UPS driver pulled up to my driveway, and crashed to pieces $1000 glass door. Left hundreds of pieces of shuttered glass on my driveway and left. I have called UPS customer service 3 days in a row. Each call took about 1 hour, and every time I called, they promised to send someone to clean up the driveway. That never happened, no one ever showed up. read more

Tried to save some travel time by using this location to send out some of our Olive Oils to Florida. This is something I readily do a couple of times a year, however, I usually use the Customer Care store in Boston (Summer Street). Upon entering I observed a senior staff individual (named Charlene) in the midst of training a new employee. Demeaning and abusive rhetoric could be heard, embarrassing everyone present! Now the attention was on me! I had a heavy (ie. 70 lbs. box) which Charlene was just not that enthused about accepting. Also, this was very close to "Closing Time", 11:30 in the morning, ridiculous hours)! I was badgered repeatedly about my packaging to the point that I left the building. You call this Customer Care? Please, you've got to be kidding! Charlene should get a nice job in an all night gas station, inside a little glass booth where she doesn't have to deal too much with the concept to Customer Service!!! Louie L. read more

UPS Customer Service has gone way down hill. Both corporate and the drivers. I had a package that was picked up & labeled by the UPS driver. 1.5 weeks later it got returned to me from US Postal Service (USPS). I believe the UPS sticker fell off somehow, and the original delivery sticker (from USPS) was underneath and caused the package to be returned to me. Anyway, I have been calling UPS for two weeks to try to get it resolved.. Firstly, The 800 # is so difficult to use and get connected to a real person (I had to try 3 times because the robot could not understand my tracking # and continued to ask me to call back when I had the tracking number. Finally, I got through to a real person and they transferred me to my local UPS office (not store). The first day, I was told the UPS driver would return later that day to pick up the package, he never came. I had to call the 800# again and customer service would call me back. I did recieve a call back at 6:30pm on Friday (UPS does not work on weekends) and the gentleman said the driver would pick-up the package on Monday. The driver showed up and had no label for the package, so he left. I called the office to ask how to get a label and spoke to Gloria. She was very rude and unhelpful. She could not understand what happened and could not get into her computer system. She put me on hold and I was on hold for 10 min. I hung up and called back, she said she could not help me since her computer was down & told me to call the 800#. I explained that I had already called them twice and they just transfer me to you. I told her "this is not good customer service & why doesn't she call me back when her system is back up. She put me on hold again. This time I only waited 4 min and hung up. It was apparent she was not going to help me. I tried to call back three times and just got a busy signal. I used to love UPS and my local drivers. They were always so nice. I even had a nice relationship with them, like in the old days (70-80's) when you would have that special relationship with your local postman. In the last year, I have had several drivers deliver packages (I order a lot on Amazon). The drivers are also getting ruder with no concern for the customer; they just want to pick up and run. It seems UPS has cut back on their employees to save money and asked their employees to do more. Just like all corporate these days. No concern for their employees, just the bottom line. read more

I can't believe it is not possible to pick up a package at the local sorting center until it's re-scheduled delivery date. Instead, it has to sit at the sorting facility 5 days! That's right, my package was shipped 3 day select on the 9th and received at the sorting center last night, but I have to wait until Monday to get it. Horrible! read more

I was returning door and window sensors to Amazon and the person took my package and heard a little movement in the box (the sensors were packed in their original boxes so boxes in a box with bubble wrap) and she ripped off my labels, cut open the box and tried to hand it back to me to repack it. read more

