Day before thanksgiving I went in to get my nails done and left happy. :) well 2 days ago (a week later), one of them started lifting and chipped, so I removed it. I contemplated just having them removed since I work long days but instead i talked myself into going back and seeing if they would fix it after work.... .Well I got in around 6pm, no questions asked, Tee found the color on the color swatch and went to work. Not only did she redip my SNS style nail, she also took the time to rebuff my other nails and gloss them back up to new again. I've been coming here since I was 16. I haven't been here in about two years because I moved over an hour and a half away. Today I was in the area and wanted a pedicure. I walked in and the owner immediately remembered me and gave me a hug! They are so friendly and the technicians that have worked on me have always done an amazing job. From Tee's wise color choices and crazy beautiful SNS magic to Hannah and Lan who's attention to detail is outstanding! I used to get gel (which they have done a fantastic job with!) and now I have moved to SNS. The atmosphere was pleasant. I just moved to the area from Galveston county and this is my first nail salon experience in about 1 yr. T was great she was patient and took her time. I was getting a soak of someone else's work and she was just as pleasant as if she was removing one of her techs work. I'm not sure who did my pedicure but i had an ingrown toenail that was giving me the blues and she took her time and removed it all. They do require mask to be worn the entire time and require you to was your hands upon arrival. I will come again. read more

I didn't realize the good reviews are old! The customer service was terrible. My nail tech never spoke to me. She talked to the other technicians the entire time. I told her my old powder wasn't completely off for the new color she ignored me 2 times. . She was irritated when I told her some of the new powder wasn't covering the sides of most of my nails. She applied more and flipped my hand away. I was exhausted at the time and I should have left, because I have done that before at another salon. My pedicure was a20 minute job I could have done myself. $70 for both. No thank you nothing. Save your money go somewhere else. I'm going to have them redo somewhere else today. It's been about a week since I got my nails done at US Nails and Spa. Overall pretty good! Customer service was to be expected: nobody was rude or unpleasant but we weren't all buddy buddy either. Took about 2 hours total for both mani and pedi - hour and fifteen minutes for the pedicure, forty-five minutes for the nails. I got solar nails (a type of acrylic) with French tips and a French tip pedi and they are holding up nicely!! It had been about 6 years since my last manicure or fake nails so it's refreshing for me to not worry about my nails looking uneven, gross, or unkempt. Same with my toenails, although it hasn't been quite as long since I'd had a pedicure - but I can wear flip flops with no care in the world. They only lengthened the nails slightly, roughly 1/3'd of an inch longer than my original nail, which is exactly what I requested. A few notes: Not 100% forthright about the nails. I wasn't aware solar was a type of acrylic until I looked it up myself. I don't care too much since my nails grow quickly and I don't do this often, it was just a tiny bit of a pet peeve. ALSO, during the pedicure, it was overall enjoyable but at times the water was VERY HOT. My skin turned bright red with a visible line where my feet had been in the water and my legs had been out. They also put towels with hot water on my legs that hurt for a few seconds and plastic baggies with some sort of liquid that burned. It was enjoyable like I said and not something I would never do again, just be prepared!! I know this was a long review but I want anyone considering going to be aware! I would go back but I would also not be against looking at other salons too. Hoping my nails last for 4 weeks before I get a touch up... 1 week down, 3 to go! read more

