My first time here! Super great experience! I booked a 3 minute Whole Body Cryo session online with ClassPass which was super easy to do! The booking window is 30 minutes which is nice so that your not rushing. When I arrived, they had some screens to check in on. I didn't know how to use them, but the young man at the desk was super nice and friendly and helpful. For the whole body cryo, you basically go into something that looks like a restaurant kitchen freezer (the freezers that you walk inside). There's a big window on the side of the freezer, so if something happens the workers and everyone in the shop can see. I like this because it makes it super safe. But it's also good to know so you can plan your outfit accordingly haha! Before you go into the Freezer, you strip in the lobby and put all your stuff in a cubby. No jewelers or electronics can go inside. The cryo works best with more skin exposed, but you can dress to the level of your comfort. I wore shorts and a top. They provide mittens, a beanie, and ear covers for you, as well as socks and fuzzy slippers to wear in the freezer. You need to wear a mask in the freezer because it actually helps your breathing. The freezer has some cool stereo system so be sure to put your favorite song on using the computer before you go in! It helps a lot haha! The freezer time can be adjusted anywhere from 1:30 - 3 minutes is recommended. I did 2:45 because it was my first time. Before you go inside, they measure your body temp, and again after you get out. My body temperature dropped 40 degrees while in the freezer. The staff person was great gave me time measures while I was in the freezer - super friendly and positive person. There is plenty of parking outside the shop. And they have super comfy couches and chairs to sit in while your there. I had a great experience overall and I will definitely be back again! read more

My husband has been a member/going here for nearly three years. He was one of the first people to sign up and he's been here since then. He has lots of aches and pains since he is a fitness trainer/manager/GM for the past 6+ years. He swears that the chamber does wonders for him. He usually goes in there for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. I belive that is the maximum time. I posted a few pictures of how cold the temperature is in there. Can you believe it is ~-169°?! Yes, that's right! Negative! BBBRRR!! They have had limited hours since they re-opened a few months ago due to the pandemic; but, he still goes to this location even if it's once or twice a week. Actually, due to his work schedule, he has been going there that duration for awhile. Lindsey has been here for about three years and she is always so welcoming to him and my girls. My girls will sit and wait for him and she will talk and engage with them when it isn't busy. My husband said he has seen how some members speak to her and she handles it very firmly and eloquently. She is such a sweetheart and is always professional on the few occasions I go with him. Last week Aaron renovated US Cryotherapy and it looks really nice. It's always been clean whenever I have walked in; but, it looks better now. They added comfy lounge chairs and two more Normatec leg boots for members. My husband bought his own and has had muscle guns for nearly two years; but, they have these here too. I initially came here for an elite event, but ended up buying the Executive Membership, which is $99 for 4 sessions a month. I have to say at first I was pretty skeptical about cryotherapy, but since I got a free session I thought I'd give it a try. But now I can't deny the way I feel afterwards and its affects. You have to think about it as therapy (it's in the name, but I think people forget) - healing for your body. And it makes a lot of sense what it's doing. You're basically shocking your body by going into a sub zero (-160 to -180 degree) chamber for 3.5 minutes and your body temp drops ideally at least 35+ degrees, which encourages faster cell production, recovery, less inflammation, better circulation, etc. Depending on the session, I've also noticed other benefits like more energy and better sleep. Besides the chamber, they also have other feel good aids like the Normatec compression sleeves for your legs (my fav) - I usually go for 15-20 minutes and they have a systematic way of tightening certain areas up and down your legs to help with circulation and blood flow. The water massage bed I usually go on for 10 minutes - pretty self explanatory. The infrared sauna is nice to warm up. The theragun feels soooo good and you can focus on a certain area if you want. Same thing with the cold air hose. I swore the other day I had whiplash from falling on my back down the stairs, my neck was so tight and that cold air felt amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful - especially Lindsey, Emily, and Justin. Aaron the owner is super nice too. My friend and I have made our sessions kind of our catch up girls date. Hi! I met the owner of US Cryotherapy at an event at Elite Training Center in Pleasanton (which is a great gym, by the way). Anyway, I went to US Cryotherapy and used their full service treatment. Two and half minutes in the very cold box, then warmed up a bit on a bike. Next, the Zimmer chiller was focused on my lower back, which has been causing issues for me lately. Next, I used the massage water therapy bed, which was AMAZING. I felt so good afterwards. I was lucky because I showed up right when they opened, and was able to get full explanations of what everything was about, a tour of the place, and was ready to jump right in! If you suffer from chronic pain, or even just stress too, this place is something you need to check out. The endorphin release after getting out of the cold chamber feels so good. After going through extreme testing, I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my back. The L 3 and 5 slipped and I had narrowing in my spine along with arthritis. I was in pain. My physical therapist recommended ice, ice, and more ice. She said if I could possibly go to a cryotherapy business it would really help the inflammation since it was my entire back. I have seen the whole Cryo Crazy on social