It has been a minute since my last visit to Arctic restore. I used to get my well-being sessions while my children were getting their facials. I don't know where to begin with how much I gained from seeing Jessie at Arctic Restore. I initially went because I learned about the emerald laser from my chiropractor who also has a great interest in low level light laser therapies. Jessie interviewed me to confirm if I was a good candidate and she paired it with lymphatic drainage massage and red light therapy sessions. At most I was hoping to gain a little tone back with a totally non-invasive technology, which in itself seems too good to be true. What I didn't expect was my dramatic improvement in overall wellness. I was recently diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome with life long issues suddenly worsening in the last three years. I had significant instability in my shoulder, neck and foot, and bouts of extreme fatigue, which added to my weight gain. I was completely not expecting the improvements I felt with all of this. What an experience. If you never tried Cyrotherapy, this is the place to go. Located in Alamo Las Tampas Center *Starbucks/Ace Hardware strip mall. Jesse, greeted me warmly and explained both treatments I'll be receiving. I had the 30min infrared sauna and the cryo facial. First of all her place is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. During my sauna service you are draped and water is provided but best to bring your own water bottle *recommended. Appropriate music was playing and for the entire 30mins I got a decent sweat going. There's a iPad inside and you can change the music or watch a movie! After my sauna I went into another room for my facial. This is not your typical facial think of a handheld device that's admitting cold,cold air moving strategically on your face. Initially on a low setting then a little bit higher. You can definitely feel your skin *pores closing up! Especially after the sauna. Felt so good! I notice my skin was very smooth and brighter! She even gave attention to my wrinkles & brown spots :) during the facial, I did mentioned about my neck issue and she had me sit up and then she focused on the specific area.
