WTF???? This place has lost multiple of my packages in the last 6 months!!! I'm sick and tired of their terrible service and being placed on hold for half hour at a time to track my package that they simply can't find. Lastest package I ordered from a merchant online, it shows 11/16 arrival scan, but it's 11/22 and no departure scan? There was a package shipped by my third party vendor with a Business Name, Attn: to Business Person, and street address. The package was delivered to a complete wrong address and UPS refuses to take responsibility for the "drop off". Their customer service (if you can even get a person to talk too) is atrocious! They claim there is nothing they can do! I lost $1,100.00 with this lost shipment. UPS is a horrible company! THEY CLOSE FROM 11am to 4:30PM So drove out here to pick up a package that UPS screwed up and did not deliver to me, drove from the south end of the valley all they way out here about 35 min and come to find out they close their "customer center" from 11am until 4:30pm. Who does this... yup UPS because they do not care about their customers at all. If you are going to close it daily wait until at least 1pm but who closes at 11. I used to think OnTrac was the absolute worst customer serivce but now it is UPS. Afer this experience i will no longer give them my business. read more

I am very disappointed in the service I received from UPS. I ordered a pkg on July 24,2024, it was supposed to be delivered on July 26th, 2024. I have had more date and time changes, and they have not delivered. They say they have a 10 day guarantee. NOT. I changed the delivery address to a UPS drop off because it required a signature, because I would not be home. We tried multiple times to pick up when they indicated, but no luck. 19 days later (yes 19!), they removed the UPS drop off address, and put it back to my home address, and let me know 2 hours before on the 20th day that they were going to deliver it to my home address not the UPS site. I got the sorry we missed you tag on my door. I tried redoing the UPS drop off but it wouldn't let me change it back. I left a note on the door with the tag asking for them to give it to a neighbor or take it to the original UPS address. Today on the 21st day, they left me another tag. After asking for Customer Service 10 times on their pathetic line, I finally was sent to a human, not a computer. I asked to speak to a manager to tell them my frustrations. I have now been on hold for an hour after the start of my call waiting to talk to the manager or supervisor to talk to regarding this pathetic service. I was just told by the supervisor the reason for the 20 day wait, was it was lost. And when they rescanned it in, it took off the UPS drop off facility and put it back to my home address. Now I have to go out to their facility to pick it up. I have never had this bad of service from them before, but this is just ridiculous. I know it is a small package, but it is worth a lot of money, and I cannot get a credit from the company until it is returned. I ended up finding another store that had the item in stock and purchased a new one well over a week ago and had to pay the taxes and fees twice now, which is not cheap. I could have driven to California and back to Utah several times in the time it has taken to get this pkg here. What a joke. Someone at UPS kept my burn stove over the 4th of July! I tracked the package and it was stuck in Utah for over a week. All of a sudden the tracking was falsified to make up a delivery! I never saw my burn barrel I needed before the 4th of July to burn a pile of debris. Thankfully, it didnt go up in flames, yet! It's not easy getting a package back, found or even addressed if a UPS person says it's delivered, your out of luck. I am in awe, in this pandemic time, that some idiot had to take a barrel for their 4th of July & then falsify all this delivery info, risk their job & UPS has no clue that this idiot, that works for them, is a theif & doing this to customers! I paid $30 for express delivery of a $20,000.00 check with signature delivery. UPS lost this package. I paid extra because I needed this cash quickly. Now I don't have the $ I desperately need and when I spoke to UPS I was told I needed to open a claim and it could take up to 8 days for them to start working on it. I then asked for a manager and was placed on hold for over an hour! Yes, 1 hour and 10 min I stayed on hold. I think they were hoping I would hang up. Now I am out the $, the sender of the $ has to wait 10 days to replace it and I'm the one caught in the crosshairs with no recourse. It probably would have made it to me faster via USPS. Extremely poor customer service. But hey, they don't care. They aren't the ones that need that money. read more