I don't know what's going on with Chelmsford UPS but deliveries in the past few weeks have been absolutely horrendous. Four times now, tracking has shown arrival in Chelmsford scans on one day, then out for delivery the next day but by the end of the day, tracking shows delayed due to "weather or natural disaster" and neither of those conditions is remotely accurate (especially the natural disaster!). On average, it's been taking 5 to 6 days for packages to finally arrive. And one item arrived damaged. It had clearly been repacked at some point because the label was badly damaged and it had been taped onto a box that was in pristine condition. Finally, I just checked the tracking on another package that was supposed to deliver today (12/13). Tracking shows an arrival in Chelmsford scan yesterday (12/12) and the estimated delivery is Tuesday, 12/24! If it takes 12 days for them to deliver a package that arrives in their facility to my home that is less than 5 miles away, Chelmsford UPS has some very serious problems. I work for UPS in chelmsford, MA. This employer has been a nightmare since day one. Broken promises and contracts doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of the issues myself and my fellow employees face. We are expected to come in 2 to 3 hours early, and stay 1 to 2 hours late- all with little (10 minutes) to no break. My paycheck has been incorrect about 75% of the time, as have my fellow employees'. After having had my paycheck cut $200 two weeks ago, this week I had $420 taken out and was told it was the union, yet when I spoke with the union they confirmed they have NO access to my paycheck, and UPS is withholding at least 100+ workers checks this week, two weeks before Christmas, while giving no explanation or notice that they would be doing this. I have received no call back, no help, no information, and every employee who came in after working over time all week were told they HAD to continue working or they would lose their job. On top of these issues I have witnessed supervisors ask TWO separate employees if they are taking psychiatric medication, which is illegal and discriminatory. There are 4 to 5 supervisors in each area at a time, and every single one themselves, seem to have psychiatric issues, specifically bi polar disorder. The supervisors they have hired are all underqualified and are in over their heads which leads to numerous issues. No one is ever on the same page, the supervisors are borderline abusive to employees when their stress levels are high, and they clearly cannot manage the stress which leads to everyone in the workplace being on edge, because you never know who will blow up at you that day, or for what. Overall, UPS seems to either be in way over their heads, OR are intentionally taking advantage of their employees knowing we have no way of advocating for ourselves, as our supervisors ALL claimed they had nothing to do with our paychecks being taken away for "the union" read more

Ordered christmas gifts for my grandsons. Shipped UPS 12/18. Made it from Livonia, MI to Chelmsford MA on 12/20. Instead of being shipped to my house in Revere MA. It was sent back to original location. Now its on its way back and wont be delivered until 12/28. Despite UPS admitting it is their error they have said that they can not help me receive my order by Christmas. Poor customer service. I will try to avoid UPS in the future. read more

This UPS location is the worst ever, anytime my package reach this location i have to wait 7 business days or so, i don't know what is going inside, but it seems that they are super messy or slow, so many complaints on Google too, why you keep my package for one week with you? With all the terrible weather this past week my package has been delayed on multiple occasions, completely understandable. However, when attempts were made at delivery someone was always home and yet a notice was left each time. I would like to know whether these people know what its like to KNOCK. I live in a very small apartment and would be able to hear from any room in the place. After the second attempt at delivery I called to figure out another delivery option because at this point it was well over a week since my expected delivery date and no longer wished to wait. The service member I spoke to was very rude, and unaccommodating. My only option was to drive the 45 mins to the service center to pick up at the ridiculous hour of 8:15 pm, what is that garbage? After I expressed my frustration at the entire situation, she hung up. I soon after received a call saying it "disconnected", complete bullshit you know when someone hangs up on you. I am 100% dissatisfied with this entire shipping experience, will use other shipping options in the future. read more

My package was suppose to be delivered by last friday before days end, no dice...then it was moved to a monday delivery time, no dice, the driver apparently can't read address labels, and said the wrong apt was on the label..I've purchaed many items from this company before, and they always use the same address...I guess this driver must be short sighted if he can't even read the address...I needed that package for tonight, but no dice again ...after waiting on hold for half an hour, they assured me it would be delivered tomorrow, Tuesday by days end, and made sure the address was right for the blind driver...If I don't get this by tomorrow, I'll really write a bad review...I was disgusted by their lousy service, after not having a problem before with it...they said I could pick it up in chelmsford Mass...which I refused to do, as it's their JOB to deliver pacjkages, not mine...I'll pick it up, for 40.00 dollars an hour, and gas money if it isn't here by tomorrow...OH yeah, they tried to blame the shipper, whose been using the same address for years...Isn't it funny how things are today; everyone wants to play the blame game, meanwhile, I still don't have my package....If it's not here by tomorrow, UPS has lost not only me, but many other people I know who do a LOT of business with them tomorrow...I was told someone from the chelmsford Ma facility would call me to make sure it got here tuesday...I'm still waiting for the call, and just checked; they closed 2 hours ago...what a joke...If its not here Tuesday I'm going fed ex after this...BTW, I'm not from San FRancisco like it says, I live in Massachusetts...Maybe the guy's driving around san francisco trying to find my address in Mass... read more
