This place is absolutely amazing!!! The service is great, the owner is super cool and is very hospitable They have a variety of drinks that you can order -- from coffees, to their lotus (plant based) energy drinks, dirty redbulls, and you can even stop by and get yourself a celcius or redbull if you're in a hurry, and even some beers/ and as for food, they have a variety of donuts to choose from (and not the basic kind) lol I work nearby so I stop by a few times a week, and always order my lotus energy drink - coke zero with cherry syrup If you're in the area or coming downtown for the festival of lights, stop by and check it out!
Need to change store hours. Came in around 8:30 on a Saturday. The sign outside said they were open, online (Google & yelp) said they were open til 10. The staff was already cleaning up, chairs up, and putting away the donuts. They informed us they were closing. Was really bummed, was looking forward for a donut dessert in the area. We weren't the only ones surprised to see them closed. A few people also came to peek through the windows.
What an amazing find! Have a sweet tooth, need a beer? This place has you covered! Came during the "Festival of Lights" event on a Saturday and discovered this hidden gem. While they offer parking nearby, you were not able to park in front of this establishment during the event. I opt for a creme brulee donut and while it didn't taste exactly like I was hoping, it was delicious, nevertheless. We also ended up getting a pineapple mimosa. It was a first for me and interesting. The have a one-way line in and out, which makes it easy once inside. We are lucky to have stopped when we did as we only had a few people in front of us and then the line grew extremely long outside. There is a rather decent sized patio outside to enjoy your sweets and alcoholic beverages or non-alcoholic beverages. Clean restrooms inside. However, there is no exit outside, you must go back inside to exit. Would definitely check this place out again and if you are in the area, definitely come by and check this place out, they offer sooo much! Staff is friendly and they get you your items efficiently.
Donuts were delicious and tasted worth it for the cost. Prices are a little elevated, but they have unique flavors and donuts are filling. I couldn't the Lemon Pistachio flavor. After a while it tasted too sweet. Service was fast and friendly. It wasn't too busy for a Sunday around 11am or so. The ambiance is clean and it's more of a takeout donut shop. The donuts are big and delicious! They have fun decorations and different themes for the donuts. I love the vibe of the store as well, it was pink and black with neon lighting. They also have cafe drinks and beer which makes it a perfect place for any time of day. The man working behind the counter was very friendly and understanding as we needed some time to decide between all the unique flavours presented to us. I got the pumpkin cream cheese donut and the taste was subtle, i was very happy that it was not an overwhelming taste. It also had the perfect amount of frosting.
Hands down the fluffiest and doughy doughnuts ever! These babies are dense and big, I got half a dozen because my eyes were bigger than my stomach. My favorites were the strawberry shortcake, simply strawberry, and the salted caramel. The creme brûlée was good but the crystallized sugar top was on the thicker side, was hard to bite into. I really enjoyed the strawberry oat milk too, it was creamy and not overly sweet. The jalapeno ham and cheese croissant is also quite huge. I ate it later on in the day and it was super moist inside to the point where it was soggy. However, it was still delicious! We stopped by on a Sunday morning around 8:30am and it was not busy at all but there was just one worker there who was very nice. We were able to walk from the Mission Inn where we were staying, it was only a 5 minute walk. I love the branding and they have fun merch too as well!
The atomsphere and location are great. Indoor and outdoor seating, clean restrooms available for customers only (they will not give you the code, but will let you in), and have unique offerings. I tried the Americano - black - and my daughter & fiance had a Butterbeer Cold Brew which they said was tasty; my Americano was good. We were all very excited to try their donuts. They were below subpar, especially for what we paid for each donut. Pricing ranges from $5 up to $7 per donut. Amongst 10 people - 4 were kids, we still have donuts leftover. They taste baked, not fried and that might be due to their size - they're huge.
What a cool place! The donuts are delicious and super cool looking. We got 2 really good iced Mexican Chocolate coffees since it was 100 degrees that day. The employee was also really nice and helpful. Based on how nice he was and how amazing the donuts are, we will definitely be back when we we're in town to visit. The donuts we got: - Mexican Hot Chocolate - Homer - Nutella - Apple Fritter (not pictured but we want the Peach next time!) - Creme Brulee - Strawberry - Bear Claw
I came to riverside for work and saw this cute place, I went in and it was too cute, pink and everything looked delicious. I got a few donuts that were fresh, they just got it out. It was still warm and moist, and you can taste all the flavors in the donut. I got an ice chai tea latte, with oat milk. Let me just say, for someone who travels for a living and been to all states and countless countries; this was the best chai tea I've ever had. I usually do skim milk but they only have oat or almond milk and I hate the taste of almonds, so I did oat milk and I'm pretty sure that is how I'll take my chai lattes now. I hate coffee but customers there said it was good. They do have several other options in drinks and alcohol. Service was pretty quick and the staff on both days that I went was friendly! Definitely will come back when I come back here.
This place has been on my radar for a while and with a couple of name changes I finally made it out. The inside is clean and well stocked for a Sunday afternoon. The employees were not overly friendly or helpful but they did their job. I ordered the glaze and lemon pistachio. The total was $11. Both donuts were light and large. The glaze was mediocre and nothing special but it didn't taste like a normal glaze donut. The lemon pistachio was not good. Sadly. The lemon icing was too sour and tasted artificial. It was overpowering the entire donut.

