My daughter and I knew the colors we liked, but we didn't have a true vision, and Pat was instrumental in really getting us all on the same page and developing an eye catching and solid theme. We met her, she asked my daughter questions about her interests, and Pat came up with the most fantastic ideas. As a parent, my big concern was "day of." I wanted to enjoy the Bat Mitzvah and not have to come to the hotel to decorate. I wanted to count on someone to do this, meet with the balloon person, flower person, etc, and so I could just show up with my family. PAT did this! She had it all covered, and I trusted her, and when my daughter and I came, all dressed up and came into the room before the guests arrived, we cried! It looked SO amazing, ,it was EVERYTHING we had talked about and MORE!!!! Finally, ,Pat knew that I was on a budget, and when I told her things like, "I'll figure the furniture for a lounge" since I didn't want to pay the high cost she said "ok." I rented 160+ Chiavari chairs for my wedding this past weekend and couldn't be any happier with the…read moreservice and communication. The reception hall of my wedding allowed a 4 hour window the day prior to drop off items and begin setup and their delivery drivers worked with the schedule and was there right when the hall was opened for us to setup. I also only had a 30 minute window for the hall to be unlocked for me the morning after the event for the chairs to be picked up and their drivers worked with my schedule. I was considering renting a box truck to pick up the rentals to waive the delivery fee but after seeing how large the load was and how hard the two delivery drivers worked, the delivery fee was 100% worth it and their two drivers did a phenomenal job. They did not have all of the chairs we wanted in their inventory on my event day so they subleased the remainder from another rental company for a very reasonable fee. They took care of the sublease for the additional chairs behind the scenes and it was so smooth that I wouldn't of have known it was subleased. All of the chairs were a perfect match and made all the difference in the overall setup of our wedding. Huge thank you to the two delivery drivers, they were on time and do some serious work unloading and loading the equipment.

It's like if someone crossed a SkyZone Trampoline Park with a McDonald's Playpen and slapped it with a coat of pastel paint and candy stickers. Sorry, CANDEE stickers. I will say that the prices are very reasonable. $25 buys you two hours of playtime. Grip socks are extra, food is extra, some of the games are extra. And the area itself is impressively clean, especially considering the number of young children traipsing about. On the negative side of things, however, the list is a bit longer. First, there's not a ton to do. Candeeland has limited space to work with and much of it is taken up by sitting areas for parents. The empty space could easily house 2-3 more small activities without sacrificing any existing areas. Still, what activities they do have are pretty intricate, with the multilevel play area having a nice array of padded areas for children to crawl through and a toddler area with nice pneumatic tube setup to delight the young. Next, even though the place is less than a year old, there's already some breakage of some of the area. There's a floor made up of touch screens that displays numerous games for kids to step on a play with. However, it's apparent that some larger kids have smacked a number of screens, causing them to go out or flicker. Which leads to my biggest issue. There are not that many people working here. This means that there are usually people minding the gate and checking if your kid is leaving with the right person. But, there aren't enough people on the floor to ensure safety or police older kids from doing things they shouldn't be doing. Candeeland really is a place that caters to those between 3-8 years of age. Older kids either don't fit on some of the slides or play a bit too rough with the environment. More than once, a screaming 12 year old almost barreled over my kid, knocked her off a slide, or hit her with one of the nerf axes. Sure, they balk when you glare at them. But, they just go back to screaming and thrashing about while their parents sleep oblivious in the corner. So, does my seven year old like Candeeland? Yes, she loved it and wants to come back. Did I like Candeeland? M'eh, not particularly. Still, I'm sure I'll be back eventually...

We had the whole place to ourselves so didn't have to worry about the boys getting split up, or random people being around. We were able to bring in our own food and drinks, and the kids came and ate as they pleased. If I throw my son a party next year, we will likely come back here. It's a 20 min drive from Solana Beach, but well worth it.
