    Grilled cheese on sourdough bread.

The service was great. I went in at lunch time for a vegan chopped cheese but decided on a grilled cheese. It was hot savory and very satisfying. I was also pleased to see that there were fruit choices available. I'm really into energy drinks so I grabbed one of those as well :)

I went here to get a breakfast sandwich and fell in love! I appreciate how they have everything you need in this cozy space. I have been there twice and plan to keep going back and trying everything on the menu.

I fell in love with this place - it's awesome and good vibes as soon as you walk through the door. My first time in here and I was surprised how much great & healthy products they have. Looks like a small boutique from the outside but they have many beneficial products and food to offer. They even had sea moss, which I'll be back to buy! We ordered a BLT sandwich and an Avocado Turkey sandwich. Both sandwiches were too tier and PLENTY of food. I saved half of my sandwich for lunch & the other half for dinner ... that's how big it was. Plus they come with chips, chaaa-Ching. Service top tier as well! The owner / guy that was helping me made me feel at home, I always appreciate those things. This is the kind of place that gets me excited to try everything on the menu because it seems so high quality with everything they do. If you have never been to Urban Treez, you are missing out & I highly recommend! Personal Review: 9.1/10

Great breakfast delivery. French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. With coffee, that my Ubereats lady driver almost forgot! I had to keep asking for my drink. I spent the night at a hostel, and ordered breakfast that morning. I would definitely order from here again.

A hidden vegan gem in Pilsen. Cute chill cafe vibes The service was fast and easy and they have so many vegan options. They were super kind and great a recommending stuff for us and everything looked and sounded delicious. I loved sitting and eating my sandwich and listening to regulars walk in and make small talk. This reminded me of why small businesses are so important for our communities.

I was researching Pilsen neighborhood to see what kinds of shops to check out for the day and stumbled upon this place. It's a quaint grocery store/eatery just a few steps from the train station. I came in to try their smoothies and they didn't disappoint. The two guys working were the kindest workers I met during my trip to Chicago thus far. I ended up getting the berry batter 16 oz. and it was surprisingly filling and not too sweet. The drink kept me full for most of the day, too. Needless to say, I would recommend this place.

This little coffee shop has a ton to offer, smoothies and juices, paninis and hot beverages. I was recommended the iced matcha latte called "chapulin" by the barista and it did not dissappont. Service is excellent. There is also a small sitting area for meetups and they have a printer as well.

Price: $$ - $$$ Parking: Street Payment: credit card or cash Highlight: New Years resolution starts here with plenty of heathy grocery options. Located in the heart of Pilsen right by the train station( Pink line and #9 bus stop). Even it doesn't seems much from the outside, but the insides are full of treasures. Marco(the owner) was very friendly, as he explained that the stores just reopen (which they were supposed to open last April but due to the pandemic which that didn't happen). Even though their smoothie bar that offer açaí bowl and healthy sandwiches are still waiting for the food license to get approve in the meantime , but there are still a lot of great healthy grocery selections such as Keto ice creams, Kombuchas, CBD supplements, Tea selection, etc for customers to choose. Perhaps some of the items seems in a higher price point, but they are definitely high quality products. After all, you are what you invest in yourself. So hopefully by the spring season I get to go back when their food bar are good to go, because you can't find anything like this in the Pilsen neighborhood.

The sandwiches are immaculate and so are the drinks. I got a deli sandwich cause they have boars head here and it did not disappoint. Hand made drinks also make this place really good. The service was knowledgeable and friendly and the ambiance is also great it's a chill vibe with books and games to play. Right by the pink line at 18th street. They also have juices and smoothies

Urban Treez located in Pilsen is juice bar and health food store It's great they have many vegan options, drinks, vitamins/supplements and just everyday items you need. They also have hot food that can be prepared. There is street parking available and it's really close off the CTA. Their juice bar is located in the back. They have a variety of options on their menu. I got the piña colada smoothie. It was delicious I also got a ginger wellness shot.

I'm trying hard…read moreto stay away from the chain supplement stores (I'm looking at you Vitamin Shoppe!) and doing my part to support local and so far it's been paying off. They not only sell vitamins and supplements but it's also a small health food grocery store selling a gamut of organic items from fruit and veggies to prepackaged, frozen items. I especially like their grocery store bulk bins where you can purchase dry goods by the pound. The owner, Mr. Dinesh, is friendly and the store manager has always been helpful. Both always greet me when I visit and if I have trouble finding things, they're always ready to help. One thing not to skip is getting their freshly made in-house samosas. They are ridiculously good and quite possibly the best frickin samosas I've ever had so far. The owner also mentioned to me that they sell lentil soup and Biryani. I'm almost tempted to go back and try that too. JD Mills is situated in a strip mall with ample parking. They have a few dedicated spaces for customers with a 20-minute limit. Check them out! They are an amazing find and a gem in the neighborhood.

I also like that they have the Earth Balance soy-free variety of the vegan butter, since that one is hard to find in supermarkets. And I buy loose-weight jasmine tea here too. Now I've discovered that the owner makes and sells his own samosas here every day -- both regular and gluten-free -- and they taste fantastic and are very reasonably priced ($2.29 each + tax). They come with the two classic red and green Indian sauces. That's a great deal.

I had no idea Larrabee Herbs existed until I found it via Google Maps. I wondered about parking prior to visiting, as the storefront sits along W North Ave, but it ended up not being an issue. There is a small parking lot right outside the building on N 76th Ct, with a decent number of spots for the number of customers they get. Keep in mind that parking is also available along W North Ave if those spots are ever filled. After entering, I immediately started looking for the products I needed while an employee helped another customer at the register. Once he finished, he immediately asked me if I needed any assistance, and of course, I took him up on it. The employee was very informative about which products were available, as well as when the items I was looking for would arrive, as they were in high demand. All the items were displayed in alphabetical order, making it easy to find what I needed. I ended up purchasing 1-ounce bags of kola nut, licorice root, black walnut leaf, and cloves, since my original target products were not available. I really loved everything I discovered about what I purchased. All of them have wonderful results in combating bacteria in the stomach, and I hope to incorporate a few of them regularly into my dietary routine. As for kola nuts, I learned that they are caffeine-rich seeds from the African cola tree that are used to boost energy, enhance metabolism, and aid digestion. Containing around 2% caffeine, they act as a central nervous system stimulant, reducing fatigue and boosting mental alertness. Licorice root helps eradicate bacteria, especially alongside medical treatments. It inhibits bacterial growth, soothes inflamed tissues, and boosts protective stomach mucus. Other benefits include contributing to healthy skin and relieving colds and coughs. Black walnut contains compounds--particularly juglone in the hulls--that exhibit antibacterial, antiviral, and antiparasitic properties. Studies also show that regular consumption reduces inflammation and inhibits associated gastric damage, making it a promising nutritional approach. Lastly, cloves! Out of all the herbs I found, the cloves made me smile because they do wonders for the body that I had no idea about. It was the first of the herbs I had with dinner, and I really loved the smell of it. The taste sent chills through my body as I heated a small portion to drink for the evening. Cloves also inhibit bacterial growth and reduce the inflammation it causes in the stomach. I am very pleased to say that Larrabee Herbs and Health Center has played a key role in helping me take better control of my health. I will surely visit again, whether for these exact herbs or others. ~ Live. Laugh. Love. ~ Thomas G
