I will never buy or return to this dealership. The purchase experience was satisfactory at best. Then after two months we had a check engine light come on. We scheduled it for service and was treated like a criminal. Never in my lifetime of buying a vehicle have I ever experienced such disrespect. We telephoned the owner and never got a response. Wish I could leave no stars!!! Listen to this!! On the 20th of January I bought an "as is" car from Urse Honda in Whitehall, knowing the conditions of the contract I make sure to ask all the questions about things they find wrong on the car. I was informed by an employee that the cars check engine light was on, but when going over paperwork Urse never mentioned the light. So I ask and they then proceeded to say oh it's for nothing serious, I don't take that as an answer and I ask specifically what it is on for, they said tire pressure sensors (which isn't something the check engine light comes on for) and oxygen sensors. They tell me I may need new sparks plugs and near brakes, not too bad so I sign paper work and the car is mine. Come to find out the check engine light was on for my catalytic converter!! which most of know isn't cheap! That isn't the best part!!! exactly 4 weeks after I bought the car from Urse my motor starts making a knocking noise, I take it to a mechanic and they inform me that there is no oil in my oil pan and that my motor is shot, they asked when I had the oil changed last and I said that based off of paper work Urse informed me that they changed my oil and filter for me before I bought the car. I take the car back to Urse and tell them of my problem and they put it on a lift and find no leak no issues, so where tf did my oil go if you changed my oil for me?? Now I have a $9,000 car that won't run, that I've owned for less then a month and Urse Honda in Whitehall won't take any responsibility for their mistake because I bought it "as is". When they lied to me not only about the check engine light being on, but also about the oil change and my motor. I even had to have a Kia dealership do a diagnostic test to prove to Urse that it was my motor, and they still won't take responsibility! read more

Probably the worst experience buying a car. This is the 7nth car we have purchased between my husband and I. The sales person was very nice but the manager was not. He ignored us for the first hour. Then started to help someone else for 2 more hours and ultimately was rude when he finally spoke to us. They didn't seem to know how to fill out external financing and were annoyed that we would try to buy a vehicle not financing through them. read more

I called and told them exactly what I was looking for with detailed numbers, we face timed around my trade in and gave them all the information (miles, VIN,payoff, etc) they needed. They assured me that my price point was doable and to come on up to confirm the condition of my trade in. I get there and none of this information had been passed on to the sales manager! I've owned 5 or 6 Ram trucks previously and the sales experience at each dealership has been positive except for this one. Do yourself a favor and buy your vehicle anywhere else other than Urse. I live out of state and was trying to coordinate a purchase and dealt with a salesperson (Ametro) that would take days to answer questions. I called and asked for a sales manager so that I could expedite this purchase. I explained the situation (to Chad, I believe) only for them to transfer me seconds later right back to the same unhelpful salesperson. Apparently management can't be bothered to assist either. They're too busy to sell cars, so I would go elsewhere to a dealership that appreciates your business. read more

I had an appointment to get my truck worked on for a tick in the engine. I made a the appointment and was told Aug. 3 at 8:00,which was nearly 3 weeks away, but I took it. Dropped it off yesterday. Today they called and said they had no record of my appointment and couldn't work on it for at least a month. No wonder they have a one star rating!! There went my camping for this year!! I would never buy a vehicle from them again. It took well over 6 hours to buy. Within 3 months of owning the vehicle the tie rod broke and the emery brake was in pieces rubbing against my brake. alled and made an appointment to have 4 new tires installed. Let them know which tires needed ordered and called multiple times prior to the appointment to make sure my tires were ordered. Left multiple messages and never received a call back from the service department. Dropped my car off the night before the appointment just to receive a call almost 8 hours after my appointment time that my tires were never ordered. Call back a few weeks later, make the employee aware of the previous situation and again, place a tire order, drop my car off. Was promised tires were ordered. Again, tires were not ordered and I was notified hours after my appointment time. Go back to pick up my car, was told that tires were being ordered that day and someone would call me to set up a time to have them put on. A week goes by. Call back to check on when I can get my tires installed. Tires are still not available. I will not be utilizing Urse for my services any longer. Their customer service is laughable and I do not recommend anyone have service completed there. read more

