The ladies here were super nice. Unfortunately, they seemed il-trained, and could have used about 10 more people. All I wanted to do was pick up a package that had needed a signature. I was told to come between 7:45 and 9. I got there at 7:30 and left with my package at 9:10. Not exactly how I wanted to spend a good chunk of my Friday night, but hey, at least I have my package for the weekend. read more

I'm honestly trying to figure why one of my packages just went from one distribution center 15 minutes to the South of my town and next thing I know is the package is 15 minutes North of my town at this Franklin Park one. They had to DRIVE THROUGH my town to get to the Franklin Park one. Also, how do you get the package at 1PM...still have 6+ hours to deliever it and go, "eh, nevermind we won't deliever it right now." This 1 star rating is for the Delivery truck driver, I was expecting the package at home by the door all morning, since the last 3 times I had something coming never arrived and I always had to go and pick it up at Franklin Park, this time I saw the driver, he never stopped, he actually just drove away very fast, and looking in the ups tracking system, he put 1st attempt ??? what, but he never stopped, I was there by the door, and then the system updated the delivery date to the next day? please do something to change those irresponsible drivers, because it seems like they're getting worse!! read more

The ups driver sat in front of my house for 30 minutes. The delivery driver never exited the truck to try to deliver my package. About 3 hours later I got a text saying Redeliver the package and then it dawned on me that was my delivery attempt. I called customer care and all they could say was that the driver thought it was a 2 flat. I live in a single family home with one outside front door. There are two mailboxes because my landlord has her own mail box. The mailboxes are clearly labeled with are names. If the deliver driver would have exited the truck to attempt to deliver my package he would have seen the names. Ups was no help. I missed work to get my package. Now they want to redeliver I don't have time there is no one at my home to get package and I asked for a deliver time UPS Manager in Franklin Park said thetre is no designated time. read more

Terrible shipping center... I ordered a package which was suppose to be at my house yesterday. On the tracking number it said it was out for delivery which was never delivered. This morning I check the status and its In Transit. I call up customer service and ask them what is happening. They tell me it is lost and that I yes I have to contact the company to see what they want to do. They get paid for shipping and handling! THEY SHOULD BE DOING THE WORK FOR ME. So thank you UPS for your great customer service like always. Worst center in the state. read more

HORRIBLE. The absolute WORST customer service I've ever received and UPS should be embarassed. Driver (Dave Baker) a) does not leave my package on both occasions that I sign the infonotice, but on the third attempt when I am home, he doesn't even ring me, just leaves another InfoNotice. I go to the UPS facility in Franklin Park and the lady (Mary, nicest person I had any correspondance with) tells me this driver has had several complaints and to call a number to complain. I do, and I get Vera who proceeds to tell me I can try tracking down the driver to get my package. Yes, I can hunt down the guy who didn't do his job and waste 90 mins of my life to get a package I paid to have shipped to my home. Upon hearing he didn't ring up to my unit, she says "I'll ask him if he did"...um? Hello? Customer is always right? She's basically accusing me of lying. She defended this driver through and through and even said she has never had any complaints with him. When I informed her that another worker gave me his name and explicitly told me he had received several complaints, she simply rushed me off the phone--but not before adding that 'calling the 1-800 number wouldn't do any good because any complaints would come right back to her.' I will ask anyone who ships me anything to avoid UPS for the rest of my life. read more

I have to give this review one star because they have a no star rating. I sent an extremely important and valuable package from Michigan to Harwood Heights from our local UPS where the staff is wonderful to work with and know their customers by name. The package was shipped next day air required a signature at pickup and delivered at the destination at 9 a.m. There was someone home to sign for it but there was no package delivered or signed for so I proceeded to make no less than 25 phone calls to customer service who were rude, to say the least telling me that they could not find the package and it was not their responsibility, laying the blame on everyone but themselves. After a very long emotionally angry day I told them I had the confirmation right in front of me and like all the other people I had talked to said it would be Monday when before they could look into it. It turns out that the driver told his boss or whoever cleans their cages that it did not require a signature and left it on the floor outside the door. I was livid I called them back and was told the same lame ass story I had heard all day. I was finally able to get a notice that the package was found and had been delivered without a signature to the wrong address. When the package was opened by the rightful recipient there was a significant amount of currency and important legal papers that my husband needs and still needs at this writing to leave Abu Dhabi after a long work project.Needless to say, I was and am livid, I called customer service again and was told once again the driver was not at fault. I truly wanted to reach through the phone and shake the shit out of the person on the other end, they have no compassion, rude and don't really care about anyone or anything but kissing ass to keep their jobs. After 27 years of doing work related business with this company will never use UPS again.I have a lawyer looking into this and I will file papers against the company and all who are involved in this sorry ass company. read more

Pathetic! This "customer center" is made up of liars and idiots. I had a package that was being delivered, or so i was lead to believe, for New Years Eve. I have infonotice from UPS saying that the first attempt was made, which it was NOT! I was inside the apartment all day, and the phone never rang once. I found the BS notice stuck to the mail box saying that they had been there not 20 minutes before, so I called the customer service center. They said that they would have the driver redeliver the package THAT DAY. So, I waited. and waited. and waited. I called again at 4, and they told me it was still going to be delivered and that if I didn't receive it by 7 pm to call back. I called back at 7, and 8, and 9 and was told that at 9pm the driver was still out on delivery and might drop it off yet. Seriously? Was the tooth fairy going to come with the driver, because it sounds like a fantasy to me. So, they either blew off my initial call and lied when they said the driver would come back, or the driver is so lazy that he decided that he didn't have to do the second attempt that day. I have received NO customer service except for them to sadly complain to me that there is "nothing that they can do", which is entirely obvious and redundant of them to say. If they could do anything, they would have managed to pull it together enough to get the package here on the first try. How hard is it to use a call box to ring up my apartment? And for any other dissatisfied UPS customers, don't bother calling the customer service number, the center isn't located in the US! Supposedly, I am going to have a "supervisor" call me on Tuesday morning. I'm not holding my breath for that, I'm just going to switch my business over to FedEx. They seem to be able to get the job done. read more

I have never been treated so bad in my life. I can't even believe this even happened to me but anyway my package was suppose to come today. It wasn't coming so I checked the tracking and they said they tried to deliver but I wasn't here, which wasn't true so I went downstairs and there wasn't even a tag so I know they weren't really here. I was mad cause I waited all day for these people. I call to make a complaint and was told I would be called by Franklin park and they would help me. The man did not help me he kept giving me the run around so I asked to speak with a supervisor and he said OK please hold while I look up your report. He ended up hanging up on me. So I try to call him back I couldn't get through so finally a woman answers without even asking my info she says the guy you were talking to just left. So I tell her I want to speak with a supervisor and she says I am a supervisor. I had a feeling she wasn't so I said well can I have your name and talk to someone else she said no and started to get rude so I ask her what exactly her name is and position cause I was going to call corp. We hang up and a couple minutes later she calls me back mocking me saying what's your name whats your position and laughing at me. I was like really your suppose to be a supervisor and you are going to call me back to laugh and mock at me and try to fight with me over the phone. I am in shock that a company that is suppose to be good would have employees like that. I can't believe she called me back to fight with me. Never again will I do business with UPS. read more
