    Bulk meat

I was told that this business used to be called Cash& Carry. It's generally a market for restaurant and businesses like caterers. However, the general public can shop here. Come here if you want to have a large barbecue and get a whole loin slab to carve into steaks for grilling. Come here if you are having 20 friends camping with you and you want to get a whole court of pre -made scrambled eggs. Mix in a carton . (If you want to make omelettes for 50 people, this is the place to go !) Come here if you want to buy a whole lot of food, in general. This is an alternative to going to places like Costco or other bulk foods sellers. Building is nice. Everything seems clean and well maintained. Staff seems friendly and helpful.

Food service! This is one of the best place in south sac for whole sale. This is much closer than Costco to me. The prices vary but this place a bit more costly than other wholesale but the quality in products is there. It's open to the public no membership needed.

We came here for the first time today and wow - we will be back! The store is easy to find - right off 99 Freeway at Florin and 65th Street. Lots of parking. Store is clean, well lit, easy to navigate. We had outstanding, friendly and helpful customer service from every employee! It was remarkable how happy they seemed and so nice. Made our visit a treat. I came in for coffee items: syrups, toppings, etc. OMG the best selection of flavored syrups I have ever seen. Every brand, every flavor, sugar free, etc. And the price is outstanding - only $5.59 for the large size. We bought five! This is a restaurant supply store so there are large quantities of things - condiments, flour/sugar, frozen items, and more. We were so satisfied with our purchases. We drove quite a distance and we will gladly drive here again for more supplies. Check it out for sure.

Move over Costco and Sam's Club. The US Chef's Store is encroaching our your previously unchallenged territory consisting of bulk food and pantry items. I wandered in on a whim after hearing from a friend that this was the real spot when it came to bulk bargains. It's hard to disagree. The store was virtually empty with aisle after aisle of goodies at incredible prices. I didn't think I needed much when I came in, but my mind was changed by the time I left. I was most impressed with the meats section - a massive walk in freezer consisting of every cut imaginable pre-wrapped and ready to fill up your cart. I also wandered the aisles and ended up buying some condiments, canned goods and utensils. A friendly employee pointed me in the right direction when I couldn't find something I was looking for. I will say the focus here is on bargains and lesser known brands. You'll still find the top quality brands at Costco. But if you're looking for, say, hot dogs, burgers, buns, plates, potato salad, condiments and plates for a big barbecue or something similar, there is no better spot than here.

This place is open to the public. Credit cards and cash are accepted here. No personal check. If you're looking to cater or have a big party at your house, this is the place to shop for all your party needs. Many things are sold in bulk, but you will find that most are reasonably priced. They've got plenty of frozen goods, meats, cheeses and many more. This store carries similar items like Smart & Final. You can find lots of good items here. Most produce such as onions and tomatoes are sold in bulk packages /bags. The store is clean and the employees are nice.

I'm loving that there's another Smart Foodservice aka Cash & Carry location in Sacramento. This location being in South Sacramento of Florin & 65th Street. Today 06/15/18 is the Business Preview for customers to come in and get amazing deals not only the that, but if you spend $100 or more you'll get $50 off your entire purchase!! Now you're talking my language. The inside is very spacious and well organized, much better than the Richards Blvd location. The staff is really eager to help with any questions and all smiles! I'm hoping the staff continue with the same momentum here on forward. Today the have food samples for people with many different diets from the complete meat eater to Vegan! I would definitely, drive a little further to this location due to having plenty of parking. The set up and organization is on point and so easy to find everything. I know they just opened today, but you must check this location out. It doesn't disappoint.

