I've never been to this UPS center, but I'm far too familiar with the delivery end of things thanks to Amazon Prime. It's ridiculous - 9 times out of 10, they don't ring the doorbell or even come to the door, they just leave the package(s) at the office and leave us sitting at home all day waiting for them! One time, they left a note saying they rang the doorbell and no one answered so they were unable to deliver the package. The office was open at the time stated on the note. The next day - same exact package - they left it in the office without even ringing the doorbell. So why couldn't they have done that the first day? For small items, it's not a big deal - hardly a huge inconvenience to walk around the corner to the office to pick up a light box or three now that I know it's a waste of time to sit there waiting for the doorbell to ring. With larger items or multiple light but bulky boxes, though, it's become enough of an inconvenience that I'm planning to go in to this place and complain in person! We made it a point to be home and within earshot of the doorbell when we were expecting something really heavy... yet the doorbell never rang. Instead, I discovered an 80 lb home gym in the office and as we speak, I've got a 75 lb window AC unit sitting in the office. I KNOW they use a dolly to get it in there - doesn't it occur to these people that someone who *doesn't* have that luxury is going to have to get it out and haul it all the way back to their apartment? It's ridiculously lazy of them not to do their job and deliver all the way to the door, especially for items that will cause the customer a lot of hassle to fetch from the office. FedEx *always* comes to the door regardless of how large or small the package(s) are. I'm not a FedEx fan either, to be honest, as they've banged up packages really badly more than once... but at least they don't leave 75+ lb boxes in the office without even trying to bring them to our door. read more

Whoever wrote the positive review either was paid off for those comments, or has no clue what good customer service is. This UPS location has the crappiest service I have ever experienced. I've enjoyed waiting for their long lunch break to end (2 hrs.)and resume working while I stood outside in the blistering hot sun; I've had the floor manager pass me off to another employee because he suddenly needed to look for a box when I was next in line for service; I've been given a delivery date for a package, only to have it delivered days later - after I arranged to have someone at my house waiting for the original delivery; I've requested a package be held for Saturday pick up, only to have them leave it locked in a trailer and inaccessible over the weekend (wasting my time, mileage and gas for 2 return trips). I refuse to allow any of my future packages to be delivered by this company. They suck!!!! read more

Twice this Center has had one of it's delivery people leave me a note saying that they rang my doorbell when they did not. I have stayed home from work to sign for a delivery and they left a sticky note on the door saying they rang the doorbell but did not. This is really frustrating for the customer because I realize that these folks get behind on their deliveries and in order to speed things up they claim to have rang the doorbell when they did not. It is so inconsiderate when people will cancel their plans and stay home from work and do whatever necessary to sign for a package and the driver does not even give you the opportunity to accept delivery. Then I call domestic customer service and they tell me that someone from Stafford will call me. Never get a phone call. Still waiting. They asked me do I 'want the package held' so I can drive all the way to Stafford to pick it up myself. That will take me about an hour. I don't see where the service is being provided here. And this was supposed to be given expedited delivery. Ridiculous! read more

I am very disappointed with ups after I called them they said they will have to do and investigation which will take 8 buisness days.... on the mean time I'm put of luck and probably will have to wait weeks before I get my refund and re order my item. I was supposed to receive a package on 05/26/17 and I guess i was not home during the time so you would not believe that the so called driver ( monkey brain) had the audacity to just take it back without leaving any sort of notice that a delivery was in attempt during my absence at the house. He could have at least dropped it off at the office as i always receive packages and what other drivers do is just leave it there. Now i have to go to this unnecessary UPS Station and claim for my package and also pay some claim fee. I will NEVER DO UPS again. Just spoke with Peter from the Stafford facility. After having difficulty with UPS delivering several packages to my home, I asked for a call from my local UPS facility. Peter claimed to be the supervisor, but was incredibly, unprofessional and rude in his interaction. After I asked for a manager, he told me to call the 1-800 number and hung up. UPS, get your stuff together and send a manager to this location to "clean house". This location obviously has issues, which starts with management. When your customers pay $80 for overnight air delivery, your staff should be bending over backwards to ensure they accommodate that promise (guarantee means to promise!) to the best of their ability, with or without hiccups along the way. Telling them that it "just missed the sorting process so it won't be delivered today" is unacceptable, especially when it is 2:00pm in the afternoon. Pay someone overtime to keep your commitment! I was told a manager would contact me, it did not happen, I was told it would arrive by 10:30am the next day of which was promised, it looks like that will not happen either since the facility could not verify my package status and now they are not answering their phone. read more

