Five stars for Brian and Marcos from Urban Roots Landscaping! I can't say enough good things about the transformation they brought to my yard. These two showed up ready to tackle a jungle--and they delivered. They took down towering blackberry bushes that had swallowed up my flower beds, revealing the rosebushes, blueberries, and fig tree that hadn't seen in ages. They cleared mountains of soggy leaves, gave every edge a crisp, clean cut, and--unearthed my long-lost patio pavers from beneath layers of weeds! Their work was thorough, efficient, and clearly done with care. My yard feels like it got a fresh start, and I'm genuinely excited to spend time outside again. The crews are great and work hard. But the support from the office is non-existent. Because everything is automated they have no flexibity if you want to change the payment method for the final payment. Also, there customer service is non-existent. read more

We are so happy with the work that Blady & Marco did on our scruffy yard., basically a big clean up that took hours on a hot day. They dug up invasive grass in hard ground, weeded garden beds getting the roots, mowed and edged, and applied a very good quality bark chips to all the beds before leaving. The guys also took time to listen to what we wanted done, and did a final walk-through with us before leaving. They know what they're doing with plants & gardens & don't just whizz through. We had Urban Roots do a spring clean up of our neglected yard. They cleaned up the flower beds, pruned overgrown plants and shrubs, weeded, and hauled away a lot of yard waste! I wish I had taken a before photo but thoroughly impressed with Urban Roots level of service and communication. I needed my fence line completely dug out and down in addition to having mulch installed. They were able to knock it out in and afternoon and everything looks so much better. I live out of town, but have an investment property in WA, so it is hard to find someone who will do what they say without doing a half ass job knowing you are not there to sign off on the job. I wrote a glowing review 3 weeks ago for this company. That was before grass and weeds popped up everywhere on the newly planted area. I thought the pre-conditioning/weeding of the area coupled with landscape cloth would prevent weeds for at least a little while, but, no. When I called Dylan to ask what he would do about it, the polite answer was, "Nothing." He had several tips for what I could do, but he felt he had weeded as much as "anyone normally would". What a disappointment. I can not recommend this landscaper. read more

We had such an amazing experience with Urban Roots on our first project together that we are having them return for regular maintenance of our property. Dylan returned emails and texts in a timely manner, and all of our interactions with him and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. We got new sod on our whole front yard with an underground watering system installed by urban roots.
