But if you have a prepaid label, there is a self-help kiosk that's open 25/7. This location has the latest stamps for Christmas. They even have beautiful Mary and Jesus stamps! Her peer was asking me the necessary questions to get my business done however, when Kim scanned my barcode, she just looked at me and said it expired. I asked, "how I feel like they just sent it to me." They said I had 20 days and she said, "it's not my policy. It's the United States post office policy.." and just look at me with the blank face. Because she was unable to provide me any additional information while she was looking inside of her computer screen that I believe had that information I then asked to speak to a manager. Kim went and got a manager very flippantly and never came back. I think they should have some better customer service and/or sensitivity training. People shouldn't be treated that way. I was very respectful my entire visit and was able to wrap up my visit very well with her peer. He was very very friendly. I should've got his name. However, Kim, given the fact that you work in a customer facing environment, you should learn how to be more customer service oriented because I gotta tell you your work professional could've use some improvement.

Unfortunately, the DPS is an entirely different experience. Both offices may provide the necessary documents for operating a vehicle in Texas, but the speed of service is worlds apart. The problem is not with the efficiency of the workers themselves; the problem is with the number of workers. DPS needs to open more offices or greatly increase the number of windows open at each office. There is simply too much demand for the supply. Yes, the employees operating the line inside and outside are bitchy. But who can blame them? They're out there day in and day out dealing with crowds of people who don't want to be there, who are inpatient, rude, and unmerciful toward the employees. Their employer offers them no hope of improvement - no light at the end of the tunnel where they'll hire 50 new workers to meet the demand, reduce the stress, and relieve them of their burden. This is their life. Every day. Dealing with this line, these people, this work environment. Of course they're bitchy! Outside of increasing the number of service windows, my suggested improvements would be to allow people to make appointments days or weeks in advance (California DMV does this), to increase the size of the waiting room so more people can be seated indoors, to install some sort of shade structure for those waiting outdoors in the heat or rain, to make more services available online or at AAA, and to remove the "no food inside" rule. There's a good number of kids that get dragged to the DMV, and it's unreasonable to remove snacks as a distraction while they wait for so long. In case it helps, I tried for days to make a same day appointment online and there were never any appointments available. I showed up on a Friday at 10am but the line was literally around the building so I drove home. Today I showed up at 7:30 and I was probably the fiftieth person in line. I got in the building a little after 8 and was out the door by 9am. I did discover that you can get a same day appointment if you go to their website at 7am ON THE DOT, but I decided to just show up and wait. All in all, an hour and a half isn't the worst wait I've had at a DMV before. This may be Texas, the land of deregulation and limited government, but it's still the DMV guys.

We went on a Friday morning got there around 7:25, someone came in line about 7:40 split the lines asks what we were there for. While the NRH Library isn't as modern and expansive as some libraries in larger cities like Dallas or Austin, there's a simple beauty in its organization, cleanliness, and welcoming/helpful staff. The staff are always welcoming and helpful in finding or directing you towards the book you're searching for. Their websites is one of the easier library sites to navigate, they include an event schedule separated into sections for adults, teens, and children--which is a small but helpful feature. They have a drive-thru type of book drop off, so you don't have to physically walk into the library to drop off your library books. They even host the Mid-Cities Teen Book Festival which features various events along with a free lunch that our entire family looks forward to each year! The MakerSpace is an area for arts and crafts and other events for teens and kids, they have Study Rooms for studying, and occassional book sales. It's also close by the NYTEX Centre (ice skating/hockey) and the NRH Centre (arts and recreation) which is very convenient! Highly recommend this library.

Hiyi everybody! Hopefully your entire life is going swimmingly. If not, turn off the news, turn off…read moresocial media, tune in to you for a change. Find a great noun to channel into. One person, one place, one thing, for one moment. Yesterday I had breakfast going, but needed to ship a package. I allowed myself to channel positivity. I told myself there would be no line, there would be an uplifting postal worker waiting to be greeted by my positive vibe, and I would return that positive vibe in kind. I used the self service kiosk. It weighed my package, scanned it's correct size, and boom, printed out a sticky printed label. I'm set. Okay so the orinter was out of ink for my receipt for tracking. Guess what? 2 employees, 1 customer at the counter. I was ushered to the next with a pleasant greeting, and a big smile. I returned both. In less than 3 minutes, I had a receipt and was on my way home to finish preparing to break the fast. This was truly thanks to streamlining at the PO. The kiosk, the humans, being awesome, and my having my package wrapped up properly. Nothing was left shaken, but the thick cut applewood smoked bacon, and that was taken. New week starts tomorrow peeps. Ya ready? I hope everyone has a gloriously gorgeous Monday. Hope you get good rest tonight, have the money dream and wake up to it being real. I hope you remember to love yourself truly and let no one tell you that you're not worthy of love. Do some stretches so you can give yourself a big hug. If we're superable, embrace yourself metaphysically, spiritually, from inside your beating heart. I thank you for sharing this moment with me. You deserve 5 stars for every second you gave me and I appreciate you for each one. Peace.

I was told they had some of Mary and Baby Jesus, but they sold out and have no more. I'm confused with why USPS would not have Jesus. So my rating is a very low 3-star because of the lack of stamp selection, and my waiting time was high. They had 4 attendants, but everything moved very slow. So I stood in line (I was first in line for 15 minutes) and bought no stamps. None.