Ambiance: parking is the only downside but not enough to take a star away. Inside has a cool vibe, and lots of patio seating. Very modern take, dope spot. Food: so the selection is nice. The appearance of the donuts makes it hard to choose which donuts to pick. As you see from my pics we had a variety. Best maple bacon bar I've had anywhere. Go with that, you'll feel like you've won for the day. My son went with chocolate and finished that super quick but his favorite was the horchata. I didn't tell him the flavor but he identified it as Horchata which lets you know the flavors are there. Old fashioned was great as well. Seems like you can't go wrong with any choice. You do pay a little more than a traditional donut shop but I wouldn't call this a traditional donut shop. It's better. And worth every penny. read more

Been wanting to try this place out for awhile but the hours are terrible. The donuts are definitely huge, a lot bigger than your average donut. I really liked The Homer donut and the fruity pebbles. They didn't have a huge selection. It was morning time before they were going to close so I didn't try anything from the beer menu. Overall it was ok. Their horrible business hours are what keep me from coming back. read more

It's beer and donuts... what more do I have to say. The donuts were amazing! The employees were awesome and very courteous. There's only a few spots to sit inside but there is plenty of outside seating. It's a cool spot to hit up when you're in downtown Riverside. read more

I've been here a few times and I am impressed every time! Friendly gentleman was working this morning very welcoming, I get their cold brew with almond milk 2 pumps SF hazelnut and 1 pump SF Carmel. I am a vegan and it's very hard to find good vegan donut shops around here and THEY ARE IT. This morning I had a vegan Apple fritter and (don't tell anyone) the vegan crème brûlée donut and both were absolutely outstanding!!! Go support your local small business. read more

Had stopped in for morning donuts only and wanted to try them out for a Friday evening dessert and beer outing. Arrived around 6 pm to plenty of close parking and there was no line or wait. The donut case was well stocked. Tried the churro ale and had a butterbeer Harry Potter themed donut. Was able to find a table out on the patio and even though it overlooks a busy street, it wasn't too loud to enjoy a conversation. read more

