Three packages to return to sender. Two were left out for pickup by your driver yesterday, 12/16/2024. The wife thought they were delivered packages and took them in while i was at work. The driver left two "return" labels on my door. I made arrangements with Amazon to return a third package, for the driver to pick up today, 12/17/2024. I left all three on the porch. Your driver, the same as yesterday (as seen on my Nest camera) picked up the one without the label and left the other two! - with labels! Are you kidding me? My brother-in-law and I both used to work for UPS in Hampton, VA and Newport News, VA. Is there no customer service left at UPS? Your driver didn't look like he was overworked at all on my video. UPS Customer Center - Shipping Centers Near Me - Newport News, Virginia

I was Instructed to go to the location Newport News off of City center blvd after waiting 2 full days at home for it to be delivered and no one showed. I was told my package would be held at the location and I could pick it up from 7am to 1pm I drove 45 minutes to pick it up and the location was closed. Had a note on door saying closed on Saturday till further noticed. So I called customer service they were unaware that this location was closed and said it was supposed to be open. Well it's not so now I'm day 3 back at home waiting on my package said it was not held at the location as I was told it would be and that it was on the truck and was a hour from my home. So I rushed back home to wait for them. Mind you the customer service rep said his supervisor would be calling me back also nothing at all from supervisor! I'm going to take this matter to a higher person on Monday this makes no sense so much inconvenience that no one should have to deal with. Not only 3 days of my time but also driving 45 mins to pick my package up and not be able to. Something really needs to be done about this location. Not delivering our packages then having the location closed and not letting anyone know is so unprofessional not good business at all. This UPS customer center clearly hasn't let other local UPS stores know that they have alternate hours recently. I sent my package to an access point instead of my house and UPS failed to tell me that this would add two days to my delivery. When I called the UPS access point they Told me to go to this customer center because they believed it would be open. Hours on Google also said that the center will be open along with the marquee in front of their building, however, it wasn't until you got to the front door that you saw the hot pink sign saying "Closed." This was an urgent package that I now cannot get on time. This center needs to make steps to not only inform other UPS locations about their alternate hours but also to change their hours online and on their marquee as well read more

UPS driver lied twice about my them trying to deliver my package. I waited outside after taking two days off in anticipation of my package. Both times I watched the driver on the tracker get about 10 minutes from my house and put "attempted to deliver, but customer was not home." I called customer service and they told me all they could do was reroute my package. I received an email saying they dropped it at the access point so the next day I went to the access point as they opened and was informed that they had not received any packages. So I went the the UPS CUSTOMER CENTER where my package was being held and they informed me they could not give me my package and I had to wait 2 MORE DAYS to pick it up from the access point!!!! I don't usually use UPS but they were running a promotion offering up to 40% off ground and air rates during the Holiday and the item I sold was listed with expedited shipping. The item shipped out on 12/26 and then a bunch of notes started to appear under the tracking information saying sender (me) had modified the delivery address to this UPS Customer Center. I immediately called UPS and inquired and they told me an employee of mine named Steven Morgan had requested this and I broke the news that I am the only employee of my company and my name is not Steven Morgan. I expressed how shocked I was that a package worth over $2,000 can seemingly be re-routed even after providing a name that wasn't the original sender's. I warned them that it could be potential fraud and they escalated me to a Supervisor who assured me he would personally keep an eye on this and make sure it went to the delivery address *side eye.*. Sometime in the middle of January the package just dropped moving and updating and the last known place it was, was here at this UPS Customer Center. I called and explained that they had probably allowed the buyer to pick it up and now they were responsible for paying me for the lost item because the buyer had initiated a charge back saying they had not authorized the purchase on their card. UPS had tried to re-assure me that having the customer pick the item up from the Customer Care center was better because they have cameras and the customer would have to show ID and sign for it, yet somehow the customer was able to literally walk right out of the front door with the item and the best UPS could do was initiate a tracer to see where things went wrong. So to recap package was sent late December, UPS confirmed they lost it middle of January. For the claims process, UPS tried to deny the claim several times -- citing insufficient paperwork (their own employee had entered the claim and I was never given or sent paperwork) and the second time due to lack of invoice. So I went on the website where the item was purchased and printed out the specs and price and submitted it and they came back with - we'll pay you for the item and part of the shipment but no sales tax. I'm still shocked that THEY can do SO MUCH wrong and then decide to not pay you the full amount that you insured the package for -- silly me, I thought that was the whole point of insuring a package but apparently they get you coming and going, so now I'm losing money because the sales tax was $165. Meanwhile UPS still kept some of the funds from the shipping cost (actual cost was $60) and the buyer that defrauded UPS and his credit card company got a free $2,000 laptop and his money back. Package was attempted to be delivered one time. The. They held it at this facility. Ups call center is out of the USA (shocker). They read a script. No one gives a crap. They transfer you to a supervisor ha, they read a script. Note said it would be delivered next business day. It was not. I sat home all day waiting. Then they said they would try to get it sent out again when they could or I could come get it. I was off if the note had said that I would have drive on my day off and got it. Now I have to take a day off from work to go get it Po wait more and see if this happens again. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. This companies don't care about the deliveries. This is the place I was sent to when I changed addresses and my package could not be delivered. They seemed extremely unorganized and all over the place here. I had a package scheduled to be delivered that required someone over 21 to sign. So I had my mom drive 45 minutes to stay at my home all day so she could while I was at work. She had the front door open so the driver could knock on the screen. The driver never knocked. I checked my cameras to find that he jumped out his truck and automatically put a sorry we missed you sign on my door. He didn't have a package in his hand or anything. I called customer service that assured me I could pick up the package between 3-6 at the nearest center which was 10 miles away from my home. Only for them to call me and tell me it's delayed to come around 8. I get another call about 7:50 pm when I'm 2 miles away saying they forgot To tell the driver to take my package out for pick up and he went home so it's nothing they can do but they can delivery again tomorrow. I told I wouldn't have anyone to sign for it tomorrow or any other day until next week Tuesday. She proceeds to tell me by then they would send my package back. Even though they're at fault.
