Nadelhaus German Shepherds - Odin's separation anxiety at 14 years.

Nadelhaus German Shepherds

My Nadelhaus German Shepherd, Ripley, is almost three years old. She's gorgeous, healthy, and has…read morea wonderful temperament. She is always up for any activity you wish to engage her in, but she is also chill enough to just hang out at the house and will not drive me crazy if I don't have time to exercise her or stimulate her that day. I started taking Ripley to socialization and training classes at Nadelhaus when she was a puppy. The classes were very helpful. When Ripley was almost a year old, I signed her up for Nadelhaus's board and train for 13 days while we were out of town. She came home nailing basic obedience and had a nearly perfect heel. We were extremely impressed. We continued to reinforce the training at home, and followed up with more training and boarding as needed, and now I have such a wonderful dog who I get compliments on any time we are in public. I take her with me to the bus stop to pick up my daughter and she walks heeling next to me off leash. Even better, her understanding of "Heel" is something I have been able to translate into having her run with me while I bike. Eventually when she has the proper stamina I will take her on trails with me. I also taught her "Leave It" and if I give her this command she will walk right by a cat, squirrel, or bird off leash and stay on my heel. Her restraint and dedication to me is amazing. She has such a desire to please and is so trainable. She is also great with my kids, who were 1 1/2 and 3 when we got her. She plays with them outside and when we bike or play outside she whines and gets amped if she can't put eyes on them. I can release her Heel and tell her "Free" and she will run right over to them. I have no doubt she would handle business if anyone ever threatened them. If you're thinking of a German Shepherd, Traci's dogs, facilities and staff are the best you can get. Your dog will be beautiful, trainable, strong, and everything a GSD should be. Traci, even three years after her sale, still answers my calls when I call with a question. I love being able to board my dog there when I need to and the training has been invaluable. These folks know their dogs and are experts in breeding, training and dog behavior in general.

The puppy's story is not mine to tell, but it's clear that Traci is willing to roll the dice with the health of her breeding program. She remains unbothered. TRACI ALSO MISREPRESENTS XAVIER'S SV INFORMATION. Xavier's official SV (German) registration and the Pedigree Database confirm he was born Feb 12, 2020. Traci advertises him on the Nadelhaus website as being born Feb 12, 2022. By "shaving off" two years, she hides how long he has been over-bred and makes him appear like a "younger, healthier" investment to unsuspecting buyers. Schutzhund Inactivity: Despite marketing her dogs as high-level working dogs, the USCA confirms she has not been active in the sport for 14 years. This inactivity allows her to avoid the rigorous breed surveys and health inspections that active SV/USCA members must undergo.

Our first pup came home with us about three years ago--a male, purebred Shih Tzu with the best demeanor you could ask for. He's been a fantastic family dog and has brought us so much joy. This past November, right around Christmas, we welcomed our second puppy--a Havashu female--and she is beyond adorable. She has beautiful markings, an amazing temperament, and fits perfectly into our family. The two dogs get along wonderfully, which speaks volumes about the care and socialization they receive early on. Daryl and Gwen truly go above and beyond to make sure every person is happy with their puppy and that each pup is loved and cared for like a family member. You can feel how much love they pour into what they do--they are incredibly special people. If you're reading this and considering getting a puppy from them, give them a chance. You will be forever happy with the puppy you bring home Trisha & Nadia

Both are happy, healthy, well-tempered, and honestly my little soul dogs. From start to finish, Kayla was amazing with communication. She kept me updated every step of the way with both puppies, answered every question I had, and made the entire process feel so easy and reassuring especially as someone who wanted everything done right. When I picked up my puppies, I was blown away by how prepared everything was. She provided a full puppy goodie bag with literally everything you could think of: detailed puppy folders with all health records, proof of genetic testing on the parents, family trees, first round of shots, deworming records, and so much more. On top of that, she included treats, puppy pads, toys, and even a blanket with their littermates' scent to help with the transition. It was clear how much care and intention she puts into her dogs. The little Whiskeytown Aussie bag was such a cute touch too. You can genuinely tell she loves what she does and truly cares about the puppies she raises and the families they go to. My experience was so incredible that I've had family members meet my dogs, fall in love, and end up getting their own puppies from her as well. 10,000/10 experience. I recommend her to absolutely everyone. I feel so lucky to have found her and to have my two best friends because of her.

This is a genetic disease that attacks their red blood cells, causing them to be lethargic, throwing up and peeing a copper color pigment. So if you got a Mini Aussie pup from her, litter number : ASDCA-M2503445. Sire: ASDM-CA-1800353, Dam: ASDT-CA-2203436. Date of birth 5/15/25. Be aware of your puppy if you got a puppy from this litter. I contacted the breeder and she hasn't responded. And we inquired about Soli, you can see that puppy on TikTok, but she's going to use her as a mom for a new litter of puppies, she could potentially have or pass on the gene of IMHA, please be aware. Poor Soli can have this illness triggered from her child birth. We didn't know he had it til he got neutered, a traumatic event like puppy birth can trigger it or even pass it on to other puppies. Response: genetics plays a part, I did not say it was a certainty, but their bloodline is more susceptible to this illness. My vet said otherwise, autoimmune diseases, are triggered but they are genetically predisposed.

I was idly surfing the Web a couple of years back, looking at dachshund photos, when I came across…read morea picture of a senior doxie with one of the sweetest faces I'd ever seen. I wasn't looking for another dog -- my husband and I already had three at home that we got from a breeder -- but I knew this dog, Grampy, was meant to be mine. And thus began our relationship with Dachshund Rescue of Northern California, who showed us the joy of bringing an older rescued dog into our lives and the many rewards that rescue brings. After completing an extremely detailed application and going through DRNC's thorough vetting process, they decided we would provide a good home for Grampy. His foster mother -- who herself has become an adopted daughter to us -- brought him over, and he slid effortlessly into our pack and our lives. We enjoyed him thoroughly, but tragically, after less than a year, Grampy developed a cardiac condition that took him from us much too soon. A week or so after Grampy died, though, DRNC called apologetically to ask if there was any chance we'd be interested in another dog; they had an urgent situation with a dog named Danny, who needed a home ASAP. So Danny, another senior, came to live with us. And finally, we took in a foster dog named Murphy, who lives with us now. I swear we meant to find him another home, but he's such a love we ended up keeping him. Through all of this we've gotten to know Monti and Robin, who run DRNC, quite well. They work tirelessly to save unwanted dachshunds, or dachshunds whose owners have died, or lost and unclaimed dachshunds, pulling them from animal control facilities, placing them with their network of foster families, and ultimately finding them permanent homes. They have a deep love for this exceptional breed and are committed to finding a loving home for every dog that passes through their rescue. They know this breed and are a wealth of information on health, diet, and temperament issues. They have a working relationship with a wonderful vet in the Chico/Paradise area and do everything they can to make sure the dogs they place are as healthy as possible. My husband and I are so grateful that my Web surfing that day brought these women into our lives, and we thank them when we can by providing transport, pulling dogs from animal control or owners who can't keep them, and making small monetary donations as we are able. There isn't anything we wouldn't do for DRNC, because there isn't anything DRNC wouldn't do for the countless dachshunds out there who need their help. I am happy to recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation!
