I'll say this about La Tortilla Factory tortillas - we cannot keep enough of them in the house. Mass-produced grocery story tortillas are a thing of the past for us, now. Customer service has always been friendly (especially the liberal sample tortillas). If you driving through Winnemucca - this is a must stop. I purchased 4 pre-bagged cookies for $8.00, I picked them up off the shelf all by myself and did not need a bag as these cookies were already in a bag. When it became clear to the cashier that i did not tip her for ringing up an $8.00 order she became visibly and audibly perturbed! I do not feel a tip was warranted for this service or situation! I feel that tip culture in this country has gotten completely out of hand ! Furthermore, i do not feel the reaction by the cashier was warranted in any way ! If i could have brought myself to make a scene and return the cookies I would have ! However, i did not want to be as petty as i had just been treated!