I knew there was something wrong with them. Four other bad reviews. So, we found a 2017 Alfa Romeo for sale on a car site. The first time I called, someone answered the phone, something you expect, but was the only time that happened when I called. She transferred me to someone who couldn't answer what the dealership fee was. It took weeks for back and forth, and it took a while to get an answer to that question. They said the system was down for them to give me Virginia sales tax info. Virginia is where I live. The question was what dealership fees do they charge. Out the door price would have been helpful, but they never gave me any info. He would call me just to say he'd call me back. It was the strangest thing. I left two phone messages at the dealership because no one was even answering the phone. It took like a week for a manager to call me, unaware of all that had transpired. He said the car was in Pittsburgh getting a software update, something the sales person didn't seem to know. Literally, weeks later they email me to say they haven't gotten it back and will update me when it is, and he's not sure where the car is. Then, yesterday I get a text from someone else asking me if I'm still looking for a car. I wrote her back saying how they handle things is baffling and that I asked about a specific car I can't get answers about. She said today they sold it on Saturday. First, I'm amazed they sell cars given that they don't know anything about where the car is or the dealership fees or pricing. She apologized for the mix up. It was no mix up. They are truly the worst dealership I've ever encountered. That's saying something. Some are bad, but this one is awful, in my opinion. read more

I brought my Jeep to Urse for a routine oil change and bulb replacement while visiting family over the holidays. While there, my Jeep was parked on a patch of ice and slid into something which dented the fender and scratched one of the wheels. Urse ultimately paid for the repairs, but the process was more difficult than it should have been. I live in Virginia, and had to return that week, so Urse told me to take my Jeep to my usual garage and have them send the estimate to Urse, and they would take care of the rest. I did so but after three days Urse hadn't authorized the garage to do the repair, or respond to them or me in any way. I inquired with Urse and was told, for the first time, that Urse wanted three estimates from which they could choose. This was not feasible for several reasons, especially since the estimate I provided included the price of a rental (which Urse had agreed to pay). I asked to speak to the service manager about it but he was away. I was told the GM was covering service and would call me back. He never did. I had to keep calling Urse over the next two days to get through to someone to help me. Finally, I was told again the GM would call me. He never did. Instead, another lady called to say Urse authorized the repair and that the service manager would call me to go over everything. He never did. The service manager didn't even speak with me the day the wreck happened. Instead, he communicated with me from his office via the service advisor. I think a service manager should have the courtesy to speak with a customer directly in this type of situation to ensure the customer that the matter will be resolved to satisfaction. But that never happened. No apology or attempt to make up for the damage beyond the bare minimum was ever attempted. No manager ever spoke with me, though I was told to expect a call from one on three separate occasions. The repair is now complete, but body work never fully restores a vehicle, and my trade-in value will ultimately suffer because of it. read more

Where do I begin? Urse Dodge provided my husband with a lease vehicle, an eco diesel ... that has been in the shop for the third time after presenting the same symptoms. It took 21 days to "fix" this time (around a couple weeks previous times). The "fix" happens to involve purchasing -from dodge- an additive to every fuel up. They cannot even assure us the problem is diagnosed and resolved. We explain that we both work. A loaner vehicle is not an option with them. We say I am almost 8 mo.s pregnant and cannot risk being brought to the hospital and have it break down again -each time it has only been a month or so between repairs when the same issue occurred and stalled the vehicle. So we ask for trade options into something reliable, but somehow there are no other options to trade for but something way more expensive. We have zero confidence in the performance of this vehicle because it seems obvious it is a flaw in the eco diesel emission system that dodge hasn't figured out yet, and we resent being party to an experiment while our livelihoods and my and my child's safety are at risk. We ask for a way out of the lease and compensation for a lost trade investment - not to mention compensation for lost wages from being compromised in transport, the extra travel expenses incurred in getting a fixer upper to use during the lengthy repair - but of course they can't do that either. Every dead end is met with little sympathy, and statements like "our hands are tied take it up with corporate." We took it up with dodge chrysler customer care and they said they can't do anything, and that we should go back to the dealership. We sent a letter to "Doug Urse" last week and never heard back. Not once did they offer to advocate for their consumer by contacting corporate with us. They claim to offer customer service, but what they give you are excuses and then try to make more money off of you. I will be taking it up with the attorney general, consumer affairs and continue discussing this with our attorney. read more

i wouldnt buy a used bike from urse dodge. bought a used car from them a year ago and have had nothing but issues from the service department.the manager even went as far as to tell me 'its just better if you buy new'. really? they refuse to service any used car that they sell, they just pawn me off on larry myers when i have an issue. larry myers has been nothing but nice so needless to say, ill be buying my 'its just better if you buy new' car from larry myers!!! read more
