I hired them for my wedding and lets start with the fact that they'll do a trial with you before signing a contract and putting down a deposit; something that's becoming increasingly rare all of a sudden. The trial turned out amazingly!!! I felt like the prettiest version of myself possible! And the best part was, after a couple of minor tweaks, it was even better on the actual day! I hired them to do hair and makeup for me, my mother, and my 4 bridesmaids and every single one of them felt the same way. The stylists were super professional, so sweet, and so careful to make sure we were getting what we wanted and were pleased with the results! Every single one of my girls said how happy they were with how they looked and felt and how good a job these guys did. We all have different facial structures and coloring and hair textures and lengths and they did such an amazing job with everyone. Not to mention how well it all stayed!!! We started hair and makeup at 9AM and the day wasn't over until almost 10:30 PM. Every single one of us looked as fresh at the end of the night as we did when they first finished. And that's despite wind, girls diving under the wedding dress skirt (these things are intense to get into/out of), vigorous dancing, etc. No one had to touch up fly aways, or add in pins later or wipe off sagging eye liner--nothing. (And I at least always have issues with makeup staying on well. Not a single issue this time!) I don't know what they did, or how they did it, but these women are magic. Go to them. Seriously, you will be the absolute 100% opposite of disappointed. Definitely my favorite vendor out of the entire wedding. At some point I'm finding an excuse to go back to them just so I can feel that pretty again.

I learned about this salon from a client at my own job - she is an employee there. I decided to go in and check out their menu of services on my lunch break. Prices seemed reasonable, so I called and booked my appointment. I had checked out all of the stylists online and had hoped to be booked with Kristen M. as luck would have it, that's exactly who I got! She was very friendly and welcoming. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and actually said she was reluctant to do a service until my color grew out, stating it would make my hair unhealthy and she didn't want to be responsible. I appreciated her honesty and concern. I got the best cut and color from her and was thrilled with the price. My color has held up well and looks natural - just the way I like it. Kristen took the time to ensure I walked away loving my look! In observing other stylists while waiting under the dryers, they seem talented, too. It's not a salon with a lot of frills, though it's very clean and inviting. They have a separate nail area. I loved that I could tip on my credit card. So many places require cash tips now. This makes it easy and allows me to tip a bit more generously, as I rarely have cash. They offer coffee, tea, etc. I recently had my second cut with Kristen and was equally pleased with the results! It was also like sitting and chatting with an old friend. She gives pretty awesome scalp massages during the wash, too! They don't hard sell products like many salons I have been to. Brought our teenaged daughter here for a cut and she loved her hairstyle as well! So happy to have found a consistent, friendly, reasonable and exceptional salon!!

Due to some scheduling and traveling challenges over the past few months, getting to Epic wasn't convenient for me, so I went elsewhere for a few trims and and no one had been able to fix my bang fiasco. (See another of my reviews for a different place in regards to this ginormous mistake!) I knew that Adrienne could work her magic and correct the problem, so I made an appointment as soon as time allowed. I could no longer stand my "wings" after living with them for several months and had three failed attempts at getting them tamed. I was almost embarrassed to be going back, but I was welcomed back with a big hug and a stylist that was genuinely happy to see me again! As I expected, I walked out loving my fresh color, and of course, my bangs FINALLY were under control and I really liked my style again!! It was a huge relief. I know that sounds a little dramatic, but have you ever been super self-conscious about something? I feel like the stylists at Epic really take the time to listen to what you want, and get to know both you and your hair before they even take the scissors out.