media, I do MMA so I have seen a bunch of fighter doing this type of recovery. I'm lucky enough to have a crazy sister who is always into stuff like that so I offered to take her and her boyfriend here with me for my 1st time. This place is pretty easy to find it's inside a small strip mall with a ton of parking. You sign up they have a few questions to ask about your health what aches ect. We only have one body and I plan to live to 100 or longer. I really try to take care of myself by working out 7 days a weak, stretching doing yoga ect. Taking care of my health is key for long happy life. So why not give Cryo a try. Anyways You get geared up with gloves, a Bennie, they have a Pandora so you can pick any song you want. The main Cryo area is more like a large freeze on steroids; it's controlled by fans so you are not breathing or dealing with nitrous cryo that u can't breathe in or anything crazy. They have 2 stages. I picked a pump up song for us the 1st step is like being into a freezer just to get your body use to the cold. It was really short like 10 to 20 seconds, then you jump into the main unit. They check your temps before you go in and 92 my sister was 88. You are said to do 2:30 is about the avg for new people. But me being a competitive person. I wanted to go the longest. Got to show your sister what an Alpha male you are. I didn't really start feeling it to about 2:00 mins in when i was breathing in the extreme cold even with the mask on. I was told to put my gloves near my mouth and control my breathing this really helped me. My sister boyfriend went out at 2:30 so I stayed in for 3:30 with my sister this is about the max amount of time you need to do as the goal is to drop 30 c or so to get the effects. When I got out I was 52 and my sister was 48. I'm pretty sure this is due to me being a lot larger then her with more fat and more lean mass. After you get out; they have a few machines for you to use. I did a bit of cardio to get my blood flow running. They have a few you can pick from. Then they have like a snow machine that looks like a vacuum cleaner it feels like where they can hit a part of your body with cold icy air as a local treatment. I I did my neck and shoulders it was like snowboarding when it's snowing out. It felt like that. The staff here was very friendly I was talking to the owner Aaron who was very friendly. The staff was very kind and help me with information on the process and how to make the most of the facilities they have to offer. Justin and there was a girl but I forget her name. All very nice and friendly. My sister really liked the machine that compress your leg. It's a bit on the pricey side starting at $20 bucks to $40 per session so doing it can add up. They do offer packages and deals. I did use my yelp discount and Aaron was kind enough to take care of me and my family with a good deal. It was pretty cool; I'm still unsure if this was like amazing and something I would keep on doing. It kind of felt like when I workout and do all my stretching and get a massage after. So my body felt good but it was like night and day different from my normal stuff/ So it was like the same type of results done in the cold I guess. The process and the place is very cool and something if you have the cash and want to try it. It's something you should at least try one time in your life. For the active people, weightlifter, runners, power lifters, mma, boxing, something that is taken a toll on your body this might be something worth the check out. Talk about a SUPER endorphin rush! This place was nothing short of amazing. I had no idea I could feel like this again! The whole experience felt very comfortable, friendly, and well executed by the staff. The staff was knowledgable and engaged with helping me improve my wellness accordingly to my lifestyle and needs. First, I learned that cryotherapy is an unbelievable method to heal your body of so many different imbalances such as: inflammation, improved immune system, increase blood flow, healing, recovery, improve skin, weight loss, cellulite reduction, improve sleep quality, endorphin rush, stress reliever, relaxation, and just overall wellness. I heard about cryotherapy from my friend who swears by it, she uses it for improving her immune system! The endorphin release creates support for the immune system. She does it 4x/ week. Elaine was counting down by every :30 which helped out by adding comfort / team feeling. Right after, they quickly checked my body temperature (60 degrees) and I felt absolutely amazing! IMMEDIATELY! But it doesn't stop there.... I warmed back up on an elliptical machine for 3-5 min and THEN received a 10 min hydromassage? US Cryotherapy in Pleasanton is an AMAZING place. Aaron, who is the owner, is not only knowledgeable about the science behind his business but genuinely cares about his members. You won't meet a more easy going person too. I think of him as a friend now and sincerely appreciate what he has done for me. Plus, his entire team is super friendly and make you feel really special every time you walk in. They go above and beyond the call of duty, throwing in all sorts of extra services that are not even part of my actual membership. Specifically, one of the employees, Cameron, helps me stretch out after I come out of the Chamber and it really loosens up all my muscles. He's always willing to show me different balancing techniques, which has vastly improved my flexibility. The stretching has considerably improved my performance when I workout so I have to give this guy a shout-out. I am the owner of 9Round in Pleasanton and feel exhausted after my workouts because we do High Intensity Interval Training. My entire body used to get really sore from the daily kickbox circuit training but now that I started doing whole body cryotherapy, I recover fast and am able to push myself harder the next day. The technology they have here is incredible -- going in the chamber is an incredible experience. I feel a huge rush of adrenaline when I come out and can't wait to warm up on the exercise equipment they have. Also, I had some moderate pain in my wrist but doing the local treatments regularly has greatly improved my range of motion and the pain is gone!
