THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I was refferred to them by 3 brothers moving company as the best option for transferring my car between California and Texas and i was connected to a guy named RONNIE. Him and his whole team are a SCAM. They told me they would pick my vehicle on 8/19 and then i called them MULTIPLE TIMES through out the day and they kept saying they are going to call me back with a status and the whole day passed without any call! Come to find out they never actually had a driver!!! My broker, if you would even give the respect to call him that, was a dishonest, unethical, inefficient, and just a down right unequipped person to do this type of job. My original "estimate" ended up being three times less than the strong armed position that he and his company put me in when I was moving 500 miles away to relocate with my partner for his job. Then to find out after I specifically said "I will be paying with my NAVY FEDERAL CARD they suddenly could only accept zelle. Which in terms of business is not a legitimate form of a transaction. I offered several other options for payment which would have protected myself and them for the transaction not only could they not comprehend this, but they wouldn't hear anything about it. Even after I had explained to the broker the dealer the transport everyone who had their greasy shady hands in on this transaction that I would be traveling throughout the Appalachian mountains and would have poor or spotty if any service at all on this move. Not only was the service that was arranged LATE by hours for pickup they were also HOURS late for delivery. When I asked for proof of delivery, the driver couldn't understand. Not only did this company break several federal trade laws but my state of residence has their own laws to protect people like myself from people like this. I will be contacting the BBB, my state of residence, because I haven't moved everything yet and my rent is paid for th remainder of the month, attorney general in regards to NC G.S. in regards to this... I will also be contacting my own legal representative for the additional stress to my health to an already stressful time with some who has my health conditions.... There's very little about this company as a whole or any of their "drivers/services" that I would trust to be on the honest side of legal. Buyer beware!!! read more

Originally was gonna cost me 1400 to ship my car from az to nc , Ronnie told me my $200 deposit was refundable, 2 days before car gets picked up a guy named ray calls me trying to find a driver and is having trouble finding someone when I booked this over a month before, and every time he called me with an update he raised the price $200, eventually the price was at $2000, none of the drivers spoke English, nor did they know what was going on, asked for a refund and ray said they don't do them. Totally scammed me, Ronnie (Ron Gordon) is the guy I spoke to initially and he quoted me 1300, took a security deposit of 200$ (which is theft not even bad business at this point bc he won't return it) then upon no communication on the pick-up date, I called the company only to find out that the dispatcher won't let the driver pick up until 1800$ are paid. Ronnie calls me back only to call me cheap and bitter for not accepting this price, absolutely unethical. HORRIBLE PEOPLE, DISHONEST AND ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. Everything in the beginning was good. They gave me a good price and were flexible. Upon reservation they required a deposit. I had specifically asked if the deposit is refundable as I am seperating from the military, and the location I was going to kept changing. Long story short, I had a change of locations and did not require the shipping services since the drive was only 7 hours away. I called to cancel and to get my deposit back and now all of a sudden it's non refundable. The manager whom I spoke to personally stopped returning my calls and messages. They promised me "credit" for my next order, but I will not be moving anytime soon, as I am out of the military now . From previous reviewers, I am glad I only lost my deposit, and not the rest of the money some people have lost here. BUYER BEWARE FRAUD SCAMMERS If there was a no star answer they would receive this. I started out on the internet requesting car shipping quotes and received several texts from different companies. "Paul" or whomever it really was contacted me and let me know he could get the car shipped for the date that I requested and it would take 2 days. I was shipping the car from New Haven to Tampa Florida. He sent an agreement and asked for the $150.00 deposit upfront. I took care of all these items and then explained I would not be there I had an early flight that morning and my father would wait around for the time slot he gave me which was 2-4pm. I heard NOTHING all day and by 2:45 I got concerned so I called Paul. He said he would contact the driver and get back to me. He then called me back stating the driver had some delays which is understandable but still did not give an eta. After another hour I hear nothing from Paul or this driver. I then reach out to Paul again and he gives me the name and number of the driver " Patrick". Call Patrick and text several times with no response. I then call Paul AGAIN and he magically gets in contact with the driver and now he is supposedly 120 miles away. ANother hour goes by still no communication. At this point I am furious I call Paul again and ask what is going on with this driver and why is he not communicating at all. ALl of the sudden the driver text that he is in Charleton not even sure where that is. He now says his truck has mechanical issues and he wont be there tonight. I then call Paul and say this is unacceptable and Paul tells me that he magically again found another driver and I would just have to pay $1300 more!!!!!!!! I signed a contract for $500.00. NO WHERE DOES IT STATE THIS WOULD EVEN BE A POSSIBILITY. THEY ARE A HUGE SCAM AND DID THIS ON PURPOSE TO GET MORE MONEY FROM ME. DO NOT TRUST THEM DO NOT USE THEM. This company is a scam if it's even a company. I was dealing with Paul Smith and was given excuses on why the truck hadn't gotten to the pickup location. He takes a long time to answer your emails and when he does it's a excuse on why the truck hasn't gotten there. They charge a deposit and will never do that again since they don't give refunds even if they haven't done anything for you. I have never used a car transport before and because of them I will never try to use one again. I wish I could come on here and tell you