Bought a brand new hookah, from the first time there was barely to none smoke coming out. I have tried multiple different bowls, the amount of coals that I put on, water level .. Anything that I could do I tried because there was no way that my BRAND NEW hookah is defective. I have tried it 4 times and each time it doesn't work at all. I called and their advice to me was just "it's probably just you, and the way you are making it". The 4th time I turned my hookah on, of course it didn't work but my friend had his over, so I set his up and it was working perfectly fine. I spent my money to never be able to enjoy my hookah, nor get any assistance to it so now I have to go spend more money on getting another one since Urge Smoke Shop sold me a defective one. This is the best smoke shop I've been to in the area. Ive been to local ones in Hudson county and they are okay, but overpriced and low on quality of merchandise. Urge was great because they had a lotttttt of items for all your smoking needs. I needed a new pen, and sully? (sorry if I misspelled!) at the register was so helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my question with patience and helped me find exactly what I needed. He had great suggestions and a smile on his face. I normally go to smoke shops in the city for the variety alone, but now that I've been to Urge I can honestly say they have the same quality of products as the city, for a fraction of the cost. I was excited to see a shop in the neighborhood that features vape and vape related supplies. Its kind of a stretch to the next nearest shop. But when I walked in..i was kinda underwhelmed. The shop is a smoke shop, which usually features the usual stuff...hookah stuff...tobacco stuff...and bongs and so on and so forth. The vape area was disappointingly small. It was a glass case with the usual mods like the istick 30w and 50w..and other mods along with the tanks. Their selection of juices is ok for the moment. They do have well known ones like cuttwood and cosmic fog. The interior of the shop is spacious and nicely adorned. The person at the counter was cool but unfortunately wasn't too knowledgeable about vape stuff. I'm picky about vg/pg ratios but there wasn't any info right then and there that showed those ratios. There is absolute plenty of room for improvement. The guy there mentioned his business partner based out of Elizabeth is alot more in tune with the vape stuff. He also mentioned they have more space to play with and are thinking of making it a vape lounge which would be awesome. My review has 3 of 5 stars, because there are a few things I suggest to make this place better.. 1. The interior of the store is inviting but play some music or something so that it doesn't sound so quiet and awkward. 2. I hope they do eventually add a tasting bar because it will definitrly increase sales by getting to taste the juices before purchasing. 3. I hope it takes off here because in time..it'll be awesome to see the vape gear selection increase. 4. If that vape lounge happens, it will definitely bring out more vapers to the store. It could be the town speakeasy...but for vapers 5. Hopefully staff is added that knows the ins and outs of the vape world. I'm not sure if they did carry supplies there like tanks...kanthal wires..cotton...etc. thing like that will draw in the vape heads into this store. Imagine if the lounge does happen. A good mix of Veterans could be in there showing off their builds and even help newcomers into the vape world get acquainted. All in all..The shop looks nice but I hope there is more of a presence vape wise in that store. Trust me..This place has potential to get well known. read more

The store looks great. This is definitely one of the better B&M's stores in the area. I was referred to this place by a friend of mine and I was pleasantly surprised with there selection on Vapes and eliquids. As far as eliquid goes they have most of the really big names juices like cuttwood, Gemini, cosmic fog, etc. They are missing a few juices that I vape myself but the owner told me they where adding a few new lines. I picked up 3 juices and they where all in stock, which surprised me for a place that doesn't only focus on Vapes and eliquids. I took a brief look at the boxes and accessories and it looks like they have the basics covered. It seems to me that they have a wider selection then other vape shops in the area and a deeper stock as well. There RDA selection wasn't that great but (again) the owner said they where getting some more authentics in soon. As far as the people go, they where friendly and knowledgable. I don't have anything bad to say about them. I went on Friday night and they managed all their customers well. My recommendations would be to keep doing what your doing and try to get a few more authentic rda options. Besides that it's a great shop and definitely my B&M of choice right now. This shop is great for me and I recommend it to new and advanced vapors but they still have a little work to do to capture the top tier and hardcore vapors. Although they have a couple more things to get, I'm giving them a 5 star based on the fact that they already have a good selection, the staff was friendly, and a previous reviewer made some suggestions that look like they applied to the store.
