WARNING- I may be biased. I have owned several Hondas in the past and loved them all, but with this review, I am reviewing not the product- but the service and salesmanship. We had been looking at another make and model at a different local dealership and I just happened to see (online) that Honda was re-introducing the Passport. My husband and I stopped by and a salesman, Wayne showed us the different trim levels and set up test drive for us. It was good bit more $$$$ than the other vehicle we were considering, but It had all of the creature comforts that our previous SUV had along with being a bit larger. Both Wayne and the owner established such a positive line of communication and were very transparent with negotiations. Atmosphere: B (maybe more private areas for discussions?) Attention: A Communication: A Negotiation: A Availability of item: A "what a deal" feeling: A At the end of the day- a successful business transaction should be measured by how much the customer feels as if they were treated well. I have to say that Urse Honda is great. I just purchased a new car there. The dealer and salesman were very gracious . I originally went there to get my Ridgeline serviced. The service was timely and better than we expected. So I took a chance and talked with the sales staff. I have a new Accord to add to my Ridgeline. I expect both to last a long time and I am planning on using the service department regularly. 8/27/13- I guess they will say anything to get a sale, but they are not very responsive after the sale. I am glad I bought the product because it was good and I may start to rethink the service thing...hummm read more

My girlfriend and I were looking at cars and there was a new 2015 Civic on the lot advertised as a "deep discount" (by this point 2017 models were on the lot too). I asked how deep the discount was and they refused to tell us without us test driving it. We decide to play along and go on the test drive. We get back and the salesman would still not tell us the discounted price without appraising our trade, so we wait half an hour for this process. The salesman comes out back with a pricing sheet showing the trade in at $500 above Kelley Blue Book and no discount on the new car. I ask what the discount is on the car and the salesman explains that it is the extra trade in tacked-on. At this point we stand up to walk out, but the salesman gets the sales manager to come over (I assumed to offer us a more realistic deal). He comes back and explains to us how we are wrong about expecting more than $500, but offers us another $500 off. Keep in mind that this is a 2-model year old car, and a last generation at that. The unrealistic "deep discount" and waste of an hour of our time were bad enough, but as we were leaving I asked that they give us a call if they wanted to come down on the price, and the sales manager rudely ignored us. It's a shame because I like Hondas and have been satisfied owning them, but if I get one it'll be used as this is my only local dealer. They could have simply told us the ballpark price from the start and saved everyone their time. read more

Salesperson was caught in a lie, and rather than just apologize and move on, we were berated for trying to get a fair deal. Short version - were told our trade was worth about a thousand less because the airbag had been deployed according to carfax. We didn't believe it, but took the salesperson's word for it. We go home and check carfax and find that it doesn't say anything of the sort. We confront salesperson (Denny Cochran) with the info, since he had told us the car would be worth more if it weren't for that, and were told he misread it. But then he went on to blame the lower trade value on something else. There comes a point when even the most ignorant car buyer is gonna be sitting there in that chair and realize that they're being fed a complete line of BS. We had a dealer in Ohio willing to give us everything we wanted for $1200 less, and Urse wasn't even willing to come close. We walked. And then drove to Ohio to buy from the other dealer, who treated us great. Would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a new car and be treated fairly. If you're looking for the stereotypical lying car saleperson, then Urse might be your dealership. Always double check what you're told before you sign anything! read more

Terrible, took my civic in to get issues with my AC , dashboard lights, and starting trouble fixed. They told me that I needed a new air compressor and it was causing everything so they overcharged me for the diagnostics the labor and parts. But on my way home in the highway it all started again. I took it back the next day, sat in the waiting room for and hour and a half before I saw my car go back and it came back out about 15 minutes later... I wait another hour and nobody says anything and I ask about my car, and the guy asks ME if I know what he did with the papers...wait another 45 minutes for them to say oh yeah we couldn't figure it out someone was gonna call the main call center... when they were back from lunch. Finally after they were supposedly on hold for another full hour I asked for my car back, and finally after all that they tried to charge me again for the second time in two days for the diagnostic test which was 75 or 80 dollars. They then told me they would give me a call when they get it sorted out with the main center....They never called me back. My roommate also scheduled to get a recall fixed on his car and was told we will give you a call back to schedule it, it took them 2.5 weeks and 2 more phone calls to get a call back and by then he already had to leave for thanksgiving break. And here we go again. My Nissan Versa is now at Harry Green getting the front rotors replaced. I have a bill from Urse saying they replaced my front rotors on 11/17/15, and charged me $269. They did NOTHING to my car on 11/17/15, and not only charged me for nothing but created a hazardous driving situation for me. This company shouldn't even be in business. Let's just say I had a really bad experience with their service department on a repair of my 02 Civic. Stuck on vacation and left my car there, thinking they had the expertise and knowledge to fix it properly and quickly. That did not happen.Three weeks later, I got my car. I was told different things by different people. Do NOT let them do anything unless you get it in writing. I ended up with a huge bill. Live and learn. read more

Highly recommend purchasing a Honda, highly recommend you get it elsewhere! I bought a 2007 Honda CRV EX-L and was sold OEM accessories that either didn't exist or where not for my vehicle. OEM accessories sold to me not available day of purchase, very understandable. Day I went to get them put on....they forgot to sell me the accessories, to make the ones I did purchase, fit/work. After this was settled, the parts I did want....didn't fit (this was blamed on their computer system saying items where what they where not). Their solution, come back another day. 2nd visit, wrong accessory ordered again...the one I originally ordered supposedly "didn't exist" (ski/snowboard rack up to 4 skis, 2 snowboards). Their suggestion...pick either a ski rack or snowboard rack. (Then what's the point?)Their lack of responsibility and knowledge of the products they sale sit very poorly with me. If you decide to buy a vehicle from Urse Honda, double and triple check what you are offered in your purchase, make sure it exists, make sure it's for your vehicle, and then add 1-2+ hours to the time they give for them to attach anything. read more
