Dr. Desirredi was very unprofessional to me. I came in with hematuria and he did not discuss anything about what causes it. He also would not let me explain my concerns. Such as I was in the ER in 2025 and had hematuria. The ER doctor did not mention to me that I should follow up on the hematuria. That was in 2025. During this visit at the ER I did have a CT scan which came back normal. Dr. Desirrei pointed out my CT scan was normal. That was one year ago. During my visit he failed to let me discuss my concerns. I spent less than 10 minutes in his office. He said that I will have to have a cystoscopy. That was it. I will not be using him as my urologist especially having to have a procedure. Poor bedside manner. read more

Dr. Freidberg and another Dr. together ruined my life. In person visit, he was extremely unprofessional, did not stop when I asked, then yelled stop. Did not check if his assistant knew what she was doing after I asked him to because I knew she didn't (and she didn't), he passed on incorrect results to another doctor, a surgeon, resulting in 2 unnecessary surgeries. Meanwhile, I was told two other issues I had were nothing (I had a different office take care of them a few months later). The actual problem which I got the surgeries for easily found by a different doctor in a different office. This doctor was one half of the team that ruined a large part of my life! I would never let anyone I cared about go near this man in an office. read more

I was referred here by the VA for testosterone pellets that are clearly covered by the VA under my status, both procedure and pellets. Two of these doctors refused to perform the procedure unless i paid out of pocket for the pellets. They also refused to order the pellets through the VA which is the preferred method. They said not only do i have to pay out of pocket hundreds of dollars for a covered prescription, I couldn't use the popular commercial brand. I had to use their in house brand. They waited until i drove 45 minutes to the appointment to tell me this when i clearly had the discussion beforehand and we were on track. What their saying might be true for certain insurances, but definitely not mine and not only did they refuse to listen, they waited until i went through an extensive VA approval process including VA doctors and administrators. Or they might just be trying to manipulate the system to be paid more than they contracted for. The doctors and administrators were very rude and pushy, condescending, and acted as though a discussion to clear up the confusion was beneath them. I would never trust these two doctors. Maybe others in their practice are different. read more

I am in my 9th day of having a 12mm kidney stone lodged in my kidney. probably had 23-30 stones in my life and all were taken care of by small hospitals and small town Drs. who cared. in 9 days I've seen a Dr. one time for 10 minutes. they keep me running all over the place to get "talk" or per in a bottle. my next scheduled visit is a "teleconference" call in 3 days from now. Meanwhile, here I sit with level 8 pain at their mercy. They are obviously tied in with Ascension Austin which is an absolute joke. They blame a shortage of Drs. Their computer systems don't have all information because of different systems. Anyway you look at it, they are practically socialized medicine. Worst I've ever been treated at a medical office or facility. Patients are definitely numbers now. This is real. This is not a disgruntled patient raving. Be aware. read more

I'm knocking off two stars because we came in today, and the hateful woman at the front desk is still here. I didn't even remember why I recoiled when I saw her, but it was absolute fear of dealing with her. Unfortunately, my father likes Dr. Desireddi, so we're forced to deal with this woman. I can't even ask to interact with anyone else...she's the only one. My heart starts racing, my anxiety goes into overdrive. The sad thing is that sitting here, even if she's being mildly pleasant, every word I hear seems hateful. She was that rude in the past, so I have absolutely zero ability to have a normal interaction with her. She is the most unpleasant person I've ever dealt with in a doctor's office. The support staff at the Lakeway office is likely killing this business to a great degree, the receptionist is grouchy and has an arrogant attitude. The billing department is either incompetent or dishonest. They gave me a price for a simple procedure, I had the procedure, I paid the bill and then they sent me another bill for more money and wanted to argue about it, I eventually settled it all with them after much frustration... and nearly a year later I get another bill for more money. Dr. Desereddi was good, I like him and he seems to have done a good job, but the support staff is unbearable, so much so I will not do business with them again. It's not worth the trouble. read more

I have been to Dr Desireddi three times. On each visit his staff was unable to draw blood without multiple attempts and bruising.

