We recently hosted our twin daughters' third birthday party at Urban Jungle Play, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The space itself is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed -- plenty of room for both kids and adults to enjoy comfortably. The play area kept all the children entertained, with a wide variety of toys, games, and activities suitable for different ages (from babies to toddlers to young kids).   The venue handled all of the themed décor as part of the package we selected, which made things so easy for us. Everything -- from the tableware and balloons to the banners -- looked amazing, and many parents commented that they couldn't believe the venue took care of it all! The room where the kids had their lunch was especially adorable. It was such a relief to be able to just show up and enjoy the day without having to stress about setup or decorations. I also really appreciated the well-structured itinerary. The flow of the party worked perfectly, and it was great that the kids could go back to the play area after eating -- it helped keep the energy and excitement going.   While the party was a bit on the pricier side (understandably, there are taxes, service fees/gratuity and credit card charges on top of the base package), I still felt it was a good value given what was included. Food for both kids and adults was covered, and after researching many local venues, Urban Jungle Play offered the most at this price point. I also appreciated that they're flexible about allowing outside food and drinks, which not all venues permit.   Lastly, a special shoutout to Gaurav, who was incredibly professional and courteous throughout the process. He quickly resolved any small issues that came up and made sure everything ran smoothly -- a great example of top-notch customer service.   Overall, our daughters and all their friends had an absolute blast, and we left feeling so happy with our choice. The floor is literally held together by duct tape. I also found a used band aid on the floor yesterday. Definitely can find cleaner play places! Also, they only include 1 parent for an open play fee. I had to pay $10 just to sit in the room as an additional parent. The "coffee bar" consisted of ready made coffee and powder creamer. It looked like a 1985 break room. Awful. Avoid! read more

The prices are high, but the school is one of the licensed one in the area with flexible hours, and it's hard to find this. Very clean and bright facility. Security is good. With doors bring locked during the school day. Kids are encouraged to be " kids" and have fun and their day is full of so much that they can enjoy. They even have the fish back! The masking is the only thing that breaks my heart and it's a Shame to see kiddos and staff have to conceal their breathing, and hopefully this can change for this preschool, who bravely operates during a pandemic! read more

We had my daughter's 2nd birthday party here and it was fantastic. From the initial booking to the day of the event, everything was seamless and ran smoothly. Gaurav and his team had everything covered and was easily accessible to answer any questions or hammer out any final details. They took care of everything on the day of the event allowing my wife and I to play host and enjoy the party. As for the place itself, there is every activity your child can want -- slides, swings, trampolines, cars, blocks, etc. Every child at the party was entertained the entire team. I would very much not recommend sending your child to classes here. I understand how difficult times are during this pandemic but they were super unhelpful to provide alternative options and refused to refund our deposit when the semester didn't happen. Many other places were very accommodating and provided refunds when necessary- do yourself a favor and don't bother sending your kid here. read more

This place, in Hoboken, is very inflexible. I bought a package of classes almost a year ago and have been unable to use all of them due to my daughter entering public school. UJP also doesn't offer many classes, so it's either you're available at the one time each day or else. I asked management to convert my credit to use for other things such as their gym and they are not willing to accommodate. Overall, lack of classes and inflexibility in making the client happy. read more

We had our son's birthday party here, and we couldn't have asked for a more successful event. Cathie was a joy to plan with and runs a well-oiled machine. She took care of every last detail beforehand, and, on the big day, her staff said the only thing we needed to do was to have fun (which we did!). They ran a tight ship and didn't once stumble or appear overwhelmed. Our guests covered a range of ages, and still no one was remiss for activities to keep them busy and excited (including the adults). The only regret from our guests was that they couldn't stay longer. It was well worth the investment and we'd highly recommend it for your child's special day (or even non-special days for open play or a date night). It's a Hoboken gem not to be missed! read more

When we walked in we were a little skeptical since we are used to bounce house type of places and this is more like a big play room. But the staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was very relaxed and great. It is very clean and our son loved it. read more

I've been taking my kids to open play for over a year and it's always just what we needed. The kids explore away on the indoor playground equipment, the oversized blocks, the hammock, the ballpit, etc. While they are busy and happy, I get to do work on the snack tables. I take home wiped out kids toting balloons and get an early night ;) Win win! read more

So I usually don't write that many reviews, however for this one I had to, cuz it came as a unpleasant surprise to me. I had my daughter's 1st year birthday party at Urban Jungle and went with Package 1 with a party specialist. First of all, I agree that most of our guests came in late, so they made a nice gesture by letting us stay for 1/2 hr past the closing time, however we are talking about 1 year old kids here, who can bring in lots of surprises. 4 of my guests couldn't make it due to their kids falling sick, and we didn't have the food order except 2 pizzas for kids....she still charged us the entire amount of the total head count that was to be given a week ago. Also, we had signed up for 2 activities and it was mentioned that they will play my music playlist, but nothing was played until reminded and the activities were confused. I just feel for the price you are paying and given that there is a lot of uncertainty involved when it comes to kids, they should have given some consideration in terms of the final invoicing. Anyways, I would recommend this place for maybe a playtime, however not for a birthday party. It's a bit of a rip off and there are a few other good options around. Lesson learnt. read more
