Private parking lot. Decently clean for an Asian grocery store. The hot foods section is pretty good. It's pretty clean for the most part. The hot foods is the best you can get for the price. They have several catering options as well. Must order prior and pay prior to day of for pick up. The lady at the hot foods place is super nice! Be forewarned, if you're rude, she'll be rude right back (I witnessed it myself, though fortunately was not on the receiving end). They have quite a variety of produce, frozen items, drinks, alcohol, meat, etc as well. The ice cream section is pretty stacked! Lots of the trending ice cream and popsicles. My pick for hot foods is the Roasted Pig (they sell a whole one by preordering or they also have smaller options to buy just for lunch), Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, and Salt & Pepper Shrimp. The fried rice needs a bit of soy sauce, but it's pretty decent on its own. I would not choose the Spare Ribs. It's a little dry in my opinion. The eggrolls was crispy, but lacked flavor. The chow mein is edible. Not bad, but nothing to brag about. Again, add soy sauce. What I really like about this place is that everything is not too salty like most other Chinese spots I've been to. I like that you can add soy sauce to enhance the flavor, but it's not already on there so I can enjoy it as well as my children and parents (who prefer more bland food). This was not our first time here and will not be our last.

100% RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO SHOP HERE, best asian supermarket and they're more friendly than most (trust me). I always come here to buy ingredients because they have the freshest meats, seafood and veggies. Love how they also sell pork skin without fat and fat on it too. They have the best prices on alcohol in Sacramento too. Came here to get a bottle to engrave and the business owner so KIND, PATIENT, and HUMBLE helped me engrave a bottle to a family member. I love how this supermarket is also INVOLVED in the community. They give back alot too and aren't greedy so that's a plus. This store is very clean, professional and they offer a WIDE VARIETY of snacks and drinks. Its always a good experience coming here. The food is good too, I would say better than the other hot foods you would get at an asian supermarket (especially SF).

This review is for the chinese food to go. The supermarket, as a whole, was clean and organized. I haven't been here in a while but I was in the neighborhood and decided to get a quick lunch to go. They have a nice selection of Chinese food, fish, chicken and pork yo choose from. I got a 2 item combo. I got the mushroom zucchini chicken and sweet and sour pork with chow mein and fried rice. The sweet and sour pork was too mushy for me and the rice was a little stale/hard. I'll probably try other items next time.

Staff is nice and they have a huge variety of stuff. It should be called an international super market. I was happy to find Wattie's Baked Beans and other products from New Zealand there! I normally only find them at Cost Plus, but I'll be coming here more to stock up :)

This place is the absolute BEST! They offer custom bottle engravings and I was very lucky to work together on my special bottle. Thank you so much!

    Hole roasted pig very tasty

Order a hole roast pig one day in advance and they were able to make it happen very tasty and friendly

HAIR IN FOOD. they also told me this is ground pork but it's shrimp, could kill someone with seafood allergies.

I go here a lot to buy lunch but 1) HAIR in BOTH foods that's completely wrapped separately. 2) they told me that there's ground pork in the dumplings but it's SHRIMP. There was also hair in my food i didn't even notice until i tried to bite the 2nd time. someone could really have a bad day if they were allergic to seafood and was told it was pork. BIG BIG problems with this establishment, not coming back. also, this is not the cashier's fault but when he scanned my food he OVERCHARGED ME for 6.99 for someonething labeled 2.49 and had to refund my money. bad bad stuff.

Came here early upon opening to grab dinner ingredients, specifically kaopiak. There was one bag left. Had to go to People Supermarket to get more as I was having guests over. Tip: don't come early if you're looking for to go stuff. Vendors are not here to drop off food to sell yet. Looked for herbs but they didn't look so fresh. I passed. Checked out and saw good selection of alcohol though.

Great service!! They're up to date with food trends! From ice cream to chips! Very affordable meat prices as well. One of my favorite Asian supermarkets where I don't feel cheated because others are so expensive. My go to store!

Check your receipt. Got overcharged $21.99 for 8lb Armour lard on special for $19.99. Showed the cashier the sign and receipt and they argued and refused to give me the $19.99 and said their system is correct and not the sign. Beware.

I regularly stop in to pick up treats, drinks, produce like mushrooms and okra, and their poke and hot meal options. I also like their home goods sections with so many cool ramen bowls, sauce containers, and utensils. I'm always excited when I stop in when it's slower because I can take my time browsing. Whenever this happens I end up leaving with a lot more items. I appreciate that they carry a wide variety of items including some ingredients and items that are hard to find in the US and even at other Asian grocery stores. I've stopped into many different stores and I feel like Oto's has variety and quality at a great price. They do have their own parking, but be careful because it can be pretty tight and there's usually a good amount of cars coming in and out.

But none of those reasons are the real reason I truly love Oto's,let me tell you what I really love.....Late last year I decided I was going to learn how to make my favorite food in the world and that is sushi.I went ham,I got the knives I got the kits,I got the rice maker,I got all the seasonings but what I didn't have was a spot to pick up the highest level of fish that was needed to really make homemade sushi pop and that is where Oto's came in to save the day. Their daily "sushi-grade" tuna and salmon that they sell in the back of the store is so next level-even a novice like myself cannot mess up a homemade sushi meal. They have so much to offer at Oto's,all the different levels of salmon and tuna, depending on your budget but all of it is amazing. I will forever be indebted to Oto's for helping me raise my sushi game at home and making my wife think that I'm just the best sushi maker-when it was always just the high quality fish offered at Oto's that did the work-Thank You Oto's for that. In closing-if you ever find yourself in the Land Park area and want to see what all the hype is about at this incredible spot or maybe you just want to try your hand at some home sushi making,be sure to stop by Oto's Marketplace-it truly is a gem amongst gems. PS....Parking sucks here-no way around that one unless u get lucky or have a handicap placard-don't like the parking.

I cook a lot at home and love when I'm able to find a variety of ingredients. As you walk in they had a variety of items up front and then you enter the fruit and veggie section. They have a good variety and a lot of them are pre packaged along the walls in the refrigerated section. I picked up some brussel sprouts here and kept browsing. The back section has more frozen and refrigerated items including dumplings, meatballs, drinks, meats, and more. The very back has a butcher and seafood, including tanks of live seafood. Near the seafood it smells like a fish-market and the smell kind of permeates through the store but that's what you get with fresh fish. The aisles have an interesting organization and while they have a good variety there are some things that I've found elsewhere that I didn't see here. I did notice that there were some good deals, I picked up a couple items that I've found for a couple dollars more at other local markets. They only had one check out open when I stopped in, but the person who checked me out was quick and efficient. There's plenty of parking in the lot and there are some other great businesses in the plaza like the post office, pizza, boba, and some others.
