I've used this location a few times and I've never had any issues with what I've needed. But I felt compelled to write this review after interacting with and observing the employees when I stopped in this morning to send out a package. It wasn't too busy, just myself and two other customers. There was a man and a woman working (same gentleman I've interacted with the last few times I went). He warmly greeted me and then apologized since they had a power outage in the morning so the systems were running a little slow. While we were waiting he noticed the guest behind me and helped direct him on where to place the package he was sending. He also assisted his coworker (not that she needed it, per say, but it helped keep things running smoothly). After that the computer was ready and he scanned my package. He was very efficient and made sure that he was using his time wisely. I also observed the woman helping the other customer while I was waiting, and she was very detail-oriented and professional with him. While I was leaving, the gentleman gave me a friendly goodbye which felt very genuine, and I left the store actually feeling better and had my day brightened up. Can't say that about many places these days, so big thanks to them for being so great! read more

Always super nice and very professional!! They're lighting fast at getting you taken care of too which is nice. The value is good even beating the post office sometimes but definitely better for shipping random or super heavy stuff. Basically any service need I requested in regard to shipping wise always handled well. I also appreciated the owner telling me when the post office picked up their packages so I could make sure to arrive earlier so it gets shipped same day as opposed to next day or later. UPS is generally good but my experience with this location was not great. I was returning an Amazon package and there were two separate boxes in the return. They told me I had to put them in one box. I told them I was not aware as this was clearly not in the instructions. They said I could tape them otherwise but like most other people I don't just walk around with a shipping tape and I told them I didn't have one. Their suggestion was that I buy a new tape from them. Why would I but a tape just to tape two thin boxes, probably to use 10 inches of tape? They were not helpful and I had come all the way to ship this. I will not return to this location. read more

This UPS store is located in small little plaza off of Dempster and Ferris, next to the Avalanche bubble tea place. They offer various shipping and delivery options available, and the staff have always been super friendly and super efficient, making the lines move quickly. I've been here a few times to drop off packages, and getting it scanned and receiving a receipt doesn't take longer than a few seconds! I love that they opened on Sundays! Glad I came to return some Amazon items here. I felt at ease knowing my items would be returned and they were very patient with me knowing I had multiple items. For an additional price, I was able to pack my items with tape (starts at $2) and they were able to print the address/label by sending them an email (additional $3) which was very helpful. Tuesday I sent 2 one pound boxes of Frango Mints to my Bro in Issaquah WA & Sis in Long Island NY. I got sticker shock when they told me it was over $46 dollars for delivery next Monday. Not even over night or next day, 4-5 day delivery? You have got to be Effin kidding me $46 dollars. I guess it's been awhile since I sent a package. For the Yelpers out of state Macy's in the Chicagoland area use to be Marshall Fields & Frango mints are a product of Marshall Fields that they continue to sell in select regions of the country. I usually go to this UPS store at a time of day when there is a big black guy (an actual African African American) with a great accent who is the nicest, most helpful UPS person I have encountered. Today, I went at a different time, when a black woman, with the same beautiful accent, (also African, but acting more American) refused to help me secure the box and place a label after she assisted two customers of color before me, but when I presented myself and need, she outright refused, changed her kind tone to "cold as ice" along with her body language and proceeded to tell me I need many more layers of tape than she would give and refused to allow me the use of the tape gun or tape to secure the label to the box. Her opinion overrode the intended outcome; to simply tape a label to a box and drop it off so they could ship it, like the two customers before me had JUST done. She let the two people of color use it before me, but when she saw this old white guy (veteran with a smile), she shut down like a light and when the two customers had left the store, she was outright racist in her attitude. Now, I come from a mixed marriage, so the level of disappointment could probably be measured in shades. Avoid this place unless the big black guy is there. He's the best, she is an ass, whatever color or origin she is. Stupid is as stupid does. She was stupid. Life is too short. I went to another UPS place and they did the right thing. Avoid this UPS employee if you are WHITE. Store cancelled. read more

The Morton Grove UPS Store is located in a small strip shopping center on the south east corner of Dempster and Ferris. Off-street parking is available directly in front of the store. I have dropped off several items for shipping and the service has been prompt and friendly. The same young woman has helped me every time I've been in the store. She is always in company of a large, friendly dog. read more

I went to this store to return a package to Amazon. The salesman asked me if I wanted to purchase postage stamps; I wasn't even aware they sold stamps and was happy to hear they did so. I was not told there was a $3 upcharge for a book of stamps; due to this, I purchased more than 1 book. When I realized I was ripped off, 2 days later, and wanted to return the stamps (still in their orignal package & untouched), I was told I could not return them. There was no mention made of this to me when I purchased them nor was there any signage about this in the store nor on the receipt; despite what management says. Please beware....There are many other places where you can purchase a book of stamps at the same price charged at the post office. CVS is a couple blocks away, there is a Walgreens several blocks east on Dempster, grocery stores are within a couple miles & 2 post offices as well. Don't let UPS swipe your hard earned money unless of course you don't mind paying extra. I will not patronize this store, I can't do business with people who are not honest. read more
