The guy at the register rang everything up, gave me the total, and assured me I didn't need anything else from him. However, when I took the information to the county office, I was told I specifically needed a non-sale receipt. When I went back into the store, I spoke with Sophia at the register, who was very polite and tried to help. She asked her coworker Taylor, who looked into it and called the manager, Dolly, over the walkie to approve it. Dolly's immediate answer was just, "We don't do that." I asked Sophia if Dolly could please come to the front so I could explain the situation directly, and Dolly flat-out refused to come up. To make matters worse, while Sophia was kindly looking for the corporate phone number for me, Taylor rudely told Sophia to stop helping me and move on to other customers--completely ignoring the fact that I was a customer who was there first and deserved to be taken care of. I want to give credit where it's due: Sophia was lovely, apologetic, and did her absolute best to help me. But Dolly completely failed to step up as a manager and do her job.
