Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Miss Georgia. Being a senior baby, Georgia needs extra attention and care to do some mobility problems and health issues. The staff at five points was wonderful with her and went the extra mile to ensuring that she was safe and stable throughout her stay. They made sure she was comfortable and keep a close eye on her at all times. Upon our return, Georgia was active, alert, and enthusiastic to see not only us but the staff members when we went in to get her. In order to assist her with her mobility issues, they tried various mat and rug configurations to make sure she was okay throughout the night. I have to admit I was concerned leaving her but whenever my husband checked the video feed she seemed content. It was a relief knowing she was so well taken care of and seeing her happy when we picked her up. They even had a detailed sign on the door of her suite outlining all of our concerns and her issues. It was reassuring to know that everyone who cared for her knew our concerns. We just hope that they enjoyed the time with Georgia as much she enjoyed spending with them. Five Points Pet Resort is more than two hours from our home and we have initially chose them because they had someone that checked on the babies in the evening. Little did we know how kind and caring everyone on staff would be. This was our second time staying at Five Points and the long drive is work every minute knowing our girl is being well cared for. Terrific caring staff in a healthy environment, i have an older, anxious dog who has no problems following the staff in and gets lots of TLC while there. The luxury suites have webcams which enable me to check in on my dog when i am missing him and reassure myself he is ok. AMAZING experience! We have not needed to board our dogs in the past and were very nervous about our first boarding experience, but WOW! My kids loved that we could use the webcam to actually SEE how happy they were at Five Points! We've used Five Points in the past for our cats and fell in love. A week ago, we unexpectedly adopted our new dog daughter, Daisy, and boarded her here We sent her there for two nights and paid for an additional package to get a text update, extra playtime and an extra trail walk. The only issue we had is we never received the text. It made us question if the other paid items were done. We also noticed on the Webcam that the personal items were removed sometime Saturday morning (she was dropped off Friday evening and was picked up Sunday evening) and never put back in the room. We were never told that they would remove the items to clean them. We assumed that Daisy peed on them but they said it is just protocol to clean the items the day prior to pickup. We would've rather been given the option as we would've chosen to keep them with her as comfort items. Sounds like a lot of complaining but we actually still would board our pets ​here. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Rude receptionist working there today, 10/14 @ 2pm. I nicely told her that we would get into town late and how much more was it to board my dog 1 more night and she gave me a total that didn't make sense to me. I was calculating 5 nights plus 2 walks, a bath & nail trim and she sounded like she was annoyed. My call dropped and I called her back within a min and she did not answer. Called her back 7x and still got her voicemail. It sounded like she even hung up on me on the 3rd ring. Do not have people with bad attitude answer your phones if they're not capable of being patient. read more

Boy did we experience a 360 with this establishment!! We were in the process of permanently relocating back to NC. We left on Friday before Memorial Day to go get the rest of our belongings in AL. We dropped Rocky off around 9am. We gave specific instructions that he not be in temperatures higher than 70 degrees. I confirmed the day of reservation and at check in that all accommodations were with HVAC. We told the owner that he could not be outside for play time, and again to the employee that came to take him back. In fact, we even told them they could not pet or play with him even in his room because he gets overly excited, he doesn't know when to stop playing and has a hard time calming himself down. It was almost like our concerns and comments we dismissed. The owner even said, I know how sensitive they can be I grew up around English Bulldogs, my Dad raised them. We thought that meant she understood.......WRONG!!! Around 6:30pm I received a call from the owner that she was concerned with Rocky's breathing and was on her way to an ER Vet with him. I asked what had happened and the standard "He was only outside for 10 minutes". I find that hard to believe!! He takes walks at home to do his business, some times for close to 10 minutes and never has to go to the ER. He was in a horrible state of heat stroke! He almost DIED! His temperature was 108 degrees, his heart rate was 200, his gums were BLUE! He had to be wrapped in ice towels, given IVs, incubated, it was extremely upsetting, stressful and horrible to be so far away and know that this was the way he was treated less than 10 hours after we left him! When I told the owner this was her fault and her ER bill she said " Well Ma'am he is a high risk breed and I am not in control of the weather! And besides you signed a release. All I was supposed to do was provide care for him. At least I got him to a vet." Your so called care resulted in a severe heat stroke!!!!!!!!! For the record, I never received any policies, never signed a release, never saw a release or any other documents. At check in I was asked to sign an electronic screen that had nothing but a line showing. She did not explain what it was for, I thought I was signing for the credit card I had given to be processed. Again, NEVER was I shown any type of release. But apparently the way they do business is they are not responsible for your pet while in their care. They accept no responsibility for any of their actions. Rocky spent the whole weekend in the ER. We rushed our trip home to get back in time to pick him up before the holiday weekend hours ended. We took him to OUR vet for a check up. He told us Rocky was VERY lucky to be alive! His opinion was the only explanation for such a high and dire temperature was prolonged exposure to heat. Horrible experience at this business. We will NEVER be back! And the attitude of the owner was just appalling!!! read more