They really don't even deserve one star. I was working out of town. I asked my son to ship some packages for me overnight. He did what I asked, the problem started with the woman in charge, or owner of the satellite store. Instead of combining my three items, one which was an envelope, she shipped everything separately to run the bill as high as possible. Total weight of 3 items was 3.25lbs. Shipment included the following. 2 tubes 2.75" in diameter x 38" long. The other was a plain white business envelope (a letter). To ship all these items overnight I was charged $239.30 First tube was charged at $93.90, 2nd tube was shipped at $78.40 and the envelope, drum roll please, $67.00 If that wasn't bad enough, I was charged additional charges on top of those. Fuel Surcharge was $9.62 Additional Handling was $15.50 That amount alone should have covered everything. and .60 for CMS Processing fee, whatever that is. Now all the above was shipped to zip code 65641. Here's the best part. The UPS woman Dawn at Store # 5793 still charged me these amounts knowing that I would never get them overnight, because UPS doesn't do overnight shipping to this zip code I was told. She even stapled the receipt over the tag she printed that said expected date of delivery was 3 days later. After calling at least 10 people with UPS, including Dawn at her own store. They would not help me. UPS corporate hides behind the store, simply stating that the store is independent and they can't do anything about it. Well, I can do something about it. How about we don't use UPS anymore. In my opinion this was a fraudulent person that would knowingly except money for something that would never arrive in time for the money that was paid, and drive up the price by shipping all three items separately. Regular Ground shipping would have saved me more than 2/3 of what I was charged, and still arrived on the same day at the same time. SHAME ON YOU UPS FOR BACKING HER UP! I will never use UPS again. I'll drive anywhere I have to and find another shipping company. Brown can do nothing for me. I even sent the CEO of the company a message on linked in with no response. In my opinion he is just as chickensh** as she is. I would have expected at least someone from corporate to try and get to the bottom of the charges. At least they are consistent, they all stick together. Hopefully they will all go down with the sinking ship. I use shipping companies often, and have passed them by regularly to spend my shipping cost with other companies. Use at your own risk. UPS is stealing medication shipped to Veteran's. I have been waiting on a package for the past 9 days now in which it was supposed to go from Houston, Tx to Katy, TX. This package has gone to Vernon, CA to Los Angeles, CA back to Houston. My package was supposed to be delivered, AGAIN, last night but now says "in-transit". WTF is this? Now, no one knows how to answer their phones or email. This is ridiculous and I hope the VA stops using a company who employees theives. No one cares about really trying to help and keeps transferring and transferring to other people until you say forget it. I'm not giving up until people are held accountable for this. Make sure if you send anything UPS and it breaks en-route to not throw even a piece of bubble wrap away and definitely not the damaged item even if it is broken and dangerous to handle. They will NOT even consider paying for a claim without an inspection of box, wrapping and item. A picture of damaged item is not good enough for them. I had a very rude woman I spoke with in the claims department which was unnecessary. I have shipped using this same metal, padded professional box with the TV in it for over 6 years and no problem with FedEx. But I needed to use UPS for a Saturday pick-up and had no choice. Drove here on a Thursday from downtown in rush hour traffic to pick up a package that was being held until Friday. After 1 1/2 hours to get there I go in to pick up my package only to be told they had returned it to the shipper. I explained to the girl I had an email that said I had until Friday. She said there was nothing she could do. The entire time she looked at me like I was stupid and a pain to her. No sorry, nothing. If I could I would never order anything from UPS again but that is impossible. Sorry wouldn't have solved the problem but it would have at least been noted that she cares that someone screwed up. I wish I could give no stars to UPS or this center. If you can avoid having your package go to this center...do so AT ALL cost. I shipped a package to my friend (who was 8 months pregnant) and told her it would be there that day so she could stay home and sign for it. It said it would arrive by end of day. I got a notification around 7:30pm that the recipient was "not home" and it would get dropped off at a facility for pick up. I called customer service and they guaranteed it would go back out for delivery the next day and get to her house. Again, the same thing happened the next day. Obviously whoever the driver is for this route is too lazy to drop off her package. UPS IS The worst liars in all of the Houston area must work here. I can't get ahold of anyone, they said the tried to deliver the package 2 times which was a bold face lie. I called them 4 times, have spent over 3 hours on getting my son's cell phone delivered. He has Focal Seizures and we need to be in touch with him when he at High School. Quite possibly one of the worst customer experiences. Expecting a signature required deliver, UPS indicted ETA 11:15 to 3:15pm, driver apparently shows up at 4pm NEVER rings the door bell and slaps a delivery notice and takes off. Center in Stafford supervisor (Amanda I think) says "I'm sure he at least knocked, and he doesn't have to ring the door bell"..... now I have to drive 45min and be there between 7:30pm and 8:pm (30 min window) to pick up myself!!. Terrible! They delivered our stuff last Friday when we were not home and left a notice saying they'll make a second attempt this past Monday again between 5 and 6pm. Guess what? Nothing came til now (today is Wed). I called customer service and they said our package was lost in the facility!!! and the only thing they can do is file a investigation report. UPS' problem solving skill should be better than this. At least they should give me the phone number to this facility if they're not willing to call. I've had by far the worst experience with this UPS. They will lie to you to get you off the phone. I spoke to Mesha, Carlton, and Clarence about a package that was sent to me. My package never made it to a delivery truck because they claimed that my address wasn't in their system. So they looked me up in their system and found an old address and tried to reroute my package to the old address. After rerouting it four times and then sending it back to Stafford they decide to say that I refused the package and didn't order it. This place is ridiculous. I've had packages sent through Fedex and the post office without a problem. UPS's system is garbage. From now on I will avoid them at all cost because they lie and they're too lazy to do their jobs. read more