Let me start off by saying the support staff specifically the receptionist is trying to put Dr. Desireddi, out of business. Even though I liked him, the first person I interact with is her and she hates her job. Then one of the nurses was so incompetent she could not even start the computer. They told me they would send in a script to my pharmacist and when I showed up to pick them up, they forgot to send in the script. My advice is to find anyone but them until they find new employees. read more

I liked the Dr. Desireddi, however I had similar experience like many others here from the support staff. They don't return call, do not let you know the test results, do not return call from the pharmacy for prescription refill. Finally I am switching to another practice. read more

I have to agree with the other posters. In 2014 I had a decent interaction at an office open only one day a week. I went back for a 5 year followup recently, and specifically asked for one test, which I was told that could be done. I have dealt with some dr's offices who try to get you to agree to tests that are unneeded and drive up costs and my ins told me to get quotes and prices before and not to agree to any tests unless they were warranted. The day b4 my followup I spent a combined 2.5 hours trying to call, and was hung up on two times by their phone system. I texted to them what I wanted, as they had texted to me. The next day I arrived and was told they wanted me to give urine, blood, and I said I only wanted a follow up prostate exam- drop drawers and finger. If I needed more, so be it, but AFTER the initial exam. I was told this was not possible and that they could catheter mt bladder or do an ultrasound. I explained I had a deductible and my ins told me to not agree to tests that were unneeded and without costs. The urine and blood tests were unneeded, and I had been told on the phone I could just get a prostate exam, but in person the front office tried to hook me into unneeded procedures. they would not even tell me the costs. They refused me service when I told them I would not agree to tests until AFTER the prostate exam. So, I now have to go elsewhere, and reported them to my insurance, telling them I was refused service. I may have to look to report them to the state board if they try to falsely bill me. I had to do so 20 years ago when an unscrupulous doctor tried to bill me for a visit on a day I was working. This was a different office than my 2014 visit but it's a horror show- crowded, small waiting room, the front office people are rude and dismissive, and I never got the simple follow up I was told I could get. I am greatly disappointed and shocked at how badly run the business side is. Coming here, at least, tells me I am not alone in being treated poorly. In fact, as I waited, there was another patient who walked out of the waiting room after arguing with the staff over some treatment he refused. Drs are not gods, and their staffs certainly are not. They shd know that people have to pay for services, and if they only want test A, telling then they need unneeded tests is just wrong. People who are ill or need help shd not be treated this way. Serve the patient and put your egos aside! Exceedingly sad and disappointed with the service not provided and how far this business has fallen from my experience 5 years ago. read more

I tried to call them back to find out about my test results. Could not get through for weeks. I then called the main office and spoke to Cheryl who really tried her best to get me off the line. She first said that I did something wrong. Then she gave me another number (which remained unanswered too), then said they are in a staff meeting and that I should call again. In between I was placed on hold. Long hold. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she said she is not available. Then she sent me to a non-responsive extension, which seems to be the patern... I am only reviewing this as per my scheduling needs, not for doctor's treatment as I have only visited once and in a short amount of time I cannot judge their efforts. HOWEVER - I have tried multiple times to contact this location and the phone rings and rings and rings and no one answers. They do not list hours of operation on their website and their voicemail prompts keep giving me directions to their Round Rock location. I am hoping someone who works there sees this and changes their forwarding information on their phones to prevent this from happening to there patients. I also hope they decide to list their hours of operation on their website as most other doctors and businesses do. I, like most of us, do not have time to call and be on hold for over 15 minutes without a voicemail or hours of operation listing. I even attempted to contact their central location to ask about the hours of operation in Lakeway and after 3 full minutes of a ringing phone line, the voicemail picked up only to say the mailbox was full and I could not leave a message. read more