I have a problem, none of your phone contacts help at all and all they want to do is hang up and tell me there is no such number for corporate and your company can careless about their customers. I was told today by SLC hub, supposed driver manager to F MYSELF because I asked why the delivery driver has a problem delivering to my house. All of my orders have my full address with my gate code to deliver my packages. Absolutely no other companies like Fedex, Amazon, etc have a problems only UPS. All I asked was why is there an ongoing issue when my acct is updated with all my info and the lady told me to F myself, deal with it and told me if I wanted my package I would have to go pick it up myself then I proceeded to ask for her name and the address and she hung up. There was no screaming or raising of my voice on this call she had absolutely no right to do what she did. This company is a scam. They lose more packages than they deliver. I have never left a 1 star review on anything in my life. If you have the choice between shipping here at a good price or paying an absurd price anywhere else, chose anywhere else. A carrier pigeon would have found my address better than this company does. Well, all I can say, is I used to have a very good driver/delivery person on my route for many years! He was consistent, friendly and always delivered to me on time and to the right address. I am not sure what happened to him. But after about 12-14 years with him serving my route, I think my route is now a training route. I have someone new all the time. They have misdelivered a few times. but the bigger issue is they have left notices to drive all the way to West Valley Postnet (I am in Magna) to pick up a package they tried to deliver after one attempt. Worse yet, it didn't say wait a day or two to go on the note. So both times, I went the same day in the evening. Thinking it would be dropped off after their route. Nope. They don't take it there until the next day. unless it is a Friday. in which case it doesn't arrive there until Monday. They NEED TO MAKE THIS CLEAR ON THE NOTE! I realize they don't care about customer's wasted time, file or wear and tear on their vehicle. But I do!!! Get a grip UPS and do better! read more

I drove almost 45 minutes to get here on a Saturday, rushed as fast as I could, and showed up at exactly 1pm. The UPS employee would not take my package, he said I "needed to be there by 12:45pm". SERIOUSLY! The sign says 1pm. I'm dropping off a package, pre-paid, with a business shipping label! No receipt or anything needed! I don't need to fill any paperwork out, no bill-of-lading. It's on a business account. Just take the &?$@ package! So I look up a UPS store, there's one in downtown Salt Lake City (first time I've ever walked into one). I drove there, and they were more than happy to take the package. Perfect. Their biggest concern was that I needed a drop-off receipt, and that it wouldn't ship until Monday. Nope. Now I'm even farther away because of the person who could care less about customer service! I pay his pay-check by shipping through UPS! Next time I won't be there by 12:45pm, because I'm done shipping through UPS. I've had issues with the pickup drivers too. They work there so long they start to care-less, they start to think you work for them. Nope. The old-boys are just holding out until they get to their years of service for retirement. UPS: train your employees on what Customer Service means, ESPECIALLY at the "Customer Service Center". read more

Say what you want about their delivery service (and I've said plenty laden with profanity plenty of times), but overall they do a good job, for the most part, all the way down to the drivers. At the service center, they have substantially upgraded service and these guys are definitely on it, trying to help. Could it be more streamlined? Absolutely, but they're generally friendly and genial and seem to at least have a desire to be helpful, which always goes a long way. I have no real complaints at all about this and though they are far from perfect, of course, they have definitely improved this area quite a bit. read more

Two different times, I've called in about a problem with a UPS delivery that was never delivered at our home. Instead it was left on another doorstep two miles away. We were never notified by the driver where it was left. (25 barefoot raspberry plants that needed to get in the ground and a $300 family portrait). I called 3 times and was told someone would get back to me about a resolution. Never happened. I won't use any services that use UPS for home delivery any more. Fed Ex delivers to our home as well as other shipping companies including full size semi trucks. read more

I had my daughters prom dress overnighted from California to Utah. Prom is Saturday, so its kind of important that it arrives on time. The dress reaches the SLC sorting facility, which I live only 4 hours away from. Expecting delivery later that day, the dress ends up in Australia. Australia!! I mean, how?! I'm still boggled. Now we don't know if the dress will be here on time for her prom since it's currently sitting on the other side of the globe. Not the first time UPS has screwed up my packages. read more

