Overall, I was not a fan of this Urban Outfitters store . The selection was very small compared to other Urban Outfitters that I visited over the years. Many selections that I'm familiar with do not exist here. Poor selection of clothes in the clearance section upstairs. Not worth one star! I ordered a shoe that was on back order for months. Finally have it delivered and a porch pirate stole it. UO will not resend or refund. My loss. Their packages aren't insured???? Lesson learned. Never do business online with them again! read more

I pretty much went to this store with my family and so there was only a small section for men's clothing. It's a nice place to visit with very nice decor and a long staircase which gives it a distinct look unlike other Urban Outfitters. It seems like that could have placed more clothes in the store although the decor limited to what it had inside. It's still a nice place to drop in and do a quick tour. The way the store is laid out doesn't want you to stay in very long. Just like any store - check it out to see if you like what you see. read more

On Black Friday, November 24th 2023 I came in to shop. I found a pair of gray lounging pants so I got in the line that wrapped around the entire store, I understand due to the Black Friday "deals" they claim to have. After about 45-60 minutes of waiting, keep in mind only 2 registers are open? My singular item cost 59.99 dollars, I decided to pay with a 100 dollar bill. The employee began to feel the bill/ examine it and called her manager over to take care of me - I had figured their was an issue with the large bill I provided so I offered to pay in 20's and the manager said they are not able to take my payment. She told me I would have to pay in a credit card? I scanned and pressed my bill and insisted they could not take my money... I asked why? I was given a blank stare and no response. Now I can tell you for a fact that my money is all real and well earned, trust. I see other costumers paying with cash and to refuse my payment is overall insulting, As a loyal customer of this location who often pays in cash and often visits I lost faith? I tend to look past because I do like the items they sell, now that I have been refused service I must say the layout is unconventional and cluttered! Piles on piles of 1 item, searching through over 30 copies of the same article just to recognize the lack of size inclusion. After quite literally digging through piles to find your size, A staff member is seen often behind you. I once was looking through the racks and noticed an employee follow me throughout the entire store from section to section "cleaning up" wherever I went when I properly cleaned up after myself thank you very much. I witnessed a woman ask an employee if they had any additional sizes because it seems to be a common struggle to find any sized other than XS,S,M and they replied with "No" and the woman asked if they could check in the back and the employee audibly said "Ugh" to the woman. I have been a very faithful customer for many years and I will continue to shop Urban Outfitters though I find it very hard to come back when I was refused service because of my age read more

Say what you will about hipsters, I think they're sexy and I dig their style. Now, the prices are a whole different story but ain't no thang, baby doll. Just walk your sweet cheeks up those stairs and move right along to the hefty clearance section. Extra points if you get there during their 'take an additional 50% of all clearance items" times. I've gotten some great steals here thanks to those handsome little fire sales. And I love all the stupid crazy crap I can throw my money away on... like a voice changing device when I can't afford a real auto-tune, a meowing kitty key chain, a book about animals that eat poop, and cereal bowls with serial killers faces painted on the bottom. The staff here used to be much better, at this point I'd say they're friendly but indifferent at best. I will say that the store is well arranged and pretty well kept, so they're doing a great job in that aspect. To Oakbrook Urban Outfitters I would like to say that I love your store and online services. I know corona has hit you guys hard when we were in quorintean. I am happy that you guys are back in business but I do think that you guys should be careful. One after another I see more and more businesses go out of business because of covid. We don't want that happening to you. I do think that you guys should make the store a little bit more safe from covid. Like promoting 6 feet and wearing your mask. Maybe make a limit of people in the store at a time. Urban Outfitters is a great store to go to for teenagers, girls, and boys. It is always on the new trend of clothes. The clothing is always cute. You guys sell a lot of new trendy clothes. I do appreciate that your bags are reusable bags because our world needs more of saving the environment. Urban Outfitters also has a great online store. It is well organized and we can find everything easily. The employees are always great to talk to and they always respect everyone. No matter what shape or color they will help you out and they will help you out and say what you will look good in or not. I am a huge fan of Urban Outfitters, always have been and always will be. Their clothes are eclectic and youthful, so if you're into cheeky shorts and t-shirts with loud, retro prints- this is the store for you. I do the majority of my UO shopping online, because, well, who doesn't like to online shop? Obviously, the prices are not cheap; expect to pay 20-25 bucks for a t-shirt, or 45-60 bucks for a pair of shorts. That doesn't mean the clothes aren't worth it, because the quality is definitely there. You just have to decide whether or not you want to shell out the dough for on-trend items. But this location is where the service is lacking. I live in Oak Brook so I always frequent this Urban Outfitter's location. The sales associates, in a word, suck. I was ready to purchase a couple items and I was standing at the register, only to have a group of employees huddled on top of the staircase pointing at me and deciding who would have the "trouble" of checking me out. It's kind of hard to tell who's working here as well; the SA's don't really have name tags or any indication that they work at the store. In fact, one kid came up to me and asked if I worked here. Do I look that hipster?! ;) The fitting room attendants are slow, flustered, and they hate their job. I was bringing in 4 shirts and a pair of shorts into the fitting room, and I accidentally told the attendant I had 4 items (instead of 5) because I forgot I had the shorts. She counted my items and snapped, "Um, actually, you're wrong...you have 5 items." I'm sorry? Cut the sass. Lastly, I purchased a pair of gray Vans from here. They left the sensor on the shoe itelf! When I was leaving the store, the alarm went off. They then inspected my bags and didn't find anything wrong. Then, I make my way to Barnes & Noble and my bag goes off in their detectors as well! Anyways, the clothes here are great and they have a pretty good selection; evenly divided among men and women. They just need better staff. read more

