I've been going here for years... A bit of background. I've tried Chiropractors before to little/no success...was starting to buy into the idea that they are hype. My girlfriend recommended I try them out after an injury working out. It was actually a torn head of the triceps. I have bought a groupon cryotherapy deal and called on Wednesday 4 times because it says I need an appointment. Since no one answers and calls me back, I just went to their office. It turns out it was closed. It supposed to be open on Wednesday (it says on the door) but it was closed. I got a call back on Thursday and told that I can only come to cryotherapy on Tuesday. Naturally, I refunded my Groupon. This is for my daughter who play soccer and it's no use if we can go only on Tuesday. Not sure what they are trying to achieve from this business model. US cryotherapy which we use normally, you can just drop by anytime. No appointment needed. Cryo itself takes 3 minutes so even if there is someone before you, you don't wait that long. It's convenient. And if you are playing sports, you have to be able to choose when you can drop by. (Just after the game.. etc) Pity because reading the review, it seems like people are happy with this place and my daughter is definitely a good fit customer here. read more

This place is amazing! I went in for an adjustment, cryo, and a massage. I've never been to a chiropractor before but I've been having a lot of neck and shoulder pain that has gotten worse in the last couple months and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I found this place! Adjustment: I saw Dr. Nejad. He did an initial assessment and looked at my posture. He quickly pointed out the problem areas and broke everything down for me. When he adjusted me I felt an instant relief. I was literally lost for words. I didn't realize how badly I needed this until I left the office. Massage: I got a 30 min massage from Christian. He is AMAZING! He knew exactly where my knots and problem areas were. I told him to go deep and he did just that. It was so painful but I felt soo good after! I've had many massages from various spas and been to different massage therapists. He knows what he is doing! The experience was great from beginning to end. The assistant that walked me through the whole appointment was always extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She was able to keep my mind off of being frozen during my cryo session. Their customer service is actually pretty good and the service provided was also good. Then why the 1 star? The 1 star rating is from how ChiroSports USA billed my insurance on each 30 minute session I attended - about 9 separate sessions. So this is not just a one off event. Granted I used my insurance and was just responsible for the copay, seeing what and how much they charged my insurance for a 30 minute session really sounded the alarm for me. If you pay cash, a 30 minute chiropractic appointment is ~$100 - that's what I had paid for the first session since they hadn't figured out what my copay was from my insurance - even though it says it on the card. So if you pay cash, a 30 minute session would be about $100. (They credited me the difference of what I paid and what my copay for the subsequent visit). $100 give or take $30 is about the cost of chiropractic adjustment / office visit in the area - I've been to several and paid cash instead of insurance. Once I started using my insurance / copay ($40) - you would assume that they would bill my insurance the difference between the copay and whatever difference there was from what this place charges and what the insurance is willing to pay. Below is what they billed my insurance for a 30 minute session: Itemized list: $75 - office visit - [why would you charge me an office visit on top of the other things] $45 - traction for neck or back - [might be the moving bed I was laying on for 5 mins] $45 X 2 - nerve muscle stimulation (I'm assuming each side is $45) $45 - heat therapy with ultrasound $60 - muscle training - [5 minutes of someone stretching my legs] $35 - hot or cold pack treatment - [they really charge that much for re-usable cold packs?] $60 - body movement therapy - [5 minutes of someone stretching my legs - same as muscle training I think] $59 - chiropractic adjustment $70 - non-spinal adjustment - [I don't know what a non-spinal adjustment is - I certainly did not receive that as my main complaint was about my lower back] Total: $494 Looking at what and how they billed above, you would think that this session would be at least an hour or more, but it lasted about 30 minutes. The services that I actually received are: -muscle stimulation ~ 10 mins -ultrasound therapy ~ 5-10 mins -stretching ~5 mins -spinal adjustment ~3 mins What I received shouldn't even come close to $494 billed to my insurance. Seriously $120 to stretch my legs for 5 minutes?! Just say not even office visits to MDs constitute that much for 30 minutes of their time. I am very much skeptical of their billing practices at ChiroSports and would advise those who do use insurance to take a good look at the itemized bill they charge your insurance even if you're just happy paying your copay. These kinds of practices are the reason why healthcare is so expensive and why health insurance costs go up year after year. In summary the services and people there were good. I was really disgusted by their billing practices to my insurance. read more