As always (he grooms our other 2 dogs as well) she was squeaky clean and soft upon pick up! We also board our pups here and I won't take them anywhere else. Friendly staff, and so clean!! If I could give this business 0 stars I would. We had used this kennel multiple times for our dog. They were very familiar with her and it was noted in her file and the staff were reminded on multiple occasions that she was dog aggressive. The day we dropped her off they apparently did not pay attention to that and put her out in the caged area where she got into a fight through the fence with another dog. At this time she apparently cut her paw. We were not notified about this until a day later and they said it was not bad they were just going to keep and eye on it. 2 days later they called and said it was worse and we told them to take her to the vet. At the vet they apparently had to cut and drain it and did and X-ray and gave her antibiotics (nobody ever called to update us). When we picked her up I was shocked at how bad her paw was. They claimed it had not been that bad the whole time (I find that extremely hard to believe). After bringing our pup home she had multiple trips to the vet and an extended stay of over a week to help manage her paw and infection. After all this and multiple courses of antibiotics we ultimately had to have part of her paw amputated. When I reached out to 5 points and spoke to the manager she was very rude and did not want to take responsibility for anything that had happened while our baby was in their care. She ultimately told me "you are lucky that we even take her since she is dog aggressive, most places won't" and then after asking for some sort of help paying for medical bills due to their negligence or at least a discount on the boarding I was told "I'm not sure why I should bother, it sounds like I have already lost you as a customer". How about because it is the right thing to do and because you guys are supposed to be in the business of CARING for animals. After weeks of dealing with vets and bills our furbaby had to be put down and I believe it was a direct result of what happened while she was there. I would caution anyone who decides to use this kennel. read more

I have been boarding our pets with Five Points for many years and have had a wonderful experience each time without fail. The ability to look on their cameras they provide is awesome especially when you start to miss them. I find it hard to believe anyone would find someone legitimate to complain about. I too work in the service industry and when a business such as mine and Five Points has so many positive reviews that 99.9% of the time it is not the service provider it is the customer whom is unsatisfiable and looking for anything to complain about. I have SERIOUS separation anxiety when it comes to my fur-babies. I had to board them for the first time ever and was so nervous about it. I chose Five Points because it had so many good reviews and figured it must be a good place if so many people had something positive to say about it. Needless to say, it lived up to its reputation. Making a reservation was simple. They require an upfront $25 reservation fee but this amount goes toward your reservation and if you end up canceling your reservation they keep this amount on file for you as a future credit (never expires). I found this place to be affordable considering you get such good service .The nightly rate for my first dog (I have 2 mini poodles) was $22 and $20 a night for my second pup. So total it was $42 a night but actually we got a military discount so it actually ended up being like $37 a night for both my dogs. Their last day there I had the option to either pay the $37 nightly rate or I could pay $20 for them to both get baths. So it cost less to get them bathed ($10 each) than it cost to pay the nightly rate. So my babies were returned to me nice and clean! They smelled so good when I picked them up. I also like that they have the option to do a late pick-up (after hours) even though that option is kind of pricy ($65 after 5:00 pm). The customer service was great! The front desk rep, Jennifer, did a wonderful job at assuring me that my babies would be in great care while I was away. It really helped calm my nerves as I was truly on the verge of tears. I appreciated that she said I could call at any time to get updates on them and gave me a report card for them when I came to pick them up. The report card had details about their stay to include sweet comments from the staff about their experience doggy sitting. They also gave me a tour of the place and showed me where my kiddos were staying. The only reason I did not give Five Points 5 stars is because I wish the late pick up wasn't so pricy and I wish that you could pick up your dog anytime on Sunday (as opposed to 4-6). I also wish the regular suites had doors instead of a wired fence. Other than that, this place is great! I certainly plan to leave my fur-babies with them the next time I travel and I plan to recommend them to other friends and family who need to board their pets. read more

I loved how happy and healthy our Boston Terrier was when he came home after almost 3 weeks at the Resort! (He was more fit than when we left him!) The little report card he came home with was great! I could see who played with him each day, how he did eating, and just see they really cared about our dog. I liked that some of the marketing material was specialized for us with a picture magnet of our dog and Five Points contact info. It was a great little touch! They didn't seem to mind one bit when I called early on during our trip to check on him, they even encouraged it! I couldn't believe someone even took the time to text us two pictures of our dog playing and having a great time! What a wonderful way to put owners at ease and be able to stop worrying about their dog while they're away! That's a nice feeling for an overprotective dog owner. :) The added touch of giving him a bath right before we picked him up was wonderful. His coat is shinier than I've ever seen it and somehow he's not shedding now! We've picked up dogs from other places before and it's annoying to have to take them home and give them a bath first thing because they smell from playing hard outside. What a thoughtful touch for Five Points to take care of! I was soo pleased with how much he was played with from the group play time to one on one. I also felt they were really keeping an eye on any health changes or special instructions I gave. I really felt that they were genuine in their care for my dog and couldn't have been more pleased with our first stay with Five Points. We're already schedule for our next trip with them!! Five Points Pet Resort: My black lab, Lexi, has been staying at Five Points for almost 10 years, both as a day guest while I have been at work, and for weeks at a time while I have been on vacation. Never have I had a second's worry. I have seen how creatively this campus has been built, the wonderful, personal care each animal has been given, and have experienced the careful and thorough grooming. I know that Lexi would love for me to return to work so that she could experience "play time" every single day with the other dogs, and her golf cart rides! The staff is great, and the facility is kept very, very clean. Mrs. Candace and the staff members of Five Points Pet Resort are absolutely wonderful. Our dogs Shaq and Skeeter always stay at this resort when our family travels, or take an extended vacation. During our most recent vacation our dog Shaq became very ill as we were traveling. Not only are we grateful that the staff members at Five Points very observant during ours dogs dinner feeding; they noticed our playful Shaq being very lethargic. Ms. Candace not only contacted us immediately she rushed Shaq to the ER Vet at 10:00pm(Small Amimal Emergency Services in Vass NC) and stayed there by his side the entire time. Our dog Shaq was rushed into emergengy surgery that night. If it were not for these AMAZING people our dog Shaq might not be with us today. Shaq is back to being his normal playful self, and we are forever grateful.