Worst customer service ever. Don't know the menu. Gave wrong prices. Can't explain Nitro coffee sides and a house "special". Kept saying it's the same price for all the sizes. The apple fritter is not good. Worst I ever had. This place has a very nice decor, clean, cool, refreshing place for donut shop. But the donuts and coffee are the worst. As stylish donut places go, Donut Bar in Riverside completely blew away my expectations. My best donut experiences have typically been at hole in the wall, no frills places (and therefore a good ol' fashioned glaze donut is my favorite). However, Donut Bar's selection was as tasty and fresh as it was unique. They also earn bonus points for good cold brew -- I find most donut places don't do coffee well, but this place's cold brew was très magnifique. I happened upon this place early on a Friday morning after a long night at nearby Riverside Medical Center. I spent a good 30-45 minutes looking for an open breakfast joint but Donut Bar was the only one I could find. I ordered a cake batter donut, a snickers donut, and a cold brew. The donuts were super moist and their toppings were tasty. The snickers donut was a cake donut and the cake batter donut was a frosted donut. The cold brew was perfectly brewed and I was able to add cream and sweetener to my specifications. Even though it wasn't a "breakfast of champions," it was the perfect "splurge" breakfast after a long, sleepless night. If I'm ever back in Riverside again, I will definitely be coming back! read more

Came across this Doughnut shop on the corner of University Ave as we were walking from Mission Inn. Pretty cool vibe and great variety of doughnuts! Cool that it's a bar too. This restaurant is located in Downtown Riverside. You cannot miss it as it has bright pink lights outside its establishment. Usually, the line is long but it moves quite quickly. I visited a couple days ago and I liked how customers in line are to wait outside until they are called to come in. I am not sure if it has always been that way. But, it is a great covid protocol as well as it assures that each client gets enough time choosing their donuts. I love how the place is clean, atmosphere is amazing and they use TONGS to grab donuts (sanitary). You can use card, cash, or google pay to pay. The donuts are yummy and there is a vast variety. Only downside to this place could be the price. I personally don't think the Bad Bunny donut is worth $7. Overall, I would go back!! read more

I never thought I would review a donut shop, because I've never been big on donuts, but these donuts are delicious, fresh and definitely very filling. They're huge compared to a regular donut. I honestly just have a hard time choosing which ones to buy since they're all pretty delicious and beyond pretty. They are a bit pricy if you're buying many, but the size that you're getting definitely makes up for what you paying. Overall all 5 stars for me and I haven't even tried the drinks lol. Definitely recommend & must try at least once if you're a local or not. read more

Donuts were delicious. You could taste the freshness from the first bite. The Matcha donut was just the right amount of sweetness. Red Velvet and Oreo had good flavor. They have a variety of donuts for people to choose from so you can get the right amount of sweetness for your liking. Would definitely go back to try more flavors. read more

I can't say enough how much I love this spot! I. Usually not a bug don't person because they are to sweet,but the donuts here are just the right amount! Not over powering at all! They even will put a specific donut on hold for you if you call ahead so they don't sell out before you make it down. The managers and overall staff are always so nice and friendly. I was NOT expecting to eat this. My brain was not prepared for the deliciousness. I was going on thinking it was just a donut place but ooohhh how I was wrong! It's so cute in there and the donuts are extremely tasty. We ended up getting a half a dozen after first trying one. They taste like cake but in donut form. And can we talk about how enormous these donuts are?!? You could really split these and be completely fine. My caff/half caff latte, with a sprinkle of cinnamon, is perfectly made and delicious. My triple chocolate donut is...WAS moist, airy and delicious. No trace of being a fried food. If you're tired of classic glazed donuts, this is the place to visit. We always make sure to stop by when we're in Riverside. Their donuts change often, for this visit they had Bad Bunny donuts, Butterbeer, and Samoa flavors, Among many more. Donuts range from $2-$5. The specialty donuts are $5, and they are WORTH IT. Giant portions to share (or ration amongst yourself). I think one of my favorite flavors has been their abuelita donuts. The workers are always nice, and have great suggestions for the drinks. They have limited seating, and the patio was closed when we went, but there's plenty of benches outside the store to sit at. The store's ambiance is usually bustling with excited customers but the lines always move fast. If you buy a drink, they are done fast as well. read more
