Dr Loppolo and staff staff were all very Professional as well as personable. Took time to explain what to be expected before and after procedure. Answered all questions and then followed up. My Shih Tzu was neutered and is doing amazing. I would definitely recommend .

She dragged her out the cage from the neck (8/10 level of dragging force). She tied the neck cone knot pretty tight, it seemed normal at first glance but when I got home after an hour drive I double checked and I couldn't fit a finger through the gap (chat gpt said fit at least a finger or two when that is tied around a pet). Lastly, she shoved her in the cage (6/10 level of shove force) causing her water bowl to spill some water in her cage, and she was like "oopsie". No remorse which indicated a level of malice behind her actions. Her hind legs got wet, she has a tail infection, the last thing I need is for it to get worse just for going to the vet. If I may make a suggestion, I think a bit more caution should be excercised, especially when dealing with a senior pet and when you guys are handling them in front of their owners, I can only imagine how they handled her behind closed doors (which is why I won't return, keep my blood panel chump change I don't care). I was also hoping to get a basic ear clean (which I mentioned in the pre check up talk and would've happily paid for) and a check up on her infection, all she really ended up getting was an anti bacterial shot and a neck collar. Overall this place is below average in my opinion, they were offering me subscription pain meds for her arthritis when all I really wanted was just my main concerns/ wants addressed. Just another cookie cutter big pharma pet office trying to run up useless subscriptions. I'll be returning to her old vet ecstaticly, which is a 2 hr drive away but AT LEAST they wont drag, shove and choke my childhood pet infront of me and say "oopsie"

I brought my dog to PAH as a new patient about a year ago for ongoing loose stool and diarrhea…read moreissues. After requesting blood work, it was revealed that he had PLE. We chose the non-invasive treatment route with steroids. However, we were given very little guidance regarding the treatment plan, expected duration of steroid use, or follow-up monitoring. No one from the clinic bothered to check in on his progress after treatment began. Whenever I called with questions or concerns and wanted guidance from the vet, I was frequently told that she was unavailable and would not be able to get back to me until the following week. This was frustrating given the seriousness of my dog's condition and the fact that he was taking long-term steroids. I eventually sought a second opinion from another vet, and the difference in communication and follow-up care was night and day. It was a relief to find a vet who was proactive and actually cared about monitoring my dog's condition. Based on my experience, I would not return to this clinic and would recommend looking elsewhere for veterinary care.

She will make remarks and have a ridiculous attitude if you refuse her recommendations, which are founded on out of date information and practices. She argues with owners openly in front of staff and will not advocate for best practices for the family. She also struggles with basic technical skills and will blame the pet for her incompetence. We will not be taking our pets here again. 2 stars because the staff is kind and tries to be accommodating.

An x-ray showed he had a intestinal blockage. It came down to either putting him to sleep or paying for surgery. We opted for surgery, and today I am happy to announce he is doing great. He apparently ate a shoe string that he could not digest. Thanks to CareCredit, I am able to make payments. The loan will be interest free if I get it paid off within 6 months. My experience at this clinic was very positive. The staff was very helpful and polite. The doctor was excellent and diagnosed Milo's issue very quickly. For emergencies or if your normal veterinarian cannot get the job done, go to this clinic in Vass. They have more advanced imaging and can perform various surgeries, as needed. Just be patient, they can get very busy, but the wait is worth it.

Upon arriving they took our dog back into the treatment area and left her by herself to die after barking in pain for at least two continuous hours. My wife kept asking them to check on her since she was in horrific pain. They treated every dog but ours. They refused to let us see her. After 3 hours they told us she quit breathing and refunded our 500.00 dollars. Most importantly they took from us something we will never get back: The right for her to pass with her family by her side. How they treated her is unforgiveable and we urge anyone thinking of taking their pet to Small Animal Emergency Services to remember how they treated us and our beloved dog.

The staff at five points was wonderful with her and went the extra mile to ensuring that she was safe and stable throughout her stay. They made sure she was comfortable and keep a close eye on her at all times. Upon our return, Georgia was active, alert, and enthusiastic to see not only us but the staff members when we went in to get her. In order to assist her with her mobility issues, they tried various mat and rug configurations to make sure she was okay throughout the night. I have to admit I was concerned leaving her but whenever my husband checked the video feed she seemed content. It was a relief knowing she was so well taken care of and seeing her happy when we picked her up. They even had a detailed sign on the door of her suite outlining all of our concerns and her issues. It was reassuring to know that everyone who cared for her knew our concerns. We just hope that they enjoyed the time with Georgia as much she enjoyed spending with them. Five Points Pet Resort is more than two hours from our home and we have initially chose them because they had someone that checked on the babies in the evening. Little did we know how kind and caring everyone on staff would be. This was our second time staying at Five Points and the long drive is work every minute knowing our girl is being well cared for. Thank you again. PS. I can't believe how busy she is today; she clearly feels good.