Picking up a single package, because they failed to deliver two days ago from when they were supposed to. Mornings (opening time) and closings are usually the busiest for these types of companies. I came here close to opening time and it's very understaffed. They only have one person running the counter, and expect a 30 minute wait at minimum. The phones ring obnoxiously to a point where it annoys you, because it's almost-always not answered so if you call this center... you're better off calling the customer service 800-something line or just having it delivered to your location and wait it out. The package I'm waiting for is for my job and they're already late as it is so you can say that I'm under their mercy. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Some packages arrive, others don't, in spite of having the same shipping addresses. Paid for 2 day air shipping for a package with live animals, and it showed up after 5 days with the animals dead. Had multiple calls in between that time frame to find out what the heck happened to the package. Still waiting for them to return the dead animals to the sender and get my money back. If I could give this store negative stars, I would. CALL BEFORE YOU PICK UP YOUR DELIVERED PACKAGE. Please read my review. I had collected money at my office to buy some Halloween decorations for an office party. Our particular section of our office received the theme of "Creepy Carnival", so there wasn't really any decorations for this theme at our local Halloween store. So I collected a bunch of money to buy things online. The package was delivered and then stolen off my front porch. I ordered the stuff again, and I had it delivered to the UPS center. I received a notice by tracking number that the items were at the center/had arrived at the center. It was the day before Halloween, and I had to have the stuff then. I took time off work to drive the 30 minutes to the center. First, I got yelled at by a security guard for not stopping right at the stop sign to the entrance of the center. The security guard was super rude. I had to wait for him to show me where to park. I parked in the row he told me to park in. There is a big fence around where the Customer Service Center is,so I walked to where all the people were walking to try to get into the Customer Center. Again a security guard yelled at me. The entrance to the Customer Center is at the end of the parking lot, information which would have been good to know before I parked my car and started walking. I went into the Customer Service Center. They didn't have my package, had no idea where it was, but yet, I received confirmation that it was at the Center. Another customer had the same problem. And then another customer came in with the same problem. I will have to say the woman working in the pick up area was nice and seemed frustrated the situation itself. By this time, I am in tears. I have taken up money that is not mine to buy something which was supposed to be delivered last week for my office party. It got stolen. Now, I still don't have anything, and it is the day of the party. I was so upset that I went outside the building and just cried and said some expletives, not to anyone, just outside, so an employee called security. Great Customer Service. I might not have been so mad if the tracking number had not stated it was at the Center, if I had not taken time off work and wasted my time and energy on a wild goose chase. HORRIBLE! I guess what happens is packages that are reserved for pick up get scanned in at building A to say they are available, and then before 8 AM the packages are delivered, but not scanned, to the service center, building B. Customers get messages that their packages are at the Customer Center when in reality they are still at building A. I have an idea: Don't say the packages are available until they are at building B, the Customer Center. How UPS should change: 1) don't tell customers that their packages are ready, until they are ready. Half the customers who came to pick up their packages when I was there, left empty-handed. 2) don't have a pick up center at the same place where all the trucks leave for the metropolitan area. I would have been happier going to my local UPS store instead of driving a half an hour to not be able to pick up my "delivered" package. 3) if, because of logistics, the customer pick up and major hub are the same location, have clear signs or, at least, SINGS to direct customers. UPS is waiting for a lawsuit when some pedestrian gets hit by one of their trucks. If UPS has a sign at the end of the parking lot, not by the entrance, for customer entrance, that sign is too late. If customer parks before they get to the west end of the parking lot, they will not see the sign and be confused trying to navigate the fence around the service center. Have a sign at the entrance of the parking lot directing customers. this is not rocket science. 4) the "security" should be trained to treat customers, like customers. The security team acted like I was their subordinate and should be punished for not obeying orders, orders I didn't know existed. Their attitude and rudeness made no sense. I am not trying to be difficult; I just want to pick up my "delivered" package. 5) Basically, rethink your entire operation, seriously. It is a logistic, dangerous mess, and having men in yellow shirts yelling at customers isn't helping. read more

I was having a delivery and 3 out of 4 boxes showed up. long story short. I talked with UPS and told them I was short a box. I was told on two different occasions my package would arrive on certain dates and never did. I was finally going to give up but got lucky and talked with Amber D. In Salt Lake City. She took the time to figure out what was going on and made me a happy person by the end of our conversation. UPS should have more Amber D's. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered 12 days ago. Almost every day I get a notification saying that the driver left the package at the facility because they are backed up and my package takes up more room than others so they want to use the space differently.
