I've done everything possible to get UPS to deliver my packages to a side door: wrote in UPS's MyChoice driver directions, called the local office distribution hub, went online, and posted LARGE signs on my front door and steps, all ignored. My side door provides me easuer retrieval, and packages are hidden from "porch pirates". It's a very safe location just 15 steps from the front. I've decided that because of these issues, the drivers AND their helpers must be illiterate. They got 2 stars only because I do get packages delivered. They never used to be like this. Their quality of service has gone down the toilet. In a time when more people are ordering online than ever before, there are no excuses for poor service. Train your drivers to read, please! read more

I had a $6000 package to be delivered to me near Buffalo, NY. It made it from Michigan to Buffalo, NY in one day. Then sat in Buffalo for over a day. UPS then re-routed the package to Massachusetts. 2 more days have passed now, (soon to be 5) and still no package. read more

I needed a package early in the morning today and the only way to do that was to arrange to pick the package up at the Service Center. It's a little tough to find in an industrial area of Buffalo and if you come at it from the wrong entrance, you'll have to go around; so try to enter on Bailey! The customer room itself is small and I didn't encounter many smiles when picking up my package, but it was efficient. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PHOTO ID, otherwise you may out of luck. read more

This place is super frustrating because it's literally located in the middle nowhere and no one is helpful at all. I get a call from a UPS employee saying my package was ready for pick up between 7-8pm. I show up at 7:30pm and they told me the driver isn't back yet. So why would you tell me between 7-8pm? Shouldn't you just tell me the package is not available for pick up until tomorrow? This place is a 35 minute drive from my house. I wasted over an hour driving back and forth. It's also super sketchy and hard to find. Customers must go through the Bailey Avenue entrance but your GPS will not take you there. read more

SO FRUSTRATING!!! The gps will take you to the truck enterance, but customers have to enter off of Bailey. Huge industrial area made it extremely difficult to find. I paid to overnight my package because I needed it next day. I wasn't home when they attempted delivery (because I work during the day like most people...) so they told me I had to wait till tomorrow. I called the customer service number because I opted out of the signature requirement on UPS mychoice so they should have just left the package. Turns out they didn't link the package to my account and they had no explanation why. I was then told that I could come to the customer service center downtown to pick it up between 7 and 8pm. I get here at 7:20pm, thinking I'll be in and out with my package, only to find out that the delivery drivers RETURN to the facility between 7 and 8pm and my package can arrive at any time during that window and they have no idea how to find out when the driver will arrive. You would think the woman who called to tell me when to arrive would have told me that I had to wait for the driver??? It's very frustrating when you pay extra for express shipping and then UPS delays what should be a simple process read more

UPS in Buffalo is terrible. In the last few weeks UPS lost a package of mine in its Buffalo distribution center, and never found it. They give scant feedback about lost items, and it took almost a week to get a response from them. The next package I was supposed to receive from UPS was first listed as delayed due to severe weather in Buffalo (this was during a stretch of 70 degree and sunny days). After inquiring about the package, I was told it would be out for delivery in a day. Instead, UPS rerouted my packaged from Buffalo (about 7 miles from my house) to Syracuse (which is 300 miles from my house). UPS is Buffalo is horrible. read more

Definitely not satisfied! They claimed on their package track web that they delivered my package to a nearby access point. I found this until I checked the website, they did not leave me even any notification.... When I went to that access point (On willow Ridge Dr). I waited for around 10 minutes until someone lead me to the back to look for my package. Unfortunately, the package IS NOT THERE! I called UPS, and one representative told me go the same access point to pick up the package. He was sure that the package was there and asked me to go immediately. However, I was told very impolitely that the package WAS NOT THERE, AGAIN. The next working day, I waited at home for the whole day for them. Up to now, they still did not come. The representative told me they will come between 1:00 -2:30 pm. It is 3:00 now... I called them again, was told the package will be delivered by the end of the day. My whole day wasted on waiting for them!!!!! THEY GIVE ME THE IMPRESSION THAT UPS IS RUN BY SEVERAL BATCHES OF PERPLE SEPARATELY AND INDEPENDENTLY. 1) THEIR WEBSITE SAYS THE PAKAGE IS AT A NEARBY ACCESS POINT, BUT NEVER FIND IT AT THE POINT 2) THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME THE PACKAGE WAS FOUND AT THE ACCESS POINT FOR SURE. The customer service here is GREAT. They are very helpful and open to giving you information that is going to help you when delivering and receiving packages. This location must be their main facility because it is huge! I have been consistently missing the arrival of a package and they worked with me to make sure I didn't miss it a fourth time. The only downside is that they don't know an exact time of when the trucks are going to return. read more