Like many other reviewers here, I had purchased a GroupOn for the Cryo+30min massage. I've always been curious about Cryo, and this presented a nice opportunity to give it a go. It was initially a little cumbersome to make the appointment (Cryo treatments are readily available, but the massage part/scheduling is more limited). I left a VM on Monday, and got a call back the next day for an appt on Fri. For new clients they go through a quick assessment, mine was with Dr. Manny. Super friendly and chill (no pun intended) guy. The masseuse was running late so I went into the cryo chamber first (they gave me the option of going after, but I was in a time crunch). The cryo lasts ~3min. Afterwards, they laid me on rolling massage table while the masseuse got prepped. My masseuse was Michael and he did an awesome job targeting tight spots near my lower back and hips. Made a huge difference! (don't forget to tip). Overall, I was very impressed with the service received...the value was nuts. I'll like be back for the massage portion. It was my first time getting a sports-type massage and has so far been the most effective for me. read more

Bought a 5 session Groupon for this place. Booked an appointment for a Saturday 3 days after I bought the Groupon. I get a call from them on the day of the appointment saying that the chamber isn't working and would like to reschedule me for a different day. They next available appointment they give me is on a Saturday two weeks from the initial appointment. I go ahead and take that. Now after waiting for 3 weeks from my initial appointment, they call me again on the day of the appointment and say the chamber isn't working again. This is totally bizarre. I don't understand how the machine seems to not function 3 weeks in a row and they still have the business running. This is probably the worst service I have ever bought. read more

I have had a kink in my back for a few months and started asking around for a good Chiropractor / masseuse / sports medicine Doctor. I have always been weary of the traditional Chiropractor that just pops your neck. That has always kinda scared me. So one of the professional fighters at my MMA Academy suggested this place to me. I have been four times so far in the last two weeks and I am thoroughly impressed. This is what you get each session .... First they put these electronic pulse Stim pads on your lower back (or other affected areas) along with a heating pad for 10 minutes. Then they use an ultra sound wand with the Stim pads to further break up the tissue and increase blood flow. Then they briefly stretch your full body out for a few minutes. Then the Doc adjusts you ... Neck, back, hips .... Then you get a 30 minute massage. This place is Amazing and I began to feel improvement after just two visits. My insurance covers 20 visits per year. So I just pay my $15 co-pay each visit and tip the masseuse. Sometimes if the masseuse is not available Dr. Cabero will put you on this rolling massage table which is also awesome. They have other devices as well and they also have a Cryo Chamber too. If you guys need any maintenance or treatment programs for your aching bones u gotta check this place out ! Now, almost 3 months later, between the ultra sound, hot & cold packs, taping, and the recommended exercises, my knee is almost back to normal! I'm excited to be back exercising at almost 100%. This facility is chiropractic on another level! The staff are so welcoming, friendly, and professional. I have had chronic neck pain (woke up with it and went to bed with it as well) from osteoarthritis and had taken prescribed Motrin 800s. I also suffer from sinus/migraine issues and the occasional sciatic pain. Dr. C is fantastic at taking care of me from top to bottom! I love everything about his treatments; from the heat and stim to the adjustments. Dr. Cabero is by far the best chiropractor I've been to. I've seen quite a few because I have a very active lifestyle. He knows what he's doing, very professional and has a very fun atmosphere. I myself am a Massage Therapist and Esthetician, with a very demanding job, whom also trained a lot at the gym but had to slow down because I started to have some really intense right shoulder pain.