I was expecting for imported document with signature requirement on Monday, no one was show up that day, on Tuesday the guy just dropped off my package in front door and signed by himself. it was rainy day and all my package include inside document was totally wet .I am leaving in community and I left on my front door instruction to leave a package in the office a 1 building away .What kind of service is that? I ordered two cases of wine from a winery in California. They were shipped to me but were not delivered because a signature was required. First day I got a notice. On the second day another attempt was made, also while I was at work. I called UPS to get the wine re-routed to a UPS store and was told they wouldn't do on the phone -- I had to do it online. So I did --- MyChoice online service. I had one door tag for both boxes so I thought that both boxes would be re-routed with that one tag. Wrong. Today I had another tag from yesterday --- final delivery attempt. According to the tracking online info, they delivered one box to the UPS store and one failed attempt at my house. I called again today and was told my options --- they will not deliver the second box to the UPS store, only my house. They wouldn't even give me a time window! All I can do is stay home from work while I wait for them to deliver the wine tomorrow. I paid $50 for shipping and got this lousy service! Why are we complaining about the US post office? horrible service! I just never expect how much bad service they would provide. I recently moved to a newly built house in a new subdivision. The address is not in the USPS database first few months, so I understand that the drivers can't find the location. I then picked up the packages personally. But after our address is already in USPS database, they still don't deliver the packages because it is not in their GPS system. Fine, I gave them the detailed direction. Also, I see UPS cars in our community everyday. So, I assume everything should be settled. BUT NO. They keep saying they can't kind the exact location. After countless calls in five days, my package is lost! And I have to contact Amazon myself. How ridiculous it is? read more
