Well, I must say I was a little surprised, because the restaurant is located inside of a hotel, the best western. I walked in and the hotel is your basic best. Western and the restaurant wasn't very fancy but from there the experience went completely different. I was extremely satisfied with the service, the way they bring out the meat and a hot stone, and you cook it yourself, which for me allows me to cook it very medium rare. The food was excellent. The vegetables and the mashed potatoes were excellent as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

I'm only giving this a 3 stars because one of the servers fixed our bill. We (wife and I) have eaten here a few time since they started the hot stone steak. We really enjoy the experience and the steak is usually pretty good. But seems that every time we visit something is worse than the last visit. This last particular time we ordered the $30 ribeye on a hot stone. I chose loaded mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables the wife get the same potatoes and cheese curds with a $30 steak. We was asked if we would like soup or salad, the wife asked what the soup was then all of a sudden they have no soup, ok it's habit to ask we let it pass. Our sides arrive ahead of our ribeyes, my mixed vegetables were zucchini and squash with mushrooms. The slices of zucchini and squash were the thinnest slices I have ever seen ( Gordon Ramsey would have been impressed with the knife skillz). They were really dark almost burnt looking and the portion was very very small (maybe 4-7 slices of squash and 5-6 mushrooms). We ate it without complaining and enjoyed our steaks. Upon receiving the bill I look at it and there is a $3 up charge for cheese curds, finally I can't hold it in anymore and I asked the server if they really up charged me for cheese curds? And she says yes, I said where on the menu did it say there would be an up charge? She grabs the menu and under the $14 hamburger menu is the up charge. One of the others servers over heard the conversation and apologized and said they would fix the bill only because we had one order of cheese curds. I'm mean I'm already paying $30 for a meal having to have cheese curds because their sides menu is horrible and then being up charged to boot. This was the last time we eat hear, I know there isn't much in town but we will find another place. read more

Worst place ever! I ordered steak bites and it took over 40 min to get them then had to cook them my self , got one water the whole 1hr/30 min. I asked for a refill over 3 times plus another 4 times asking for my sauce that comes on my food. What an absolute let down and waste of money. Save your money !!! read more

First off, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks and appreciation to my server, Kennedy, and the rest of the staff for their professionalism and just being good people tonight. I arrived with just minutes to spare and they made me feel welcome and relaxed. It had been a very long day for me and I am sure for them as well. These are super folks, so appreciate them when you stop by for a meal. One of my co-workers was there the night before and he highly recommended the establishment to me. The food was just as fresh and tasty as you would have expected during the normal dinner hour, but I arrived a little before closing time, which is 10:00 pm. I had the ribeye steak on a stone. It is truly a unique dining experience. The steak comes out raw on a wooden cutting board with a very hot stone in a recess. The steak is seasoned (extra points for that!) and you sear both sides on the stone, then cut pieces and finish them on the stone to your preferred level of doneness. The broccoli was perfectly done and the loaded mashed potatoes were rich and flavorful. The price was very reasonable, too. The ambiance was relaxed and I was pretty much the only person in the restaurant at that late hour. This was my first trip to Price, but when I come back next time I will make sure I have more time to enjoy my meal. Stop in yourself and have a good meal and some great service. read more

Here's apparently what someone thought was a good idea for a business model - let's charge full price ($27) for steaks and have the customer cook it for us and then we can't be held accountable for it or being prepared properly and let's make this an "experience" so they think it's "fun". Yeah, I said absolutely not. I instead got steak strips which they had to make and was told it doesn't come with a side. I ordered mashed potatoes separately so I could create a meal. I wish I could say it sucked after being disappointed about the business model, but they did actually cook it correctly and it tasted good. As I sat and waited to pay, I listened to the table next to me complain about having to do it themselves and struggles they were having with their service. Disappointing is the best word to describe my experience (as well as the table next to me). Cook the steaks for us (or discount it some) and have more attentive wait staff and this place could be decent. read more

I took my wife and mother-in law out for dinner along with my 3 kids. It was 9:30 so I went in alone to ask if it was too late to be served being close at 10. They allowed us to dine. To start I got the surf n turf. 4 strips steak 4 shrimp and 4 scallops. Steak, burned on one side and to much like rubber to chew. The shrimp felt like a plastic like feel that I could not chew and the scallop was sour. Doesn't come with a side so I ordered one. I got loaded mashed potatoes. Dry clump with a terrible cheese I could take off in a strip. 120 bill. They had us pay early due to closing and wanting to rush out. McDonalds would have been a better experience. Not one of us ate our meal because we couldn't! They offered a 40 dollar refund! Will not be going back. Would have received a zero! read more

