I'd like to preface by saying that I love the car I got. I bought a rav4 from here maybe two months ago, and during the cold season smells in cars aren't easily detectable vs in summer. So when I went to get in my car recently and it was hot inside, my entire car reeked of cigarette smoke. I called because surely they'd know if the one previous owner smoked in it. They said they didn't know anything about it and that the car had been detailed. Which, it obviously hadn't been because the mats have grime on them as well. At best they did a light vacuum in the car. So now I get to drop 300$ on shampooing the whole inside of my car (: They didn't change the air filter in the glove compartment and they couldn't even be bothered to fill the tank for me when I bought it. You would think that they would give their customers a clean car with a full tank. read more

Don't buy from here. Mike is a scummy cocky owner. Just another "auto sales" that flips bad cars. Supposedly he has a mechanic at the shop. Before selling the car to us (15k cash), his "mechanic" replaced the alternator. A week and half after buying the car we heard vibration from the car. Took it to Christian Brothers who did a thorough inspection. The lady said she felt bad for us for buying the car. She said the engine might being consuming oil because the dipstick was very dry with no oil leaks. Also had a dirty engine air filter. The timing belt is in terrible shape. They also said the alternator was not properly installed. Mike had no records of him changing the oil prior. So now we have to wait to see if we have a bad engine and if it needs to be replaced. Clearly he doesn't do a thorough pre inspection when selling the car even though he has a mechanic. He pretty much said "you're buying what you're paying for". If you want a place that just flips cars, here you go. If you want a used car that actually inspects the car before selling it..I recommend some where else. This isn't my first time buying a used car. I've had other places fix issues before selling the car. Also, don't buy the Acura RDX that's on the lot right now..you can tell that car has issues when you pull it out of the lot. read more

When buying a car, finding what you want is key. Well U.S. 30 Auto had the car I was looking for. They had it listed for just above market value (which was to be expected from any used car dealer). They gave me a great deal on my trade in so I didn't haggle much on price. They also found a bank for my financing. The owner (I believe) was friendly enough, and let me take the car for a test drive without pressure or hassle and I was permitted to test drive by myself. while all of that was great! And I love my car as it is what I was really looking for. I found that $2,500 dollars in repairs in 6 months after purchase is a bit excessive. I knew about a few of the issues as I am mechanically inclined enough to look for the majority of issues, but there were things such as oil leaks that they hide from the consumer by cleaning up and detailing the engine bay. Also someone had broke the dipstick tube off in the motor and sealed it then tried gluing a faux tube in place. I'm not sure if U.S. 30 Auto was aware of that fact or not, but it seemed shady if you ask me. Also, when I arrived (hour drive for me to get there) no one was around in the middle of the day on a friday. I made an appointment to test drive the car and they were close to an hour or 2 late- really irritating. The car I purchased was as is, so I know I can't go back to them but the issues, however, they should offer a 30 or 90 day guarantee to make certain their customers aren't getting screwed. I made my purchase and am happy with it, but I would recommend anyone looking to buy, to go someplace with at the very least a minimal conditional warranty. In all average dealership, average prices, and nice guys. But I probably would not return unless for the perfect car again. read more

You must avoid this dealer. They are corrupt, unfair, unprofessional, two-faced , underhanded and dishonorable. An agreement was made, put in writing, executed (bill of sale) , delivery date agreed to, repairs to be made agreed to,......and was sold to another party. Shady, dishonest, underhanded and crooked. My husband just purchase a truck from them end of November 2015 and trade in his 2008 orange dodge ram 1500 . please do not purchase any of there vehicles ! When my husband and I trade in his dodge ram it had almost 200,000 miles and they were listing it online that it had 75,000 miles ! let me just say this ... it has a lot of problems and hints of my why were selling it when we just dump almost 5,400 dollars to repair the motor. I did call the office and asked about the truck like I was interested, and I was really hoping it was an error they made online about the mileage but low and behold ,he said the truck had 75,000 miles . well they I told him who I was and let him know that I was going to report him to Lisa Madigan and report him to the better business bureau ! he kept arguing with me about the truck and he was basically speechless that I would call and confront him ,and to be honest it pretty sad he has to lie to make a living especially when we purchased a truck from him. so buyer please be aware! !! p.s after I got off the phone with the owner of the dealership,he quick took off my husband dodge ram off his website because he knew he mess up . we'll good thing I have screen shot of the truck being advertised ;) and I still have the Vin number of the truck with the mileage when I sold it to him ! read more

Do NOT buy from these people! They are deceitful and fraudulent. We were about to buy a truck from them, but then we ran the VIN number. Turns out the truck has frame damage! These people never once brought it up, never mentioned it, and they tried to sell the truck at market value to us!