that I had a wonderful experience with U.S. Auto Shipping, but that would be a lie. This was so awful that I feel a moral obligation to tell you all to stay as far away from this company as possible. If I had to break it down, the problems came down to: (1) LACK OF COMMUNICATION, (2) DELAY, and (3) DISHONEST PRICE. LACK OF COMMUNICATION: I set up the car pick-up over a month in advance. It was supposed to be picked up on a Monday, and I was supposed to receive a phone call a few days in advance. Mid-way through that Monday, I still had not heard anything, so I gave the company a call. The guy answered apathetically but, upon looking up my job number, he became slightly panicked and said, "Uh... looks like we might not have a driver yet..." Really? You're just realizing this half-way through the pick-up date? When was someone going to tell me about this? What would have happened if I didn't call? Would my car have just sat there forever? Over the next week and a half, I had to call EVERY DAY to try to figure out what we were going to do about my car. Over SEVEN TIMES I was promised a call back later that day, but I heard NOTHING. So the car was not picked up, I had no idea when or if it was ever going to get picked up, and they weren't calling me back. This was disgraceful. DELAY: Again, it took a week and a half to get the car picked up. The guy on the phone said it was because of tornadoes -- "I don't know if you've been following the news, but there have been tornadoes everywhere and they're closing all the roads!" Ok... I read the news every single day and never heard anything about tornadoes, then I did an extensive Google News search for anything containing the word "tornado." There was ONE tornado in Alabama (my car was being shipped from Massachusetts to California) a week and a half before the pickup date that news articles characterized as very minor. In other words, U.S. Auto Shipping lied. What really happened is that they dropped the ball and forgot about my car until I called them on the pickup date. I cannot tell you how huge of an inconvenience this was. I was moving cross country. I just sold my condo so I no longer had anywhere to park the car and I did not have a registered permit as required to park it on city streets. This was an absolute disaster. DISHONEST PRICE: I only booked U.S. Auto Shipping because their price was the lowest ($1050). The real price ended up being over $1600. Yes, you read that right -- they forgot about my car, got it picked up a week and a half late, then had the nerve to charge me over 50% more than the price. DO NOT USE! These people are liars and thieves. I contacted them (Nathan specifically) on May 2nd of 2022 to move a car from Hemet california to Lebanon oregon. My mothers house was sold on the 27th of May and we needed to be out by June 1st. I requested a pick up day of May 30th which I knew would be tough because of the holiday but Nathan said they could do it, the quote I got stated pickup of 5/29-5/30. On 5/28 I called to confirm, no answer on the phone so I left a message, got a text back saying to call his partner Ronnie. Called Ronnie, no answer and could not leave a message. May 29th, the day I hoped they would show up still have not heard anything, Called Nathan again and left a message. He texted me back again saying to call Ronnie and another offices number, I tried both and no answer. I texted Nathan back saying I got no response from either and he replied he was sure the pickup would be tomorrow, the 30th, which would still be fine. The next day, the 30th, I try calling Ronnie again and actually got through, he said the driver would be there that day and would call to confirm. By 4 o'clock still have not heard anything, called Nathan again, he texted back that Ronnie would show up and if I had the drivers phone number, I was not given the drivers phone number. He said he would call Ronnie in the morning if he did not show, the 31st would still have been acceptable, barely. Next day, the 31st, still nothing. Called Ronnie again, got through and he's all pissy and say's they will not be out for a few more days, I can't stay in a motel for a few more days with my Mom and her cat, plus pay more on my car rental. Call Nathan again and just get a text back saying how tough things are, the whole industry is backed up and nobody wants to go all the way to Oregon for just one car. Then why did he say they would a month ago? I called another mover (Montway) who said they would be out next day. I then call Nathan and said I was going to use someone else who would be out the next day. Told him I wanted my deposit back because his guy never showed up. He responded by saying the other movers were liars and would not show up, while I was texting him the other movers called back and said they could be there in 2 hours! They showed up 2 hours later and got the car. Texted Nathan back and told him the car was gone and I would dispute the deposit with AMEX, he said I would lose since I signed an agreement, he signed the agreement too and did not fullfill it so I think I have a case. Nathan then said he would refund me since they did not do the job. Several days later I text him to ask when the refund will come back, crickets. So, if these guys don't want to do the job, they'll still take your money, then give you the run around for days, make excuses then finally say they don't want to do it then try to blame you for breaking the contract. I would not recommend them under any circumstances! EDIT: A MONTH later (6/28) I get a call from some guy who says he's there to pick up the car! Really? These incompetent fools expected me to spend a month in a motel waiting for them? what a joke! read more

I was referred to US Auto Shipping by another company in part because of the quote which was confirmed by Nathan at USAS. I was sent an invoice twice with the agreed upon amount. I sent a deposit to him via Venmo. I received a call for my car to be picked up one month early and Nathan denied he made a mistake. But when the scheduled time came and went, I had to call and arrange everything with the driving company. When I dropped off my car, the driver - not an employee of US Auto Shipping but yet another company- informed me of the amount still owed. It is $200 more than my original invoice. One person at US Auto, when I informed them said, "I don't care," and then Nathan said, "Oh, there was a typo," and printed up a new invoice with a new amount. They have my car and to get it I have to pay the driver. These people are scammers and will take advantage of you. Time to go to the better business bureau. read more