OK, the only way I knew about this store ever existing is that 1) it was featured in National Treasure (the movie, yes), and 2) I found them on the Havaianas website (yes the flip flops from Brazil). The store is just crazy, I thought my bathroom and bedroom were upside down--check this place out! Very colorful, very relaxed and laid back. Trendy tween stuff. I called to ask if they had the Havaianas in my size that I had seen on their website, they had three pairs and they held them for me until I could get off work and check them out. There's cool guys and gals who work there. Not so sure about their apparel though, very tweenish. read more

I used to wonder what Urban Outfitters was when I was 14 years old, reading TEEN and YM magazines. I finally found out when they opened this location quite awhile ago. Clothing is overpriced. If you're looking for Old Navy prices, well, go to Old Navy. Urban doesn't really do sales. I love their accessories and every once in awhile I find a cute top. The dresses and pants are all too small for me. They have a cool section of books too so it's a good stop if you're looking for a unique gift and don't want to spend hours in an actual bookstore. My only complaint is that every time I'm here, there is no one at the register. I have to wait, even with no line, for someone to ring me up. There's always someone near the front folding sweaters, and they can't see the register from that area of the store. What I do like is that the employees do NOT hound you. They say hello, unlock fitting rooms for you, and ring you up. That's it. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. I bought a mirror about a week ago that was $12.97 came out to like $15 in cash, it took about 20 minutes for the employee to even ring out my purchase. I handed her a $50 bill and was given $5/$6 bucks back. I immediately left without checking my cash because I was in a rush to get to work. When I called back the manager said he'd have my correct change waiting for me the next day. When I went in I was treated awfully by a larger women who said she was the only manager and didn't know what I was talking about. She then called me a liar and said if I didn't leave the store security would be called. My whole room/ wardrobe is from Urban. But I swear I'll never go back to this one. Their employees are the rudest people I've ever met, you ask for help and they whisper under their breath while doing it. the space for this location has plenty of potential but i find the layout of the store is unorganized and a little confusing... especially when i was looking for a certain piece of clothing i knew UO carries. their clothes aren't well displayed and it just feels a bit chaotic navigating through the store. at least if they had a distinct floor categorized by gender it would probably make a bit more sense but you find both girl's and boy's clothes on each floor... you kinda feel like you just want to find the exit and leave read more

My daughter and I tried to buy these speakers expecting 20% off based on the what was displayed but at the cashier the girl doubted us and when she called the manager we were told it's not applicable since the signis slightly torn. I love this store it is my favorite for funky kitchy items. I love the cloths as well. The house wares are also very unique. I was able to get my nephews christmas gift there this year, and last year I got the most awesome white elephant gift. It was a measuring cup set that looked like flowers. I haven't seen anything like that anywhere else. read more

I do not leave many reviews for clothing stores, but I couldn't resist! I previously gave an Urban Outfitters near my home in Chicago a bad review because their customer service is God awful. This Urban Outfitters, however, took that sour taste right out of my mouth! I came in on Saturday to return something that was older than 60 days so I would get a store credit. I also wanted to return something I had just bought and then buy it back with the store credit. I also had to swap out a purse that I had recently purchased and it had broken. I was pretty much a nightmare customer. The first guy who was helping me was a little confused, but I don't blame him! Then, a girl who's name I cannot remember-she had a nose piercing and was wearing a hat-came to the rescue. She was seriously AWESOME!!!!!!! She did everything so quickly, didn't make me feel like an idiot, and she did it all RIGHT. My mom stood there in shock from such wonderful customer service and we actually talked about it all day! I'm going to go home and look for my receipts so I can give this girl props...I hope her name is on it and when/if I find it, I will add it to this post! read more