So the UPS driver was being poopy, and decided for some reason that my neighborhood was too dangerous to drop off my package, or something. I'm not entirely sure why. Anyway, I was able to get UPS to hold my package at this customer center. It is pretty gigantic, located in Buffalo, with a slightly funky turn off of Bailey Avenue. The center itself is kind of overloaded with stuff, so it's a little messy and disorganized, but the line moved pretty well, and the customer service was top notch. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Delivery guy showed up and parked at the road, he was picking up an amazon return. I went out to meet not realizing he had gone to my side door. When I went out mt friendly dogs came with me and went to greet a man who I didn't realize was at mt door. He picked up my lawn chair and hit both of my dogs in the face. When I told him not to hit my dogs, he told me "I don't care get them away from me". Never took the package or did his job. I called the 1800 number immediately and was told I would get a call back from local office within the hour, that was 3 hours ago. I am extremely displeased with the quality of delivery to our business. The week before last I spoke with someone and that person indicated the he/she would have the local office call me. Within five minutes I was contacted. My complaint was that the newest delivery people, contrary to last woman who was exceptional, just leave the packages outside. The local woman promised she would speak to the delivery people. I was away last week, but the office was open. Apparently the drivers do not care about the need to deliver inside as the last package which arrived on 3/29, tracking number 1Z109 OEO 43 6515 5664 was just left outside on the ground. Except for regular drivers the other drivers are lacking in concern about the security of the packages; this has been an ongoing problem for years and I am totally frustrated! Absolutely dissatisfied. I was waiting for a package Friday 7/3 with Fourth of July accessories. I was told drop off could be anytime from 8am-8pm. Mind you, I chose the specific products that would be delivered on time. I left my house around noon and returned home at 4:00pm with a note on my door saying that the delivery attempt was made at 9am, which completed coincides with the text message I received saying that a delivery attempt was made at 1:10pm and no one was home. I didn't leave my house until noon, so why would the delivery guy say he came at 9:30am on the paper they left? No one knocked on our door nor rang the doorbell anytime that morning - mid afternoon. I called the UPS 800 number, gave them my tracking code and was told that I was able to pick it up. They just had me call the Bailey location where my package would be held. When I called I was informed that I can pick up my order which consisted of 4th of July things from Amazon, as I mentioned, that night (July 3rd) between 7pm-8pm. I called the Bailey location AGAIN on my way down there to verify this was still okay. As it is a 30 minute drive from my house and when I put the name in Google to look for the address it said they closed at 7pm. They said yes and pickup is opened 7-8. I walked in at 7:10pm, waited in line, and gave them my ID and slip the driver left at who knows what time. There were 3 workers standing there, one of which I presumed was a manager. He said "this is one of them" and walked away with the other man following when he looked at my slip. I was then told by the female, that they left to deliver me the bad news, the driver already emptied out the truck. I said "okay", confused as to what that meant. She proceeded to tell me I won't be able to pick up my package until Monday. She said the driver unloaded the truck, put everything on a forklift, then onto a conveyor belt, and my package would be impossible to fine. (I even asked if I could look for it). I think it was beyond rude for the two other workers to walk away after saying "this is one of them". THEN to top it of, as I'm standing there in dismay, I am told by the worker "well you can always wait until next year to use the 4th of July things you purchased". I said you minds well return the package to Amazon because there's no point anymore. She then said she'd take down my cell phone number, said she was there until midnight, had a lunch break at 9pm and that she'd TEXT me if she came across my package. Which of course never happened. Am returning the package to Amazon. Very disappointed. read more

My experiece with this center was bad, I asked to speak with a manager, and I got Jermery not a manager who said I will start first, he then went into a rant about our senior building at 245 Elmwood Ave. After he finished his diatribe,He then told me I had one munute. He hung up on me. because he was so busy. He has no customer service skill and give a great company a bad reputation. This UPS is Niagara Falls NY Military Rd in the Wegmans Plaza.I was shipping to their address for years and willing to pay their excessive dollar a day late pickup fee.But giving a email notice at 4pm in the afternoon then charging me an extra dollar the next day is rape.Coming from Canada I expected the next day to be a 5.00 charge based on the late email.But the smart ass young male clerk charged the late pick up fee.
