By the end of Wednesday, I started getting itchy and broke out in rashes. The big one is on my ribs and the smaller one is on my back. Truly a terrible experience because I'm still orange (it's Sunday), splotchy, and I want to peel my skin off. It's not their fault that I had a reaction, but the lack of support during this ordeal (especially considering I'm the bride and have huge hives on my body during my wedding) is why I give it a 1 star. I was hesitant about going because it had been so long since I had a spray tan and I didn't want to look orange or abnormal during my friend's special day. When arriving, I completely missed my turn, GloGirl is kind of hard to get to. It's in between a gas station and a brand new strip center but the directions I received definitely did help. Stacey was so helpful. Very professional and friendly. I went with one friend and the bride in the bridal party. When it was my turn for my tan, she gave me her recommendations and walked me through each pose. It was like my first spray tan all over again but this time it was the best experience I ever had! Also, I ended up with blotchy and uneven palms, knuckles, and toes, but that was just a result of user error. I should have used much more barrier cream than I thought I needed. Even taking all necessary steps to make the tan last, like great prep (exfoliation, etc.), and moisturizing religiously after getting sprayed, it still only lasted me about four days before it started to fade and look uneven. I think that for $35, it is a good enough deal. If I spray tanned more often, I would probably get the membership, so my tan would always look fresh. The facilities were clean, and the front desk employees were very friendly and answered all my questions. I recommend them!

I got a spray tan in the VersaSpa as I always do for special events (typically at the original location on 59). I waited the suggested amount of time and showered, etc. (this is not my first rodeo) My end result, an orange tan. I later found out this location does not use the Glo Sun Spa proprietary formula and tries to save money using a cheaper formula. I really wish I was notified of this sooner so I would not cringe every time I see myself in photos of a dear friends wedding. At the minimum, customers should expect the same quality across the board at all locations. Highly disappointed.