Ughh I hate to be the first to not give 5 stars but while I like this place, there were some issues. Walking in, it is very similar to a Smart and Final, actually they carry First Street products, so very much like S&F. I would definitely not say like a Costco though. First issue, the meat section. All meat is priced per pound but the labels have no pre weighed out price nor are there any scales. The selection of fresh non frozen meat was limited. I don't recall seeing any fresh steaks, pork chops or even chicken. It was all prepackaged already frozen. The employees were somewhat nice. While in the meat section though 2 of them came in there to talk on their phones. We asked about a scale and they said we would have to price everything at the checkout counter, which would be a pain for us all. Second issue, they freeze their bread products. I know bread can be frozen, I keep loafs in mine but it was odd only their muffins and Hawaiian rolls were frozen. Third issue, their pricing wasn't too great. I can get a loaf of bread for $1, they wanted $3+ and a 6 pack of bell peppers was almost $10. I will give them credit for some items like their prosciutto. While it wasn't the Parma kind, it was $6.80 per lb and when I buy from the deli I pay $25 per lb (for the Parma tho). Another plus is it is empty! No playing bumper carts in the isles. The whole time we were there we only saw 2 other customers. Overall it's better than Smart & Final but no Co UPDATE: This may be a duplicate, Yelp is trippin at the moment. I have decreased my stars because some of the times we purchased were spoiled or expired. Bag of Cuties were all dry and shriveled the same day of purchase. Bag of avocados, half were spoiled the next day. Pack of deli sliced turkey had a use by/freeze by date of 1/13/19, I purchased in the fresh section not frozen section on 1/20/19.

I was always curious about shopping in this store in the past but always came by when it was either closed or I did not have time to go in when I was passing by to grab my groceries at Smiles. I'm glad I was finally able to go this year and see what I have been missing. The store is a bit tight when looking at things, but I don't feel as overwhelmed when I look as it's very general and basic to the point. The store isn't big like KP, but I feel it's easier to look around without feeling overwhelmed, if that makes sense? Small, yet intimate to get the time you need without feeling as though something was overlooked. It's all self-explanatory, all in eyes view without over looking at all the products.

We never have any issue at this store as we never returned any items before. Except for very last time June 2026. We bought an item in-store around $85 on June 15th. Staff was so friendly and helpful "went above beyond to help us find the size we asked for". Everything was done quickly and as expected. Then on June 29th 2026 we came back to return it because the size is not match to the one we already have at restaurant. Product's never used. "At the time we walked in the store. Staff welcomed us immediately. The right hand side cashier from the entrance, the guy took care of us. After knowing that we came just to return the product. He checked the paper receipt promptly . Without asking for anything else he just said "oh this one is purchased with cashier named "J...". He moved us to "J.." counter and asked us just wait there. Around 5 - 7 mins later, store is very quiet. At 2:55pm only us and another one customer in store with 5-6 staff went around counter, aisles. We were still standing there in front of "J..." counter. We still kept waiting in front of counter. 10 mins passed, no sign of "J..." 's appearance. We almost quit, one of us decided to go home and come back in another day. The cashier / customer service lady from the other side of store came and offered help. She moved us to her counter. At this moment only she said: next time when we wanted to returned anything. Just come to her counter. The other side with sell associates when we have some other issues or questions about items. She done the returned very quickly just in 3 mins. Selection- probably good if you have a business? There are a lot of things in quantities appropriate for a place for commerce. My house? Not so much. Only have one smaller dog and she doesn't need 75 lb. bags of kibble each time. Value - probably good if you have a business. Most folks do not, though, and it's funny when they justify huge purchases for a smaller family. Guess that's a Costco thing in general though. It's great that things come in smaller sizes. Individual sizes, in fact, but I do not need 96 smaller containers of nacho cheese sauce. Might even have a difficult time trying to give that much away. There are plenty of things like plates, napkins and utensils to accommodate the masses. My immediate family is not massive, however. So the value found in numbers is lost because most of it would to go waste. In fact, they don't have as many things for individuals here. No food court, no fuel station. We got a bottle of water for a quarter and I think you can find that in other stores made for smaller parties. Parking was simple because fewer regular people frequent places like this. That's the whole reason for it. Their target audience is: (obviously) business owners. Was fun to see the different types of goods but the portions are out of control for smaller families like mine. You can find individual servings with the caveat that you'd need to purchase hundreds of those servings, so savings for smaller parties is minimized. Maybe throw a big party and it'd be worth it to shop here. Maybe.
