat the happy hour menu! The prices for drinks and delicious seafood are hard to beat! There are also chickens running around below and sometimes, Fred and Wilma make an appearance on the second floor- adds to the fun atmosphere and flair of the place. Great to visit at least once and enjoy the island vibe.