The service was slow and not very attentive. The salad was cut into giant pieces that barely fit in my mouth and they got my wine order wrong. I ordered white wine and got red instead, they ended up charging me for both. Garlic fries were soggy. Burger was juicy and good. The buffalo wings had soggy skin which sucked because last time I got them they were crispy and delicious. I could absolutely smash a plate of their pickle fries to myself though and their blue cheese dressing is good too. But overall, this place is hit or miss and the food isn't quite worth the wait or money. read more

Had dinner here last night. Moving truck broke down so we are checking out the local food. Went with the ribeye and it was a good piece of meat. You cook it yourself so be prepared as grease will splatter while you are cooking. Service was good and prices were fair $90.00 for two with cocktails. Sides we also tasty. Terrible experience. Waited an hour for a hot stone steak (they bring you a raw steak that you cook on a hot stone) it took 30 mins for each bottle of beer. After an hour we decided to pay for the 2 beers and leave. There was 6 waitresses who said they needed a bartender to bring me a beer because they could not. Quit hiring the 18 year olds Fresh out of high school for waitresses, and actually hire some cooks/ bartenders. The table next to me waited an hour for a steak kabob and 2 sides. He received it and wouldn't eat it. He's still payed for his meal as the waitress said "sorry you didn't like it, maybe order something different next time" If there was less that 1 star rating, this would have received 0 stars. The fact this is called uptown steak house, and when you get inside it looks like a dining hall at the local buffet house. Just terrible read more

For a small town restaurant, they do a decent job. Forest "I believe" was our waitress and she was very nice and friendly. The salad bar seemed very fresh and tasted great. Steak was far from great quality, but still tasted fine. This place probably wouldn't survive in a bigger city with more competition, but they did a good job for Price. Horrible place! Don't ever eat here... False advertising... and actually blamed the driver for DoorDash, which is absolutely ridiculous! The person who said they were the "manager " changed their story repeatedly. First they claimed to be the manager, then they said they were a server, then they said they were the manager of servers, would not help whatsoever and blamed the driver. As you can see by the pictures what was advertised and what was given was not correct or even close to what was advertised. I checked with DoorDash, and verified that I did in fact, order the bone-in wings, and ordered slices of medium rare butter steak, and what I got was a tiny bowl of some kind of cheese gravy with a couple pieces of inedible over cooked meat,, which amounted to maybe a few little nuggets of over cooked meat that I waited all day to eat. (Timed the order to coincide with getting off work and thought I was getting something decent when I got off work), and this was what was brought to me! And the attitude of the so-called manager was... "You'll have to take it up with door Dash, it's not our problem"... Horrible food, horrible customer service, misrepresentation of sad food... Definitely a rip off!... Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Went with rating that we found to be completely wrong! Place was empty and we should have taken that as a warning. Had shish kabob with "everything in them" mash potatoes. Steak was rubber, mash potatoes were no big deal, veggies were tasteless and the potatoes literally had everything they could find in them. All the food was warm at best and when asking for the listed dinner rolls they were hard as rocks, cold to the touch and when we advised the waitress she shrugged her shoulders. We asked to have the bill split between the two credit cards she managed to charge one $8 more then the other and she explained that's what the "computer did." Had to ask four times for the bartender just for a glass of wine (no brand, no taste). She finally came after 40 minutes. And the glass was covered with her fingerprints. I asked for the 8 ounce steak and the mashed potatoes. The steak came at the same time the guys next to me got their meal. I'd been there 30+ minutes before they showed up. They ordered their beer after I ordered my wine. Bartender served them first. My steak was a cook yourself meal (on hot stone).. And apparently I was supposed to also cook the potatoes. They came cold. With cheese that had not melted. Waitress had a bad attitude, didn't check on my water to refill. Didn't bring bill...finally gave up and went to hostess to checkout (which got waitress attention). Would not eat there again. read more

Smelled great coming in, they told us up front they were out of a few things. Then came the realities. 30 minute wait for steak you cook yourself, said they were out of salad, but a salad appeared a few minutes after my steak. Price included steak, potatoes, broccoli, and dinner roll. I ordered 12 ounce ribeye, not too bad, about the same as you'd get at a Sizzler, but much less quality than Texas Roadhouse. Roll didn't come with the steak, I asked about it and waitress said she'd bring it out; never saw it. Near the end of the meal waitress shows up, only time she did unless bringing something. Had to ask for a drink refill and a dessert. 10 minutes go by and I have to ask about the cheesecake I ordered. Waitress said they'd used all the prepared items and they had to thaw mine. Would have been nice to know 10 minutes earlier. Another 10 minutes and waitress comes back and said they had sold all the cheesecake. She was young, but had zero interest in her job or in providing any semblance of customer service. Food was average, service poor. I would not recommend this place, nor will I ever return. read more
