Excellent shipping location. Packages go straight from the counter to the plane. I've never had a bad experience here.

I would totally live here…read more And who knows? With the way things are going now, I just might. I wonder if I can get wifi inside the unit? There's both a comfort and a sadness in a knowing that all of my possessions fit in a 10x10 box and I'd still have room to do jumping jacks in the space. Indoor, outdoor, climate control -- you name it, they offer it... and they do it with a smile, which is totally what I needed yesterday. So, after a what I'm trying to tell myself was just a small tragedy, a need for a larger storage unit came into play. I already have one stuffed-to-the-brim storage unit at a Public Storage facility that I'm exactly thrilled with. That facility is all outdoors, not climate-controlled, pretty dirty, seeing monster spiders and rat-traps in your unit is a regular thing, when I got the unit there was a giant hole in the drywall, and it's just an awkward shape that makes it very difficult to maneuver around all my work crap. Oh, and I've sliced my knuckle clean off TWICE trying to open their rusty locks. No bueno. Anyway, when this need to relocate many of my things arose, I immediately thought of Uncle Bob's, a place I'd actually been meaning to check out since I'd ridden my bike past here over the summer. I looked them up on Yelp shortly after that, saw that they had a nice move-in special, and their price for the same size unit as I currently hold at a Public Storage was only a few dollars more, plus these units are immaculate, the doors are larger so I can move larger things in and don't have to suck it in as I try to maneuver my way around pillars of old work boxes. I was lucky enough to come in a day that a friendly guy named Jim Allen was working. He's an older guy with a grit in his voice that's similar to what my Grandpa's was like, and I like that a lot. Jim was the MOST helpful person ever. So sweet, so patient, he took me to every unit that fit my size requirements and based on all the items I told him I wanted to store, was able to convince me to go down two storage unit sizes from what I was planning on getting, thereby saving me a bunch of moola. I can't thank Jim enough. He really saved me. Walking around the facility with Jim, you could tell they put a lot into making sure their facilities are top notch. They actually know their customers by name and you get the mom and pop feel to it, only there's no low-budget vibe from any of their units. Honest to god, when Jim was showing me the units, I felt like I was in a movie where a high-end realtor is showing me some fancy NYC apartment -- that's how nice this place is. I was especially impressed with how some of their building had full load-in garages that could fit 6 cars so you don't have to load in the cold and the elements, you just pull into the garage and close the door and you're safe and sheltered. The lights are all set to motion detectors so you'll never be left in the dark and each indoor building comes equipped with multiple flatbed dollies that are free to use at your convenience. I know storage units aren't the most riveting thing, but I'm beyond sold on this place. I wish I knew more people in need of a great storage unit place because Uncle Bob's deserves all the accolades I can give. Oh, and I have to give one more shout out to Jim at the front desk because he was just so kind, despite my continually having to correct myself after calling him 'Uncle Bob' no less than infinity times while walking around with him.