I have been coming here for years. Hesitated to do a review because some spas are really good to the first few times and then get shotty after that. (At least in my experience) THIS PLACE IS GREAT. Tee is the shop owner and does an amazing job every time. The only and only time I had a not great experience is when I picked out a color and it didn't quite work for me. I came in a week later Tee remember me and immediately put me in a chair and fixed my nails. No charge no questions asked. Completely took care of me. Came in asked for a fill w gel for 2 people, owner said she could take us asap . But wait... We had to wait more than 20 minutes to get our nails started. Through out getting them filled the owner continuously ignored my questions and their nail polish isnt the color they say it is. It is now the next day and my index finger nail is already coming off , I came back in to get it fixed. I shower the owner how my nail is peeling off from one corner to the other and she just wanted to fill UNDERNEATH my real nail with glue and cut the nail ... when she really was supposed to take her time and remove the nail and redo it. Julie and the gang at US Nails are AWESOME! I have been using them for years! I switched to them after getting tired of overpaying at a trendy Spa that was supposed to be so incredible. I never looked back because this place is so much like the local Cheers bar we used to watch on tv! They remember you and your name and u love to go. They are innovative, talented and service based. They do solar, acrylic, mannies, Peddies, gel, powder, color, tips... And the color selection is incredible! See a cool pic on Pinterest u want? , Take it to them and they will do it! I get a billion compliments on my nails everywhere I go. I also love that I could do the solar overlay WITHOUT plastic tips when I started out year plus ago. My nails grew out on their own and I keep the solar in them because they break so easily. But I never had fake nails underneath! They do gel and regular polish and they now have a cool group of polishes that has a solar gel for your fingers and a MATCHING regular polish for your toes. No guess work and hours matching to find a color close enough! They do get super busy because they are so good at what they do so if u are in a hurry, make an appointment. But even when I walk in due to schedule it has never been a bad wait because if they know it is, they tell u and offer to schedule an hour up in the day so u can go do something in between! I also use them for waxing, facials and I am planning to try the new eyelashes! You cannot tell they are not yours! Give the group a try and you will see that these lady's and gentleman (Bling and Tim... Won't leave you out!) are well worth it. Oh... Did I tell u the prices are also great! As for the goopy nail polish and smell, I used to get my nails done at a high end upscale spa. $75 for a fill. It smelled the same and their polish gooped up to. It is what happens when you open and close bottles of polish so often. My spa at the lake threw some thinner in it there as they do here as I see them do everywhere! And the smell is from nail polish and nail polish remover. Stinks up any place you open despite being The Spa at the Lake or the local nail salon. It is like regular paint, not really away around it unless you do it outside and in Texas, that is not practical. read more

The worst place to go! Stay away! I made an appointment over a week ago, showed up 15 mins BEFORE my appointment time for my wedding manicure and pedicure. They started on my pedicure after 30 minutes and it looked terrible. A 5 year old could do a much better job. After that I sat there for over an hour and no one started on my manicure and they kept taking walk ins and would say I'll be with you. As far as these kind of nail places go, this place is pretty good. It's exactly as you would expect, nothing fancy but they do a good job and keep the TV on a good channel. They will don't talk to you and customer service is always lacking at these places, but the price is right and I can usually get in the same day so I'll keep going there for now. read more

Since I looked up a nail place on Yelp, I thought I'd give my feedback on my experience today. Pedicure and fills. I was shocked the pedicure took so long. But it's a GREAT pedicure. And the woman massaged my legs and feet 3 separate times. Then came my fills. I *thought* I had solar nails and wanted to switch to SNS. The technician talked to me about how much I use my hands and let me know that SNS would likely chip or break since I use my hands all day. So Solar it was. He then informed me that he had to redo the nails I had on because it was a really bad job and not solar at all. I was skeptical. But my nails look SO great. Truly. He was really fast and did an awesome job. Tom did my nails. The only downfall is one guy who works there. Who I found a lot about while I was getting my services. He talked SO loud and was quite inappropriate in his conversation topics. One such conversation was about an essay he had written on the difference between intimacy and being passionate. IN DETAIL. The jokes were loud and inappropriate. It was just a bit obnoxious to be honest. Overall the staff was extremely professional and the work was excellent. I stopped in here for a pedicure on a Sunday afternoon as a walk in. The told me to pick my color and i was settled into a pedi chair right away. The pedicure proceed perfectly normal. I read a magazine and relaxed while the technition did her job. She was quick and efficient. They did a kind of intesting hot wax in a bag on my feet treatment. It was nice, not something I'd had done before, but this was my first time here. Check out was easy as I paid cash. I thought the price was reasonal. A little less than I've paid at other places. I go to this place to get my SNS done (power polish) and I think this place does a phenomenal job on the actual nail part but when I go, I pay $40 and they dont cute my cuticles or give you a massage. I dont know if that is normal routine with their SNS but I think it is a little ridiculous. Its usually a part of the nail salon experience and you really dont get the spa experience without it.
